Judge – Karen Holdstock

It was a real pleasure to be invited by the Northern Italian Spinoni Association to judge this lovely entry, and I extend my sincere thanks to the committee for their kind hospitality. My gratitude also goes to the exhibitors for bringing their dogs - your support, sportsmanship, and the obvious care you put into your dog’s made the day a joy. A special thank you must go to my fabulous stewards, Olwen and Graham, whose efficiency, good humour, and calm organisation kept everything running smoothly and made my day both fun and enjoyable.

Brown Roan male in super condition. Beautiful head with diverging head planes. Kindest of eyes and well-set ears. Good lay of shoulder and corresponding return of upper arm. Ribs well sprung. Short‑coupled, with strength over the loin, finishing in a well-muscled rear with a good bend of stifle. Neat, tidy feet. Tail correctly set and carried correctly on the move. And move she certainly can. She made my hairs stand up - elegant yet powerful, stylish with effortless, ground covering strides. Completely natural, nothing overdone. Today she was the standout mover of the day. I could not deny her BB and ultimately BIS. Many congratulations.
