Breed: Beagle
P (3,1) 1. Dawson & Goodall’s Rundle Gambler. BP. Won the neck and lay of shoulder and movement. Good level topline with a good spring of rib and short loin. Lovely straight forearm with good bone and tight feet. Typical beagle head and expression, with well set ear and good leather, moved well both ways. 2. Rushforth’s Charterwood Speciality Of Campionfield. Happy mover both ways. Plenty of substance to her, with a feminine head, nice eye and correct skull and defined stop. Good flee to a level topline and well set on tail with correct carriage on the move. Would like a better lay back of shoulder and a little more bend of stifle. J (3,1) 1. Rushforth’s Campionfield Scrumptious. I preferred the 2nd place but I wasn’t able to exam him properly today. Good bone and tight feet. Well ribbed with a good level topline. I’d like a little more substance all through for me. 2. Davis’ Lilleagle Waterboy. A good honest dog however I wasn’t able to examine him properly which was a disappointment. Good bone and tight feet. Good flow through his neck into a level topline and correct tailset and carriage on the move. PG (3). 1. Murphy ‘s Bayard Seal Of Approval At Rhosyndu JW. BOB. Hound Group 1. An upstanding masculine dog with plenty of Beagle type. Good beagle head with a defined stop, a slight domed skull, broad with correctly set ear. Broad nose with a enough flews. Clean neck and shoulder with good bone and tight feet. Well strung rib and well arch loin. Good topline and tailset well on and carriage correct on the move. A well let down hock and well conditioned. Moved well both ways a very honest dog. 2. Dawson & Goodall’s Rundle Gambler. 3. Rushforth’s Satisfaction. O (2) 1. Murphy’s Felinoak Gossip At Rhosyndu (AI). RBOB. I preferred the substance and balance too 2nd. Feminine balanced head with defined stop. Good eye and well set ear. Good round bone and tight feet. Well laid shoulder, with spring of rib and loin, topline level. Well set on tail and moved well from behind. Front movement could be a little more together. 2. Davis’ Lilleagle Chivas Whisky. A little up to size for a bitch. Good bone and tight feet. Feminine pleasing head and expression. Kept her topline on the move and drove out well.
