Whippet I thoroughly enjoyed judging this entry of Whippets, my thanks to the exhibitors and the committee. A nice sized ring, as always some of the Whippets not giving the most of themselves on the day in the atmosphere. Puppy (5, 1 abs) A nice class of puppies to start the day with. 1st - Collooney Speak Of The Devil With Kierpark. This smart puppy put in a very nice performance to secure his win here today. I found him to be a quality boy of good size and type with a very polished performance for an 8 month old puppy. Correct angulation and standing very sound in front and rear which he also showed on the move. He presented a nice outline at all times. He won a very nice class and Best Puppy today. 2nd - Palmik Raindrop. I liked this almost 7 month bitch puppy a lot. She is of correct size and has type and quality and moved soundly and correctly when settled. I found her well proportioned throughout with lots of style. Unfortunately in today’s venue she didn’t show herself to her best advantage but could not be denied this place on her overall quality. 3rd - Wolfscastle Crazy In Luv Junior (3, 1 abs) 1st - Wolfscastle Easy Luva. Coming up for a year this boy was up to size but with all in proportion. Another who did not prefer the venue but his handler managed this sensitively to get the best from him. Stood soundly and on good feet. When settled he showed a correct action on the move to win this class. 2nd.- Silkridge Figgy Pudding with Zeglynn. This boy appealed for type with an appealing head and correct eye. A positive outlook and well handled, I would have preferred a lower action in the front movement. Special Yearling (2) 1st - Swistir Talk Of The Town. Young boy of just 19 months and maturing well. Of good size and type and handled to his advantage. Good pigmentation and in good body condition. 2nd - Silkridge Figgy Pudding with Zeglynn; 2nd in Junior. Post Graduate (6, 3 abs) 1st - Ringmore Jocasta. This bitch really appealed to me for breed type. 2 years old and in good body condition. She did not always give the best of herself on the stand but shows her lovely shape perfectly in profile movement. I liked her typical head and expression and her body proportions very much. Would have liked a better movement coming towards but a lovely quality bitch nonetheless. 2nd - Kierpark Devil In Disguise. Just months old male who was giving away a lot on maturity to the winner. On the larger side but with good body proportions and a lot of quality. He moved soundly coming and going when settled. 3rd - Almakaeala Just Go With It Open Dog (3) 1st - Zeglynn Hello You. A taller boy with an appealing outline who won this class on the soundest movement. He has correct ribbing and was balanced in angulation front and rear. 2nd - Almakaeala Just Go With It. Liked the type of this boy with a quality head and correct expression. I preferred the front angulation and topline of the 1st. 3rd - Alamayn Cheverons In Blue Open Bitch (3) 1st - Tervanty Dragon Song At Palmik JW. Young bitch of just 21 months with lots of breed type. She is of nice size with correct bone for her size. I found her to be the soundest here today. She is very much the showgirl, doing the best for herself at all times. Well handled and in lovely body condition. I was pleased to award her Best of Breed. 2nd - Wolfscastle Be Juled. 2.5 year old bitch, of very different type to 1st and also in lovely condition. Well proportioned body and stood soundly both front and rear, which also showed on the move. She was unfortunate to meet 1 who I felt had the more elegance. 3rd - Ringmore Iona Jo Ratcliffe
