Firstly I would like to thank the committee for inviting me to judge at this lovely, friendly and well run show. I was delighted with the entries in all the breeds that I judged and I thank the stewards for doing such a great job of keeping things moving so well.

Boxer

Puppy (1) 1st Golds, Mrs SL Limubox Tag Your It for Cascorike. 7mths male. A jolly, light brindle and white puppy who enjoyed his time in the ring and took advantage of the space. Lovely head, with ears set high on the skull and large expressive eyes showing a lively intelligent expression. Lovely stop, dark nose and correct dentition with decent padding to the muzzle. Nicely proportioned body which is developing well. Enough rear angulation. Excellent cat like feet. Moves with drive and reach when concentrating. Shown in lovely condition and well handled. BPIB.

Junior (3) 1st Kavanagh, Miss LA Marbelton Mix’N Match.13mth male. Substantial fawn and white boy, standing square on lovely tight feet. Solid, lean skull, showing wrinkle when alert. Handsome face, lovely dark, well shaped muzzle and correct shaped ears and dark eyes. Nice arched neck leading to a very good front assembly and square body. Excellent rear angulation which he used extremely powerfully on the move. Shown in excellent condition. RBOB

2nd Welch, Mrs J & Mr T Newlaithe Bridget Jones with Treju. 12 mth girl. Good sized dark brindle and white bitch, with definite substance whilst retaining her definite femininity and style. Lovely head and ear set. Gentle, inquisitive eyes, dark nose and good shape and width to the muzzle. Nicely arched neck to a solid front assembly . Excellent front angulation showing a lovely deep chest and well defined withers. Moved out well keeping her topline whilst staying balanced. Shown in lovely condition and well handled.

Post Graduate. (2) 1st Smith, Mr S & Mrs V Slanstorm Supanatural Dean. 3yr male. Well built fawn and white boy, substantial bone and substance. Lovely calm expression from dark brown inquisitive eyes. Moderate ears, set wide apart on a clean skull, wrinkling when alert. Distinct stop, not overdone. Correct arch to the neck, leading to a deep chest and good strong legs onto cat like feet. Very well muscled, moved out purposefully and with drive, whilst holding his topline. Lovely rear angulation. Overall, a compact and fit example of the breed. Shown in very good condition.

2nd Littlewood, Miss MA, Airwaves over Newlaithe. 22mths . Very pretty dark brindle and white girl, with a lovely dark eye and muzzle of correct ratio to skull. Dark nose and very good ear and eye shape. Elegant, clean neck leading to a lovely well developed front and deep chest. Good shoulder and substantial bone sitting on fabulous cat like feet. Moved out very well, maintaining her balance and topline. Shown in lovely condition. Only lost out to 1st today on maturity.

Open.(2) 1st Woods, Mr K, Arkeney Geneva. 22mth elegant, showy, brindle and white quality bitch in super condition and with everything in place. Well muscled, fit and displaying an inquisitive but calm expression. Lovely shaped head with correct ratios. Dark, expressive eyes, lovely earset and enough wrinkle when alert. Nicely arched neck leading to a super topline, which she held well on the move, giving a balanced, energetic but controlled profile whilst moving forward with drive and purpose. Lovely deep chest. Good strong bone, sufficient front and rear angulation and tight feet. Shown in super condition and beautifully handled. Delighted to award her Best of Breed.

2nd Smith, Mr S & Mrs V. Slanstorm Supanatural Sam. 4yrs. Presenting a very pretty picture, this brindle and white girl has a lovely face, excellent muzzle of correct thickness and colour. Good earset, dark expressive eyes of correct size and shape. Correct dentition. Neck slightly longer, leading into well defined withers and a deep chest. Good topline and super bone. Lovely cat like feet. Very good rear angulation which she used effectively when on the move, showing drive and purpose. Well developed 1st and 2nd thighs. Shown in fit, well muscled condition. Super temperament.

Bullmastiff

Puppy (3/2) 1st Thomas & Bull, Misses C&R. Reesley Let’s Have it Then Phoria. 9 mth male. This playful fawn puppy had a lovely time but was certainly capable of concentrating on the job when asked. Head of correct proportions with the correct stop and short muzzle, Beautiful dark eyes, good shaped ears, lying relatively flat to the skull, giving the required square appearance. Excellent well arched neck leading to a deep chest and good lay of shoulder. Stands square on excellent bone. Feet need to tighten up a bit. Good short back and 2nd thigh developing as according to his age. He has the makings of a very substantial boy and he looks set fair to do very well. Sympathetically handled and in excellent condition. BPIB

Junior (2/1) Green & Leys, Miss T & Ms I. XL Bulletproof I am Titanium from Woodbulls Future(Imp Bel) 14mths. Lovely substantial girl with the sweetest of expressions and happiest of countenances. Lovely dark eyes and muzzle. Head could be broader but has correct stop, good short muzzle and correct ears lying relatively close to the skull. Nice arched elegant neck leading to a good front assembly onto lovely cat like feet. Moved with a sense of purpose and balance. Lovely short coat and shown in excellent condition. Super temperament. RBOB

Post Graduate (1) Turner, Ms G. Song Sudaa. 20mth fawn girl with super dark muzzle and eyes that indicate her gentle nature. Good square head of the correct proportions. Would like to see a bit more stop and ears closer to the skull. Nicely arched neck leading to a well angulated front and good bone, standing on excellent cat like feet. Short, straight topline, 2nd thigh developing well. Good rear angulation and tail just reaching the hocks. Was not particularly alert today but she moved with enough reach and drive. Beautifully presented and well handled.

Open. 1st Thomas & Bull, Misses C&R. Phoria’s Eden . 4yrs. Quality feminine fawn bitch, who is correct in nearly every way. Large, square head of correct proportions. Short and very dark muzzle. Super dark eyes with the most beautiful gaze that holds your attention. Nicely arched neck of good length leading to deep, wide chest and correct front angulation. Very good bone and substance and nice tight feet. Excellent topline which she held on the move, showing balance and purpose. Excellent rear angulation and well developed 2nd thigh. I felt that she could have moved more freely if she had been allowed more lead but the ring was slippery in parts, so that might have been the reason for this. Overall, she demonstrated elegance and power and I was delighted to award her Best of Breed. Congratulations!

Dobermann

Puppy (2) 1st. De Haaff, Mr N & Mrs H. Krieger’s New Illusion. Pretty dark brown girl 10mths and clearly enjoying her day out! Excellent wedge shaped head, lovely dark almond eyes, full of expression and very good fill under the eye. Elegant long neck leading to a well developing chest. Standing four square on excellent bone and tight feet. Lovely straight topline which she held on the move. Lovely rotary action giving a balanced and flowing movement both coming and going. Good 2nd thigh and well bent stifle. Shown in fit and muscular condition. Super temperament and for definite, a bright future ahead. Delighted to award her BPIB.

2nd Cannon, Mr C & Mrs W. Supeta’s Jazzylicious. Another very pretty black girl of 6mths. Super head, balanced in every way. Lovely dark expressive eyes, set beautifully. Ears neat and small. Elegant long neck of decent length. Very well off for bone. Super catlike feet. Deep chest and elbows tight to the brisket. Good body shape and angulation front and rear. 2nd thigh developing okay. Only lost out to 1 today on balance and topline when on the move. Another lovely puppy with a bright future ahead of her. Super temperament and well handled. In excellent condition.

Junior. (3/1) 1st Hemmings & Hickling, Mrs R, Mr P, Mrs C & Mr A, Evalesco’s Shade of Class. 17mths male. Very masculine bold boy, displaying a good square outline and with excellent overall proportions. Nice wedge shaped head, good depth of muzzle, nice flat cheeks. Darkest of eyes and ears set high on the skull which he used to his advantage when alert. Strong, lean neck into a decent lay of shoulder and leading to strong straight legs of excellent bone and substance onto lovely catlike feet. Good angulation fore and rear. Firm topline and strong rear quarters. Powered impressively around the ring showing balance and elegance, showing a good rotary action. Shown in fit, muscular condition. Super temperament. Won on maturity today.

2nd McClaren, Mrs J. Teuschons Raspberry Beret. 12mth. Beautiful calm girl with the loveliest of heads. A super example of the breed. Excellent wedge shape head, dark eyes and ears set high. Elegant lean neck, leading to a lovely front assembly with deep chest and straight legs onto really tight feet. Nice compact body, excellent bone and substance. Moved with purpose and drive, displaying the correct rotary action. Held her topline well. Very good angulation with correct angle proportions. Shown in tip top condition and well handled. This was a difficult choice but she only lost out to maturity today. However, I am sure she has a very bright future ahead.

Post Graduate. Beck, Mr W & Mrs M. Sacarias Blue Jean Baby at Bekesha JW. 2yrs. Elegant girl of good proportions. Reasonably wedged shaped head, tight muzzle and overall correct dark eyes and smallish ears set high. Super long lean neck leading to a decent chest and sufficient front angulation. Excellent cat like feet on good bone. Topline long and straight, leading to a perfectly held tail carried strongly on the move. Good 2nd thigh and very well muscled quarters. Super rotary action showing purpose and drive. Shown in excellent condition and well handled. RBOB

2nd Brough, Mrs Z. Aniiraz Ajax the Greater.14mths male. Super well made boy of good bone and substance. Nice head, well shaped and of correct proportions. Lovely dark eyes, of the correct beautiful almond shape. Solid, lean neck leading to a compact body, good angulation front and rear. Stifle well bent. Super feet. Moved out well enough, balanced both coming and going showing purpose and drive, although slightly lacking in real motivation today. Shown in lovely condition. Great temperament.

Open. Tant, Mr P & Mrs D. Rafthouse Bundlebrent at Granadeya JW. Eye catching quality brown and rust bitch 3yrs of a lovely shape. Slightly larger build which does not detract from her obvious femininity and refinement. Well off for bone and substance. Excellent wedge shaped head, slight stop, flat cheeks. Elegant, slightly convex lean neck leading to a super chest and front assembly. Very well angulated both front and rear. Deep brisket with elbows tucked in closely. Moved with drive and purpose whilst maintaining a straight topline and staying balanced both coming and going. Delighted to award her Best of Breed.

2nd Adams & Springett, Ms C & Mr D. Aritaur Lapis Lazuli. Another refined girl rising 5yrs old. Different build to 1 but not losing any femininity nor elegance. Lovely shaped head, darkest of eyes of correct shape and size. Correct dentition, nice flat cheek planes and a light stop. Long lean neck leading to a well made front assembly with reasonable forechest. Straight legs of excellent bone. Good square body shape overall, with very nice front and rear angulation. Straight hocks and strong rear pasterns. Moved out well, using her strong rear quarter to help power her around the ring. Lovely elastic movement. Super temperament and shown in top condition.

Newfoundland

Puppy (1) Leech, Mr GJ & Mrs P. Woudbear Truly, Madly, Deeply Mileoak (Imp Nld) 10mths male. Exceptionally handsome quality black puppy with a truly calm and docile nature. Dark, clean, almond shaped eyes, ears of correct shape and lying close to the head. Lovely strong and muscular neck leading to a compact, short body, excellent chest and shoulder assembly, standing four square on tight, webbed feet. Well off for bone and substance. Moved out true coming and going and although still a puppy, is sound and balanced. Beautifully presented and well handled. BPIB

Junior (2) Burton, Mr R C & Miss J, Vodahond Arlo. 15mths. Impressive, well boned and well bodied boy of quality and substance. Head of correct proportions, lovely teeth, dark expressive eyes, good ears lying close to the head. Strong neck, very well set onto the shoulders and leading to a deep chest and good angulation. Excellent feet, lovely feathering on all legs, super coat and great temperament. Moved with reach and drive, power and presence. Sound coming and going. Overall, he presented a lovely picture of a well rounded youngster who must have a bright future ahead. Delighted to award him Best Of Breed.

2nd Hosie, Mr K & Mrs K. Shadowrise Smash’n Grab. 14mths girl of beautiful proportions and displaying such a sweet disposition. Lovely kind face with deep muzzle, dark eyes, small correct shaped ears either side of a good broad skull. Strong neck onto an excellent lay of shoulder and good front angulation. Very well off for bone, good feet and beautiful double coat. Nice short topline which she held on the move. Lovely free gait showing balance and power. Only lost out today on slight lack of enthusiasm! Otherwise a really lovely girl. Shown in beautiful condition and well handled.

Post Graduate (3/2) 1st Chapple, Mrs C. Vodahond Violet for Peakcharm . 15mths. Litter sister to Junior winner so lots of similarities. Lovely calm expression and demeanour , Well balanced skull. Muzzle broad and well padded, good eye colour and shape. Well shaped ears lying close to the head. Long round neck arching gently to a very good front assembly with an excellent lay of shoulder onto strong, well feathered legs. Excellent feet front and rear. Short, strong back, gently sloping loin and very good rear angulation which she used to power freely around the ring, showing balance and strength. Shown in super condition and having the most calm, confident temperament. Pleased to award her RBOB.

Open. (4/2) 1st Watson, Dame JT. Newfangled Don’t you Dare at Cacodom. 3yrs black male with excellent double coat and super feathering on the legs. Head and muzzle well balanced, showing no wrinkle. Lovely shaped ears, strong neck onto good lay of shoulder and super front assembly with a nice deep chest and well developed, muscular legs onto correct feet. Moved powerfully and enthusiastically, showing real reach and drive, both coming and going and moving freely with his handler. Shown in beautiful condition. Super temperament.

2nd Constable, Mrs S. Valhalabears Just in Time. 3yrs brown bitch. Another beautiful girl in a fabulous coat and with super feathering in excellent condition. Lovely kind and expressive face, with good eye colour and set. Head of balanced proportions, muzzle deep and well padded. Good dentition and correct shaped chin easily seen from the front or side. Strong, short neck onto a decent lay of shoulder and substantial body. Excellent feet on good bone. Hocks well let down. Moved out okay fore and aft and held her topline on the move. Sloping croup and lovely tail carriage. Only lost out today on motivation. Shown and handled beautifully.
