My thanks for the invitation to judge at this Open show. Also my appreciation to my steward Darran who kept the show running smoothly.

PUPPY DOG – 2 – 1 AB

1. THOMPSON – ASHGATE FALKIRK – stood alone however his first place was well deserved. Impressive puppy, compact and balanced in appearance. Pleasing shaped head, dark eyes and well placed ears and a correct mouth. Nice length of neck and well placed shoulders. Correct bone and ribs. He has a level topline and a correct tail. He has strong , well angulated hindquarters and was presented in a correct coat. Moved true both ways. BP RBD

JUNIOR DOG – 1

1. BURNS – BURNESE LETS BE FRANK – Well presented dog. He is a nice size, has a masculine head with a slightly domed skull and good proportions. He has a medium sized eyes and a good expression. His ears were small and erect, mouth was correct. He neck was muscular and a good length leading to well placed shoulders and tucked in elbows. He has correct ribs, a strong loin and well angulated hindquarters. Coat was a good texture. Moved well both ways.

POSTGRADUATE DOG – 1

1. OWENS – FRISBECK HORN PIPE – pleasing head with dark eyes and erect ears. He has a level topline and a nice tail length. He is a nice size and moved steadily.

PUPPY BITCH – 2 – 2 AB

JUNIOR BITCH – 0

POST GRADUATE BITCH – 1 – 1 AB

1. BURNS – BURNESE MAID TO MEASURE - She is a nice size and has a feminine head. Her ears were small and carried firmly, eyes were dark and medium sized, she has a correct mouth, black nose and a lovely shaped head with a distinct stop. Her neck was a good length which enabled a correct set on of head. Her forelegs were straight and short with elbows well in. Body was compact with a level back and correct length of tail. Her hindquarters were strong and well angulated. Coat was a good texture and was presented in lovely condition. Movement was true both ways. BB and BOB & BIS

2. THOMSON – HILLCLOUD ECHOWAVE BY ASHGATE JW – pleasing head with dark eyes and small erect ears. She has a level topline and is a nice size. Correct in bone with a good coat texture. Hindquarters were toned and movement was good. Showed well. RBOB
