Retford Canine Society

Retford and DCS Open show Sunday 15th March 2026 at Newark and Notts Show Ground.

Unfortunately, Mr. Brian Hindley had been taken ill, so I was happy to stand in as an unexpected judge. I’d like to wish him a speedy recovery. Hopefully, he will be offered an appointment in the future, as he had drawn a lovely entry.

I want to thank the secretary and her team for the opportunity to support the club in this way. They are always the unsung heroes of the show. Also, thanks to the exhibitors for accepting my placements so sportingly. All dogs behaved impeccably, as did the handlers.
