GOLDEN RETRIEVERS 

Thank you to the committee for inviting me to judge and for their lovely hospitality. I thoroughly enjoyed my day. The show was well run, well laid out with good sized rings and very friendly. Thank you to both my stewards for keeping the ring running smoothly and to all exhibitors for entering under me. I was delighted with a quality entry.

Junior (5,1)

1st Mcdonald's Lamancha Unstoppable – eye catching 11 month bitch who caught my attention, lovely outline, very balanced overall, pleasing pretty head with kind expression, muscular neck of good length into well laid back shoulders, good fore chest, good bone and balanced body short coupled, good turn of stifle, hocks well let down, nice tail set, carried tail level on the move, coat in good condition, moved with ease around the ring driving and reaching. I liked her very much. 

2nd Warden's Hollinbrae Eurastar at Glentochty – 16 month dog with lovely, broad mascueline head and kind expression, muscular neck of good length into well laid back shoulders, good fore chest, good bone, short coupled, good second thigh and turn of stifle, hocks well let down, lovely tail carried level on the move, coat in good condition, moved well with drive. Just preferred the overall balance and tailset of 1.

3rd Bolton's Goldmarker I Dreamed a Dream at Shiresmill

Post Graduate (9, 1)

1st Mcdonald's Lamancha Time Traveller JW - 3 year old handsome dog, balanced overall, pleasing outline, coat in good condition, balanced masculine head with kind expression, neck of good length into well laid back shoulders, good bone, short coupled, good front and rear angulation and turn of stifle, hocks well let down, nice tail set, carried tail level. He moved with purpose and drive around the ring covering the ground with ease. 

2nd Carson's Bluebraes Broch Tuarach– pleasing 19 month old dog, lovely outline, pleasing balanced mascueline head with kind expression, good reach of neck into well placed shoulders, good bone, short coupled, good front and rear angulation and turn of stifle, hocks well let down, nice tail set, good coat. Moved well around the ring with drive and purpose. Just preferred the balance of 1.

3rd Warden's Holinbrae Eurostar at Glentochty

1st Mcdonald's Lamanche New Adventure JW eye catching, mature 7 year old bitch in super condition. I liked her as soon as she came in the ring, lovely outline, pretty femine head with kind eye and expression,, muscular neck of good length into well laid back shoulders, muscular fore chest, good bone and balanced body ,short coupled, good turn of stifle, hocks well let down, nice tail set, carried tail level on the move, coat in excellent condition, moved with drive and purpose around the ring, covering the ground with ease.
