I would like to thank the officers and committee for their kind invitation to judge at this friendly and well-organised show. To all the exhibitors, it was a true honour to assess your wonderful dogs, with many decisions being closely contested. I thoroughly enjoyed my day—thank you. I would also like to thank my hard-working stewards, Julie & Ian, for keeping the day running smoothly.

1. Foreman, Scrambled Egg
Promising and outgoing 8-month-old dog, who showed himself with confidence and has much to like. He possesses a little more bone and substance while remaining spannable. His head is nicely proportioned, with good width across the backskull, small ears, and a dark, expressive eye. He has a decent length of neck and a firm topline, though he did lose it at times today on the move. His chest is well let down, slightly shorter coupled, finished with a thick carrot tail. Presented in a harsh double coat and thick pelt.
2. Pearson, Rexlands Mistle Thrush
At just 6 months old, this grizzle puppy understandably concedes in maturity to the winner. He is slightly more refined and possesses finer bone. He has an appealing overall stamp and simply needs time to mature. His head is developing well, featuring a lovely dark eye and a kind yet keen expression. He shows sufficient depth for his age and is easily spanned, though he falls away slightly at the croup. He moves happily and is presented in a good coat.

1. Houlder, Furiation Blue At Theobroma - BPD, BPIS
Promising B&T puppy, just 10 months old, and showing like an old pro. Liked his workmanlike outline and balanced proportions, complemented by a nicely balanced head with strength in the foreface and a dark, inquisitive eye. His neck is of good length, flowing seamlessly into a well-held topline. Displays the desired narrowness along with depth to the brisket. Liked his hindquarters, with good width of thigh and well-let-down hocks. Well presented in a harsh jacket. Though he still needs a little more time to settle into his front movement, he is true from behind and shows drives in profile. – Please to award him BPD & BPIS
2. Tomlinson, Fairhambrook King Solomon
This keen, energetic 9-month-old grizzle dog is of a different stamp than the winner, being a bit more up on the leg and shorter coupled. He has a pleasing, masculine head with a correct scissor bite, and his dark eyes convey an alert, attentive expression. His moderate neck flows smoothly into a firm topline that continues into a thick carrot tail. He stands on well-boned limbs with tight feet. Although his coat lacks the texture of the winner’s today, and he was a little excitable on the move, he demonstrated good drive from his hindquarters.

1. Tomlinson, Fairhambrook The Tyler
Smart 14-month-old grizzle dog showing good balance and proportions, with a flowing, workmanlike outline free from exaggeration. He has moderate width to the backskull, a short, strong foreface, and a dark, expressive eye, though he was not using his ears to advantage today. His neck is of good length, leading to a firm topline and a thick carrot tail. He shows correct width in front, is easy to span, and stands on straight forelegs with small, tight feet. His hindquarters are well developed, with good width of thigh and good muscle tone, with a decent coat texture. He moved out well in profile.
2. Masefield, Dejurra Invisible Sun
This 10-month-old grizzle dog presents an appealing overall shape when stacked. His head is well balanced, with moderate width to the backskull, well-placed small ears, and strength in the short foreface. He is narrow throughout, easy to span, with a well let-down chest and ribs carried well back. His rear movement is true and driving, though his front was slightly untidy today. Presented in a harsh-textured coat.

2. Poundall, Blue Colinton
18-month-old dog who has a lovely, happy nature with a strong, masculine head, a kind, dark eye and good muzzle strength. His strong neck flows into a firm, well-held topline. He stands on well-boned limbs, though I would prefer slightly tighter feet. Moved OK and presented with a harsh double coat and a thick pelt.

1. Richardson, Staynorwood Nightcap
Grizzle dog, approaching two years old, certainly looks the part and has much to admire. He stands out for his overall workmanlike balance, nice size, and masculinity. His outline flows, unexaggerated and functional. He has a pleasing head with a dark eye, correct bite, and keen expression. His neck is of good length, leading into a firm, well-held topline and tail set. The chest is well let down, with the right amount of spring to the ribcage. His strong hindquarters have a good width of thigh. He moved out cleanly in all directions, though today he seemed to lack the drive of the top winners.
2. Dawson & Speake, Haystoun Perfect Storm
Full of character, this 2-year-old grizzle dog presents a clean, shapely silhouette when standing. He is a little more strongly built than the winner and not quite as easy to span, but I liked his overall proportions and type. His head is appealing, with a good bite and dark, inquisitive eyes. He is deep in the brisket, holds a firm topline, and has racy quarters. Today, however, his front action was not as tidy on the move.

1. Baxter, Mysulan Byards Legend JW
There is much to commend in this grizzle dog, who is approaching three years of age. He has lovely bodylines and good overall balance. I liked his size, substance, and masculinity. His head is appealing, with balanced proportions, a strong foreface, well-set ears, and dark eyes that show a keen, alert expression. His neck blends smoothly into a firm topline, finishing with a well-set tail. He has clean, straight front legs and tight feet, displaying the desired narrowness and easy to span. His racy quarters have good width of thigh, and he moves well in all directions. Presented in a good textured coat, he was in the mix for higher awards.
2. McKay, Redesholt Han Solo
A most appealing grizzle dog, this confident three-year-old is typical in outline—an unexaggerated and functional terrier. He possesses a balanced head shape, correct scissor bite, and dark, keen eyes. His neck is of good length and flows seamlessly into a firm, well-held topline, falling away slightly at the croup, finishing with a lovely, thick carrot tail. He is deep in brisket, narrow throughout, and easily spanned. Although a little distracted on the move today, which made his front action slightly untidy, he nonetheless showed good drive from the rear.

1. Mcpherson, CH Brumberhill Bit O’Blarney JW - BIS, BD
This top-quality, workmanlike 2-year-old B&T dog presents a shapely yet functional outline, with each part flowing seamlessly into the next and nothing overdone. Loved his overall size and masculinity. He has an appealing head with good width to the backskull, a short, strong muzzle, a correct scissor bite, and large teeth. His dark eyes convey a keen yet gentle expression. A clean, well-proportioned neck leads smoothly into a firm, well-held topline. He displays the desired narrowness throughout, making him easy to span, with ribs carried well back. His moderate hindquarters show good width of thigh, which he uses effectively to drive around the ring, demonstrating reach in front and maintaining his outline. Presentation is first-class, with a thick pelt and harsh jacket. Delighted to award him BD, going all the way to take the top spot - BIS
2. Bullen, Fevstone Cinderella Man
Well put together 2-year-old B&T dog, built on slightly larger lines than the winner. He has an attractive head with moderate backskull width, a short, strong foreface, and a correct scissor bite with large teeth. His neck is of good length, leading into a deep brisket, well-boned limbs, and tight, small feet. Today, he was slightly losing his topline. He has racy hindquarters with low-set hocks and was shown in a harsh, quality double coat. He moved with drive, though not quite the winner’s precision.

1. McKay, Ch Achouffe McKay's Fable of Redesholt - RBIS, RBD, BVD, BVIS
7-year-old grizzle dog who is the consummate showman, looking an absolute picture on the stack and not disappointing on the move. He is built on a slightly larger frame, but remains exceptionally balanced and true to type. Having a handsome head with good width of skull, neat, small ears that frame his face, and dark, intelligent eyes. His strong muzzle houses a scissor bite and good-sized teeth. He displays a clean front and stands on straight forelegs with neat, tight feet. Narrow throughout, he shows depth to the brisket, a touch more spring to the ribcage, with the ribs carried well back. His firm topline is maintained both standing and moving, complemented by a lovely carrot tail. On the move, he truly excels, displaying clean, true action. He is presented in excellent condition, with a good pelt and a harsh jacket. Pleased to award him RBD, RBIS & BVIS
2. Baxter, Mysulan Going Solo JW VW
Wow, it's hard to believe this B&T dog is 10 1/2 years old—what an ambassador for the breed. His keen and alert demeanour is a pleasure to see. When standing, he presents a very nice outline, with good type and balance. His expression is adorable, with a smattering of grey that only enhances it, and his dark eyes show clear adoration for his handler. He has good, straight front forelegs, and his ribcage shows a narrow, correct spring that was easily spannable. He maintains a firm topline and has racy hindquarters with good thigh width. He moved out well, though today he couldn't quite match the winner's accuracy. He was shown in super condition, with a harsh jacket.

1. Renaut, Rentarka Retained Asset - BPB & RBPIS
A delightful youngster at just 6 months and a day, this grizzle bitch is still coming together but possesses all the essentials, time will only enhance her qualities. She has a pleasing shape with a feminine head, neat ears, and expressive dark eyes. Her neck flows smoothly into a firm topline, held steadily whether stacked or on the move. Her chest reaches the elbow, and her ribcage has the correct spring, giving her a narrowness that is easily spannable. Showing drive on the move, but carrying her tail a fraction higher. Shown in a harsh-textured jacket and thick pelt. Delighted to award her BPB and RBPIS
PB (4 2)
1. Green, Terabyte Rollermania
10-month-old grizzle bitch presents a balanced outline, with a lovely flow through her neck and topline, which was held firm both when standing and on the move. She has a feminine head with well-placed ears, a dark eye, and strength in the muzzle. She also shows good length of neck and a well-let-down chest, with the desired narrow front and ribs carried well back. Though not at her best coat-wise today. Her front action is a touch untidy, but she demonstrates lovely, true driving action from the rear.
2. Pitt, Dejurra Nocte Solis
10-month-old grizzle bitch possesses an appealing overall shape and size, very feminine. I liked her head, which showed good balance and proportions, with ample skull width and strength through the muzzle. She has a pleasing length of neck that flows into a firm topline. Her tail is slightly longer and was carried a touch high on the move. I preferred her coat to the winner's, appreciating its harsh texture. However, she was somewhat erratic on the move in this class.

1. Dean & Regeer, British Cooper Ziam Lawson At Cedarhill (Imp Nld) - RBB
Attentive and full of spirit, 13-month-old bitch who shows herself off to advantage. Standing, she displays a lovely, feminine silhouette of ideal size, enhanced by a harsh double coat and thick pelt. Her head is well balanced, with good width of backskull, a strong, short muzzle, and a correct scissor bite. She has a good length of neck and the right amount of forechest and bone. Her brisket is well let down, with ribs that are spannable and carried well back. While her topline is not quite as firm today at times in profile as the Limit bitch, her racy quarters and low-set hocks enable her to drive powerfully around the ring. RBB

1. Dixon, Summer Venture Grace
Previously unplaced in a strong junior bitch class. She is one who needs to be watched on the move, as she really comes together, and now that she is a little more settled, she showed off her virtues. Handler just needs to get to grips with her when standing. Her outline is balanced and unexaggerated. Feminine head, with neat ears and a dark eye, and good bite. She has nice bone and a straight front. The chest is well let down and spannable. Liked her hindquarters; they are racy but with a good width of thigh. Coat a little softer today. Moved well once settled
