Lancashire Heelers

Puppy (0,0)

Junior (2,1)

1. Mrs Hughes - Ribblespride Kruger

12-month-old B&T dog, recently out of puppyhood, presents a pleasing outline when standing. Loved his happy and outgoing nature, as well as his overall size, substance, and masculinity. He has a well-shaped head with a flat skull, using his ears and a good bite. His strong neck flows into a firm, well-held topline, though I would prefer a slightly better tail carriage. He has good depth to the brisket and well-sprung ribs. His strong hindquarters show parallel movement behind with plenty of drive.

Post Graduate (3,0)

1. Mr & Mrs Lawrence - Foveaux China Girl JW

16-month-old B&T bitch, full of personality and eager to show herself to advantage. When standing, she displays excellent overall balance and pleasing proportions. She has a feminine head with a flat skull, erect ears, and lovely, dark, expressive eyes. There is good depth and spring to her ribcage, and she stands on well-boned limbs. Occasionally today, she lost some firmness in her topline, but she quickly regained it, finishing with a well-set and well-carried tail. On the move, she demonstrates ample reach and drive.

2. Mr & Mrs Lagonegro - Lankeela Kristi And Eeyore

4-year-old L&T dog with impressive overall size and substance, displaying unmistakable masculinity. He has a well-proportioned head with good length to the foreface, though he was not making the most of his ears today. His eyes are kind and well-toned. He possesses a strong, well-proportioned neck of good length, complemented by lovely depth to the brisket and a well-developed ribcage. Although not quite as clean in front as the winner and a little down in the pasterns, he has powerful hindquarters with excellent width of thigh, which he used to drive confidently around the ring.

3. Mrs Turnbull - Droversrock Tigers Eye

Limit (2,1)

1. Mr & Mrs Lawrence - Brinscall Moors Bertie

Keen and alert 8-year-old B&T dog, showing adoration for his handler. Masculine head, with a flat skull, ears that show lift and tip over, and lovely dark eyes. Well developed in the brisket with a good forechest, he stands on well-boned limbs, though his feet turn out a touch more than ideal. He maintains a firm topline with a good, ever-wagging tail carriage. Strong, wide quarters enable him to move out with ease.

Open (2,0)

1. Mr & Mrs Lawrence - Hoscar Ellis’s Eddie ShCEx

Alert and sturdy 7-year-old B&T dog who presented a pleasing outline when stacked. He stood out for his excellent proportions and balanced ratios. Masculine throughout, with notable substance. His head is distinctly masculine, featuring a flat skull, parallel planes, well-held erect ears, and dark almond-shaped eyes. His chest is well let down, with a good fill-in of forechest. He stands on well-boned limbs with small, tight feet. His ribs are well sprung and carried well back, complemented by a short loin. Although lacking a little coat today, its texture remains harsh. A happy and sound mover. BOB

2. Mrs Hughes - Poolheywood Barney JW

Smart 3-year-old B&T dog who presented himself with confidence and made his presence known. He has a masculine head with a flat skull, erect ears, and slightly lighter eyes. His strong, well-proportioned neck flows smoothly into a firm, well-held topline, with a loin just a fraction longer. He has a good tail set and carriage. Well-developed throughout the body, he was presented in a super-muscular condition with a harsh jacket.

Chihuahua (Smooth Coat)

What a shame that there was a breed club show on the same day

Puppy (3,2)

1. Mrs Foster - Bluchilli Wild Flower For Tayjen

Just 12 months old today, this chocolate bitch displayed a charming cheekiness and presented herself with confidence. She has a shapely outline. Her head is pretty, with a pleasing skull shape and large, dark, round eyes, her muzzle is a little short. The neck is of good length, flowing smoothly into a firm topline and a well-set tail. Her brisket is well-developed, and she moves out with brisk, purposeful action. BP

Junior (3,2)

1. Miss Fellone - Frapachi Once Upon A Dream (IKC)

Keen and alert 13-month-old fawn & white dog, maturing nicely along the right lines. He has a well-shaped head with large flaring ears and round, dark eyes. His neck is of good length, leading to a nicely filled forechest and sufficient depth. He holds a firm topline with a well-set and carried tail. Moved briskly and with drive, just needing to finish tightening both fore and aft.

1. Miss Entwistle - Stadmeyer Jasmine Dorenty

Confident and stylish 2-year-old blue fawn bitch who impressed with her overall balance and proportions. She combines substance with femininity and daintiness. Her head is pretty, featuring an apple-domed skull, the right amount of muzzle, lovely large dark round eyes, and large flaring ears. Her neck flows smoothly into a firm and well-held topline. She has good depth of brisket and a nicely developed forechest. She stands with her legs well underneath her and displays strong quarters. Moved positively with a brisk, purposeful side gait. BOB

2. Mrs Wills - Paulwilchi Polyst Irene

2-year-old black & tan bitch, exuding femininity and daintiness. She has a pretty, well-balanced head with lovely large flaring ears and large, dark eyes full of keen expression. Her neck is of good length, flowing smoothly into a well-held, firm topline. The chest is well let down, with ribs carried well back and balanced angulation both fore and aft. While her movement was not quite that of the winner today, she nonetheless displayed a brisk, lively gait.

3. Fellone & Priestley - Emarachis Ninja

Limit (1,1)

Open Dog (1,0)

1. Mr Stading - Toltechi’s Dante Le Poete JW

Very smart 2-year-old tri dog who strutted into the ring as if he owned it. He presents a pleasing profile when standing, and initially, I thought he would be my winner. Unfortunately, he did not fully settle in his movement today. He has a masculine head with a typical apple dome, flaring ears, and dark eyes that reveal a hint of mischief. His neck flows smoothly into a firm topline, complemented by a well-set and carried sickle tail. He displays balanced angulation both fore and aft, with good depth to the brisket. He also shares a lovely rapport with his handler.

Open Bitch (2,2)

Chihuahua (Long Coat)

Puppy (3,0)

1. Miss Gilling - Chantico Black Diamond Of Talocan (IKC)

8-month-old black & white bitch, very attentive to her handler and brimming with a saucy, outgoing nature. She won this class for her accurate movement. Her head is pretty, with good width between the ears, which are well placed and flaring. Large, dark, round eyes exuding a cheeky expression, with a sufficient length of muzzle. Developing nicely through the body, she is slightly longer, showing depth and a pleasing forechest. She holds a firm, level topline both when standing and moving, complemented by a well-carried sickle tail. Her profile gait is brisk and lively. BP

2. Miss Fellone - French Connection Right Royal Of Emarachis (IMP Cze)

A very promising 6-month-old sable dog with many admirable qualities, though not quite as tidy on the move as today’s winner. I particularly liked his overall balance and proportions—dainty yet masculine. He has an attractive head and expression, highlighted by large, dark, round eyes. There is a lovely flow from neck to topline, which he holds firm to a sickle tail. He already shows good depth for his age and just needs time to tighten up in his rear action.

3. Ms Czyz - Flaming Lamborghini Right Royal (IMP Cze)

Junior (2,0)

1. Miss Gilling - Rubyanlo Cleopatra Of Talocan

This sable bitch, approaching 18 months of age, won the class for her maturity and outline when standing. She creates a pleasing overall picture, displaying both balance and a dainty profile. Her feminine head features an apple-domed skull, a well-proportioned muzzle, large, dark, inquisitive eyes, and large, flaring ears that contribute to her keen and alert expression. She has a good length of neck leading to a firm topline, along with excellent depth of brisket and well-sprung ribs. Her side gait is good, though a touch untidy behind. She was well presented, with a lovely ruff and furnishings.

2. Ms Czyz - Flaming Lamborghini Right Royal (IMP Cze)

At just 6 months old, this black & tan bitch is a real babe, placed 3rd in the previous class. Initially, a little overawed by the busy, noisy hall, but she quickly gained confidence. She shows pleasing body lines and proportions, appearing both dainty and feminine. Her lovely, cheeky expression is complemented by a good length of neck leading to a firm topline and well-set tail. Her chest is already down to the elbow, and she is developing nicely in the forechest. She just needs time to tighten up on the move.

Post Graduate (5,1)

1. Miss Gilling - Rubyanlo Tommy Hilfiger Of Talocan JW

An eye-catching 2-year-old sable dog, full of fun and mischief. He is typical in outline and construction, dainty yet masculine. His saucy expression is highlighted by an apple-domed skull, well-defined stop, and good length of muzzle, with large, dark, round eyes sparkling with spirit and mischief. He has a good length of neck, well-filled forechest and holds a firm, level topline both standing and on the move. His strong, wide hindquarters enable him to drive brisky around the ring, and he is clean in both front and rear action.

2. Miss Fellone - Emarachis Black Beauty

A confident and cheeky 2-year-old black & tan bitch who shows herself to great advantage. I thought she was an ideal size, with just the right amount of substance and bone, and presented a balanced outline when stacked. Her large, dark eyes give her an endearing expression. She holds a firm, level topline both standing and on the move. Her chest is well developed with a good spring of rib. While her rear movement was not as strong as today’s winner, she was beautifully presented in a soft, flat coat.

3. Miss Fellone - Emarachis Slay The Day

Limit (3,0)

1. Fellone & Priestley - Campanilachi Marshmallow Of Emarachis

This 2-year-old cream dog won the class today on the strength of his movement. I admired his overall size, substance, and masculinity. He has a balanced head with an apple-domed skull, well-defined stop, and good length of muzzle, complemented by large, round, toning eyes. Well developed throughout the body, he holds his topline firmly and sports a heavy ruff with a nicely plumed tail. Moving, he has a clean and purposeful action while maintaining his outline.

2. Miss Entwistle - Dorenty Fancy That JW

The silhouette of this 7-year-old fawn sable bitch is both typical and dainty. She is keen and expressive, with large, well-used flaring ears and big, dark, round eyes that give her a saucy look. She maintains her topline both when stood and on the move. Her chest is well let down, though not quite the forechest of the winner. Her side gait is good, but today she was a little untidy behind.

3. Mrs Biggs - Blue Chilli Gracie Lou

Open Dog ( 1,0)

1. Mrs Wills - Dorentys Chuckleberry Fin

This spirited and full of attitude 4-year-old fawn & white dog put on a good performance, combining daintiness with masculinity and a balanced, shapely outline. His head and expression are appealing, enhanced by lovely, large, flaring ears and dark, round eyes. He has a good length of neck that flows smoothly into a firm topline and a well-carried tail. His ribcage shows enough depth and spring, complemented by nicely angulated hindquarters. While not as settled on the move coming and going, he shows a lovely, brisk side gait. Today he was in his underwear, lacking some furnishings.

Open Bitch (1,0)

1. Miss Entistle - Ch Dorenty Textututango

This super cream bitch, just approaching two years of age, is truly lovely. She combines a shapely silhouette with the right amount of substance in a neat, dainty package. Exceptionally expressive and full of herself, she shows herself off with confidence and has a natural, unexaggerated balance. Her head is feminine, complete with a typical saucy expression. The neck is of good length, flowing seamlessly into a firm, level topline and finished with a nicely plumed sickle tail.
