West Lothian Canine Society

This is the critique for West Lothian Canine Society open show on 26 April 2026

Held at Scottish National Equestrian Centre, Oatridge, Ecclesmachan.

I’d like to thank the committee for a lovely well run show. Thanks, also goes to my Steward for keeping the classes going smoothly. I was delighted to be asked to be the judge for the working group. Loved my day. Temperaments were good. Dogs were well presented.

Thanks also goes to the exhibitors who gave me the opportunity to judge their dogs. It was a absolute pleasure.

Similar comments to number 1 for this girl. Nothing much to separate them. On another day they could quite easily change places. Yes, you can see maturity in this girl. She is also slightly longer in body than one. I just preferred the stronger movement on the day to 1st place.

Well proportioned shoulders and strong topline. Correct for age.
