My thanks to all exhibitors for allowing me the pleasure of judging their dogs, to the Committee for inviting me & especially to my stewards Sarah, Sheridan & Susan for working so hard to get us through the big entry.

Chihuahua (L/C) P (1,0) 1st McGrath’s Maisenoaks First Edition 9m puppy who moved out really well. Shapely body, straight front & balanced angulation both ends. Enough neck. Domed skull, round eyes, large ears well set & used. Shown in good coat. BP RBOB & pleased to see he won the Toy puppy group

O (1,0) 1st Wilcox’s Amtula Absolutely Fabulous 17m old black/tan & mature for her age. Not overly confident as yet. Appealing head with round eyes, short muzzle & domed skull. Well laid shoulders, level topline to high set tail. Moved with drive BOB

Chihuahua (S/C) SY (2,0) 1st Murray’s Copymear Such A Charm At Davixity Pretty cream b just 12m old. Skull is domed, well set & used ears, round eyes. Turns feet out slightly. Level topline, tail high set & well carried. Moved with drive. RBOB

2nd Wilcox’s Amtula Murder She Wrote Of correct type with feminine expression from her large eyes & ears. Unfortunately not happy in the ring so unable to assess

O (1,0) 1st Murray’s Davixity The Evangalist 16m cream b appeals for type & outline. Slight arch to neck. Round skull, short muzzle, defined stop. Ears are large & well set, not always used. Balanced angulation front & rear. Moved around the ring with drive BOB

Griffon Bruxellois P (2,0) 1st Catling’s Zilcan Hip Hop R/C 11m d of smaller type. Square in outline. Dark eyes, small ears, enough stop. Wide muzzle. Slight arch to neck, high set tail. Level topline when relaxed & on the move, roached when handler stacks him. Preferred his movement to 2nd place. Dog & handler need a little more confidence. BP

2nd Swinge’s Balthazar Centrefold R/C 9m b of larger type. Head is large & round, dark eyes, high set ears. Cobby body, deep chest & short back. Lovely temperament. Moved with drive, not as clean in front movement as 1st

SY 1st McGill’s Shevilan Sherbert For Bjulaseta R/C b with square outline & level topline. Tail could be a touch higher set. Deep chest, arch to neck. Pretty head, dark eyes, small ears, enough chin. Presented in lovely coat & condition, drove around the ring to BOB

2nd Swinge’s Balthazar There She Goes R/C litter sister to 2nd in P & many of the same comments apply. Very cobby outline & level back. I would prefer straighter front. Lovely temperament. Moved out well

L (1,0) 1st McGill’s Bjulaseta Honey Spring S/C b 16m has a pretty head with feminine monkey expression. Small ears & eyes well set. Correct square shape with high set tail. Straight front, chest is wide & deep. Angulated rearquarters. Sound on the move RBOB

O (4,2) 1st McGill’s Bjulaseta Honey Spring repeat

2nd Swinge’s Ch Balthazar Supersonic ShCEx Mature R/C 6 year old d, bigger type. Cobby & balanced outline. Large head with short muzzle. Round, dark eyes, small high set ears. Masculine expression. Harsh coat. Moved with drive.

Papillon SY (3,1) 1st Holmes’ Summerjades Fire Cracker Lovely head on this masculine d. Round eyes, large ears with plenty of fringing. Enough neck, well laid shoulders. Appeals for size & shape. Level topline held on the move, high set tail carried over back. BOB

2nd Waller & Maskell’s Baillion Black Is Back With Lilnrose Striking b/w just 12m old. Slightly bigger than winner, he has a lovely flowing coat. Appealing expression from dark eyes & big ears. Decent front assembly. He wouldn’t settle & his movement was erratic.

L (1,0) 1st Holmes’ Ksper Margenis At Summerjade (Imp LTU) Another pleasing male, slightly round skull, dark eyes, large fringed ears which are well used. Straight in front, long enough body with plenty of rib. Tail high set & correctly carried. Silky coat in great condition. Moved well RBOB

Russian Toy P (1,0) 1st Wakefield’s Lingkiss Love Me Anyway At Shishalee 10m d with square outline. Skull round, big eyes & ears, enough stop. Not yet very confident, he didn’t always use his ears. Straight in front, neat feet. Chest developing well. Enough angulation front & rear. Moved well BP & RBOB

L (3,0) 1st Welch’s Beaconsfylde Antlia Of Fennyfare 2yr d with square outline, he looked lovely stacked. Small head with masculine expression, short muzzle, round eyes. Ears are large, well set & used. Long neck, straight front to small feet. Tail was correctly carried. Smart on the move. I would prefer him to carry a touch more bodyweight. Presented in good coat BOB

2nd Wakefield’s Shishalee’s Glamour Girl 2yr b with nice head & expression, high set ears, big eyes. Enough neck, straight in front, neat feet. Tail correctly carried. Movement brisk, I preferred the front movement of 1st

3rd Hobbs’ Beaconsfylde Andromeda

O (3,1) 1st Ollarena’s Yasnaja At Shishalee 4yr b typy & balanced, she is square in outline. Feminine expression from her dark eyes & well placed ears, well defined stop. Straight front, small feet, long neck. Level topline, moderate rear angulation. Tail well carried. Moved well. Carrying a little too much weight today.

2nd Hobbs’ Beaconsfylde Apus 2yr b with a lovely head & expression. Large dark eyes, large fringed ears. Long neck. I preferred the front construction & movement of 1st

Chow Chow O (0,1) 1st Denby’s Xingbao Cotton Candy 7yr b who doesn’t look like a Veteran. Compact outline & well balanced. Broad skull, dark eyes, small ears well set giving pleasing expression. Correct dentition & black tongue/mouth. Arched neck, well laid shoulders, deep chest. Neat feet & straight front. Level topline held on the move. Presented in good coat & condition BOB G4

Dalmatian L (2,0) 1st Read’s Makificate Wymondham Queen Mature b with balanced & elegant outline. Feminine expression, flat in skull with enough width. Well placed ears. Deep chest, level topline. Lacks a little in angulation front & rear. Excellent feet. Moved with rear drive. RBOB

2nd Penn’s Dalarisa Spring In Her Step JW Feminine b with well set ears & eyes. Enough neck, deep chest, level topline. Moved well, a touch close behind. Unhappy being handled.

O (1,0) 1st Penn’s Dalfellin Agape At Dalarisa 5yr b with elegant outline. Feminine head & expression, broad skull, dark eyes, correctly set ears. Enough neck into well laid shoulders, level topline. Deep in chest, well sprung ribs. Neat feet. Presented in gleaming condition, she moved with drive if a tad close behind BOB

Japanese Akita Inu SY (2,1) 1st O’Neill Clark & Pearson Tsoyu Wakamizu Go Anshee Well proportioned b with shapely outline. Dark eyes obliquely set, small, well set & used ears, developed cheeks giving feminine expression. Moderate angulation front & rear, arched neck, level topline. Tail is high set & well carried. Sound on the move RBOB

 L (2,0) 1st Kubile’s Kiseki Go Matsuoka For Kuratora (Imp LTU) Balanced outline & well boned all through. Appealing head & expression with developed cheeks & broad skull. Thick neck, straight front, tight feet, level topline to high set tail. Muscled rearquarters. Well presented coat & in hard condition. Movement could strengthen.

2nd Davis’ Kimetsu Ayuki Kori Go At Kasaishiro Appealing expression from her small dark eyes, small ears which are well set & broad skull. Deep chest, well sprung ribs. Neat feet. High set tail, well carried. Presented in good coat & condition. Moved out around the ring, needs to strengthen in pasterns.

O (2,0) 1st Davis’ Ryuukita Burning Talisman At Kasaishiro (IKC) Mature & masculine, in muscular condition. Broad skull with small obliquely set eyes & small ears, developed cheeks. Straight front with tight feet, level topline with high set tail correctly carried. Deep chest. Well boned all through. Sound, free mover, presented in good coat BOB

2nd Kubile’s Kiseki Go Matsuoka For Kuratora (Imp LTU) repeat

Lhasa Apso P (1,0) 1st Duff & Hill-Lonergan’s Kalizmar Du For Us Avec Barnlou Just 6m old & such a promising baby, he has all the essentials. Shapely body, appealing head & expression, dark round eyes, correct dentition. Arched neck, well laid shoulders, level topline to high set tail. Already collected on the move, I will watch his progress with interest BP PG4

O (2,0) 1st Free’s Kalizmar Million Moons Over Marpori A very eye catching 4yr b presented in excellent condition with long straight coat. Beautiful head with feminine expression, dark eyes. Enough stop, well proportioned muzzle, black nose leather. Arched neck, shoulders laid back, topline level to high set tail which is correctly carried. Balanced outline, she moved out freely holding her topline. BOB & I was pleased to award her G1

2nd Duff & Hill-Lonergan’s Jodak’s Party All Night With Barnlou ShCEx Another pleasing b of 4yr, not quite the coat nor outline as 1st. Feminine head, dark eyes, well feathered ears. Well angulated front & rear, level topline to tail which is high set & carried over back. Moved well RBOB

Miniature Schnauzer P (1,0) 1st Parker McDonald & Uryu’s Risepark Shining Star Sturdy 11m b who appeals for type. Long head with enough stop, oval eyes & well set ears. Long neck, shoulders laid back, straight front to neat feet. Topline level, chest developing well, tail set high. Balanced outline. Moved out well. Presented in well prepared harsh coat. BP RBOB PG2

SY (1,0) 1st Johnson’s Marnimica Witch Hunta 10m d of pleasing type & shape, in very good condition. Masculine head with appealing expression from his oval eyes & well set ears. Strong muzzle. Enough neck, sloping topline, high set tail. Well angulated front, round feet. Enjoyed sniffing which affected his movement.

L (1,0) 1st Johnson’s Marnimica Seven Wonders Mature 3yr d who was well presented with harsh coat. Short back, deep in chest, enough neck. Correct head proportions & masculine expression, oval eyes & high set ears. Pleasing shape when stacked. Moved with drive but without enthusiasm

O (1,0) 1st Parker Saunders & McDonald’s Risepark First Stage JW ShCEx OSW Impressive male 2yr old of correct size with appealing outline. Long head with strong muzzle, dark oval eyes & high set ears. Enough length to neck, correct front assembly, tight feet, well muscled rear. Harsh coat presented to perfection. Moves with reach & drive maintaining his topline. Well handled to BOB G3

Tibetan Spaniel L (3,1) 1st Neale’s Saxtead Toot Sweet At Timarnea 4yr old b of nice size. Appealing expression, small head with slight dome, dark mask. Enough stop. Dark oval eyes & feathered ears, well set. Muzzle is blunt with chin & is padded. Short neck, well laid shoulders, hare feet, level topline to high set tail. Coat in lovely condition. Sound on the move with better rear action than 2nd RBOB

 2nd Minto’s Anacan Don’t Stop Me Now Small 3yr b with balanced outline. Ears high set, dark eyes, enough chin. Well angulated shoulders, decent rib, moderate rear angles. Correct hare feet. Tail set & carried correctly. I preferred the rear movement of 1st

O (4,2) 1st Collett’s Velrok Ringing Gold JW ShCEx OSW Masculine expression on this 4yr d, dark mask, small head with wide domed skull, muzzle is blunt with depth of chin & adequate padding. Feathered ears are well set, oval eyes. Neck quite short, shoulders well angulated, bowed legs & hare feet. Balanced outline & positive mover BOB 

2nd Minto’s Anacan Summer Breeze Smaller type of correct shape. Dark eyes, blunt muzzle, ears a touch low set, good dentition. Shoulders laid back, decent rib. Moved out well. I preferred the expression & front movement of 1st

AVNSC Utility P (2,0) 1st Barrell’s Shenleyvale Behind Orange Eyes (Shih Tzu) 11m b of good breed type. Balanced outline, she holds her shape on the move. Broad head with dark eyes, correct dentition, ears low set, feminine & typical expression. Chest developing, arch to neck, level topline to high set tail. Coat has texture & was well presented. Moved with drive showing her pads. BP AVNSCU Pleased to award her PG1

2nd Manners & Scales Roopec Oh Emm Gee (NBT) Schipperke Shapely b 9m old. Beautiful head with foxy expression, erect ears that are well used. Short neck, well laid shoulders & level topline, rounded rump to low set tail. Distracted on the move.

SY (2,1) 1st Stafford’s Albionspitz Whiskey In A Jar (Eurasier) Fawn with b/m, this youngster is quite mature for her age. Presented in good coat & condition, she has a well shaped head with black mask. Arch to neck, straight in front, level topline & well set & carried tail. Moved out well to take Res BAVNSCU

L (1,0) 1st Knox’s Wyldette Lilith Never Eve JW (Shar Pei) Red B of correct shape & balance with pleasing head & expression. Clear, dark eyes, small ears are well set & carried, correct mouth. Neat feet, straight front, level topline. Enough rear angulation. Sound mover. 

O (1,0) Barrell’s Chanikos My Mystery Dream Via Javerda JW (Shih Tzu) I have judged this dog previously, he is getting better all the time as he matures. Large dark eyes, correctly set in his round head. Muzzle is short & wide, good dentition. Deep chest, shoulders well laid. His topline is level to high set tail which is carried on his back. Balanced all through & moved well showing pads. BAVNSC & G2

AV Imp Register Utility SY (2,0) 1st Allen & Wells’ Yulyeong A Higher Love (Korean Jindo) Pleasing 15m b of correct breed type. Head is wedge shaped, dark eyes, ears well used. I would prefer tighter feet. Neck is long enough, well laid shoulders, chest developing . Muscled & angled rear. Tidier on the move than 2nd RBAVIRU

2nd Allen & Wells’ Yulyeong A Higher Power (Korean Jindo) Litter brother to 1st & many of the same comments apply. He is not carrying as much body. Balanced outline, level topline & well set & carried tail. Masculine expression, wedge shaped head, ears well used. Moved a touch close behind 

O (3,1) 1st Cunningham’s Cracker Of Yulyeong (Imp KOR) (Korean Jindo) Impressive 7yr d in very good condition. Wedge shaped head with dark eyes & well used ears, defined stop, masculine expression. Shoulders laid back, straight front to neat feet. Level topline, tail correctly carried. Rear is well muscled, sound mover keeping his shape BAVIRU

Correct cobby outline, foxy expression, broad skull & erect ears well set. Dark eyes. Shoulders well laid, chest deep. Displays the required coat patterning. So sound on the move. BV

2nd Haywood’s Leyenda’s Bonnie Gold (French Bulldog) Fawn with black mask, just 13 months old & mature in body. Square head with padded muzzle. Ears are correctly set & well used, eyes dark enough. Neck of adequate length. Enough angulation front & rear, topline is quite level. I would prefer a longer tail. Moved well.

O (9,8) 1st Quinn’s Chareve’s Had To Be You (French Bulldog) Brindle b with lovely temperament. Square head with broad muzzle & upsweep. Ears well set & used, dark eyes. Straight front, pasterns could be stronger, deep chest. I would prefer more rise in topline & tail is a touch high set. Sound mover

Best Puppy In Show Cooke & Hammond’s Seasham Crazy Love (GSP) Appealing for size & type, of correct shape with typical head & expression. She showed like a veteran even though only 6 months old. Such a sound mover. I was delighted to award her top spot from a strong line up.

Reserve Best Puppy In Show Page’s Winflash Feather Boa (Norwich Terrier) 7 months old & another promising youngster of excellent type. Balanced outline & appealing head. Moved well.  

AV Special Beginner D (10,3) 1st Wallace Horne’s Gemolli Dream Come True At Pashiquo (Italian Greyhound) Promising d 6m of elegant shape. Long head with slight stop, big ears, dark eyes. Long neck to well laid shoulders, rise to topline, deep chest. Strong pasterns & hare feet. Lovely soft coat. Excellent on the move

2nd Chaplain’s Aescwine Cor Blimey (Swedish Vallhund) Lovely temperament on this 2yr d. Wedge shaped head with enough stop, dark eyes. Long neck, level topline, deep chest. Well muscled rear drove him around the ring.

AV Special Beginner B (33,18) 1st Wynne-Evans’ Droveborough One Love (English Setter) Tri b 17m with soft expression, dark eyes & low set ears. Straight front & plenty of forechest. Presented in good coat & condition. She moved out well holding her topline. 

2nd Crosse’s Cairnstorm Lullaby JW (Irish Wolfhound) Impressive b of good size. Long head & muzzle, dark eyes & small ears. Long arched neck, deep chest, level topline. Big feet. Tail is long. Sound on the move

3rd Kent’s Laurellakes Mon Amour At Merryvista (Spaniel(Cocker))
