EARLY OPEN STAKES (DAY 2) (23, 15)

1. Parker, Saunders & McDonald’s Risepark First Stage (Miniature Schnauzer). Very smart P/S of twenty-one months, square in outline, masculine head with dark eyes and well set ears, good neck into very slightly sloping topline which he held firm on the move, good front and well sprung ribs, enough hind angulation and moved with reach and drive, turned out to perfection with a harsh topcoat and handled to advantage.

2. Fisher & Fisher’s Shulian San Angelo Star At Poppykins OSW ShCEx JW (Chow Chow). Well built four year old red male, balanced head with good width of muzzle, level topline, well off for bone, enough angulation, in superb coat and condition and moved with a steady action.

3. Moore’s Ch Unstoppable Alpiu Slenis To Jaxtzu JW ShCEx OSW (Imp LTU) (Shih Tzu).

1. Bakewell’s Estet Classic Sherwood Adventures (Imp EST). Brindle male, just a week off his first birthday, well up to size, still raw and has the frame to fill but time is on his side, long lean head, underjaw needs to develop, well placed ears and dark eyes, good length of neck, a little upright in shoulder, shapely body with good tuck up, well angulated behind and covers the ground well with an easy stride, shown in lovely coat and condition. BP.

1. Sawyer’s Inchydoney Memories Une Virgin Mary Avec Stonelow (Imp FRA) JW ShCEx OSW. Elegant two year old fawn bitch, strong but feminine head with a lovely expression, neat rose ears, well arched neck into a good topline, balanced throughout and well angulated, feet could be a tad tighter, moved with a ground covering gait. BOB.

1. Bakewell & Scoles’ Nutts Corner. This seven year old black bitch is an old favourite of mine, still showing an excellent outline and moving with style, she has a pretty head and enough angulation, well proportioned for her job, stands over good ground on tight feet and won this class on her excellent movement taking a well deserved RBOB.

2. Prince’s Westview Puddles. Seven year old brindle bitch, feminine head with dark eyes giving a lovely expression, good front and decent topline, enough angulation and moved with a steady gait, shown in lovely condition.

1. Cole’s Burglade Bow And Arrow For Whipway. Ten month old blue fawn male, masculine head and well placed and used ears, dark eyes, good front angulation with neat feet, good reach of neck into a decent topline, enough rear angulation, moved well with very little lift, in nice coat and condition. RBOB & BP.

1. Wilson’s Boughton Busy Lizzie For Hamiltonhill. Very pretty almost two year old fawn with white trim, nice for size, pretty head and expression with good underjaw, neat ears, good neck into a shapely outline, well angulated both ends and moved with a ground covering gait, in lovely coat. BOB.

2. Hope’s Flerrow Rydings Romances. Nineteen month old male red brindle particolour, masculine head with dark eyes, long neck, topline tends to slope away, neat feet, well muscled, a tad high stepping on the move.

OD (2, 1)

1. Hope’s Demerlay On A Promise. Five year old male, red fawn with white trim, broad skull, dark eyes, front a tad wide, rather long cast, good angulation front and rear, covers the ground well.
