Thank you to the committee for inviting me to judge at the show, it was a fabulous day with a lovely atmosphere and lovely hospitality.I had a super entry of hounds to judge and was very pleased to see the young Basset Fauve take RBPIS.


Whippet


Puppy (9/3)

1. SAINTHARP ALL IN GOOD TIME BP

6 months B - Promising youngster, presents a balanced outline. Head long and lean with slight stop. Eyes bright with correct rose ears. Correct scissor bite. Neck long and arched. Shoulders well laid back with good space between the blades. Straight forelegs, chest deep enough for age. Well bent stifles standing on nice oval feet. Nice long easy stride with good hold of topline.

2. SAINTHARP A MOMENT IN TIME

6 months D - Another promising youngster I think litter brother to the winner. He was just pipped for first place on movement, 10 was a lot cleaner and true at this stage. Another with correct head proportions good muscular neck with desired arch. Well laid back shoulders. Correct scissor bite. Good straight forelegs and deep chest - slightly more developed than 1 at this stage.

Graduate (9/3)

COBTCO CAPTURE THE LOOK AT REDFOXIA

14 months. Won this class on overall type and cleanest movement. True fore & aft. Good head proportions and correct ears. Neck long with desired arch. Good profile movement with topline held well. Straight forelegs and deep enough in chest. Well bent stifle and oval feet. 

2. FREEHAMLEY MAY BE THE ONE

8 months another with overall nice type and balance, just needs to be a little cleaner coming to. Good head proportions nice ear, correct bite, Neck muscular and shoulders well laid back. Movement in profile pleasing with topline held well.

Limit (7/2)

SAINTHARP CAN'T GET ENOUGH

21 months Slightly longer cast. Nice head with correct slight stop. Rose ears. Neck long well muscled with desired arch. Shoulders well laid back with good width between blades. Forelegs straight and nice deep chest. Feet oval and well arched. Well bent stifle. Won the class on movement which was a lovely easy stride and pleasing to watch in profile.

2. TERVANTY DRAGON SONG AT PALMIK JW

18 months much smaller all through than 1 but still overall pleasing type. True fore & aft, lovely head with correct rose ear, neck muscular, and shoulders laid well back. Forelegs straight, chest deep enough although still to develop a little more. Well bent stifle and good oval feet.

Open (5/2)

CHIPPWHIPP GEORGIE PORGY BOB

4 yrs B - very pleasing profile in stack. Best of heads with slight stop, narrow. Correct rose ears. Neck Muscular long and arched into well laid back shoulders. Nice deep chest and straight in front. Super feet. Well bent stifle. Movement was pleasing true - with desired easy stride throwing the forelegs forward and driving really well from the rear and holding that topline.

2. GALEMIRA’S PANDORA OF DURANRIDGE

Another which was very pleasing on the stack presenting a well balanced dog. Super head with correct ear. Neck muscular. Straight forelegs and deep chest. Well laid back shoulder. Moved out well but not quite the cleaness of 1 today.
