JUNIOR HANDLING 6-11 YEARS (8,5)

1st Abbie Smith - Completed most tasks well with tidy, precise handling. Presentation was good; just needs to focus a little more on finishing the move by placing the dog centrally and lining up neatly. A nice effort, with a bit more polish to come.

2nd Layla Duncan – Handling a Tibetan Spaniel. Missed the return on the movement and at times went between the dog and the judge. Just needs to focus a little more on correct ringcraft—finishing the move by lining the dog up centrally and using the corners to best advantage.

3rd Aliyah Macdonald

JUNIOR HANDLING 12-16 YEARS (8,5)

1st Keira Angus - Persevered well with a difficult dog to handle. Movement patterns were completed well and overall presentation was good. A commendable effort in challenging circumstances. Best Overall Junior Handler.

2nd Chloe Black - Performed very well and did much the same as the winner, just not quite as neat on her lines. A good effort with plenty to like.

3rd Abigail Kirkwood-Emery

1st Dawn Simpson - A pleasing effort overall. Just would benefit from a little more attention to presenting the dog centrally and using the corners a bit more precisely on the move.

2nd Laura Mandleson - A nice performance overall. Would benefit from a little more attention to the dog’s rear placement once the judge has moved them, and from using the corners a bit more effectively on the move.
