Puppy Dog - 1:0

1st - JAMIESONS, KANIX TISWAS AT GLENFINNAN

11-month-old orange and white dog presents a pleasing outline when stacked, showing good muscle and substance. He possesses a masculine, well-defined head, a clean neck, and well-laid shoulders. He is straight in the foreleg, standing on tight, well-arched feet. His chest is deep and rib spring is good for his age. While his front assembly is currently his strongest feature, he moved out well once he settled.

Graduate Dog - 2:1

1st - BOOTH & ODDIES, LUNDGARTH FLY THE FLAG JW

I have judged this dog only a month prior and my opinions of him have not changed, a young male who shows great promise but needs time to fully mature and strengthen his frame. He has an expressive head with plenty of work in it, completed by a lovely expression from his hazel eyes. He possesses a clean neck and tight feet. Today he moved out gracefully and with purpose whilst slashing his well held tail.

Limit Dog - 1:0

1st - BUSH, PIASHARN ROCKA ROLLA

2-year-old Black and White Male impressed with his overall balance, sound bone, and fit condition. He has a magnificent, masculine head, set off by a dark eye and kind expression. His neck and shoulders are clean, and his body is deep-chested and well-ribbed. He is well-angulated both in front and rear, which contributed to his elegant movement, showing great reach and drive as he effortlessly covered the ring. (RBD)

Open Dog - 1:0

1st - JAMIESON, MACARA & BLACKBURN-BENNETT, SH CH KANIX PERI PEI WITH GLENFINNAN

This 7-year-old male was an honour to examine. He is a well-presented dog, exhibiting excellent masculinity, bone, and muscle. His head is lovely with a gentle expression. He has good neck length leading into well-placed shoulders, a strong topline, and a deep chest with well-sprung ribs. His strong hindquarters feature good stifle bend and well-let-down hocks, standing on tight feet. He moved effortlessly, with a perfect footfall and a pleasing tail action. (Best Dog and RBOB).

Puppy Bitch - 3:1 - 2 lovely puppies who I am sure will swap places throughout their careers.

1st - SMITHs, EL FYDAL DEL WINEPOING NATYAVE GROVE (IMP CZE)

I loved this puppy's attitude; she clearly enjoyed her time in the ring, and despite being a handful for her handler at times, she demonstrated her potential.

She appears well-balanced and has good substance for her age and size. She possesses a beautiful head with dark, mischievous eyes. Her front angulation is excellent, with ample depth and spring of rib for a puppy. Her rear angulation is good, with sufficient bend to the stifle. She moved out enthusiastically, and once settled, she covered the ground with ease, tail never stopping. This is definitely one I will be watching with interest..

2nd - COLLINs, MILLPOINT SPREAD YOUR WINGS OVER VABISBRAE

She is a slightly different type than the winner, appearing longer and finer in build. While she lacked the confidence of the first-place puppy today, this is something I am sure will develop with time.

She possesses a pretty head with a gentle expression, a clean neck, good shoulder placement, and correct rear angulation. She clearly enjoyed moving in the ring, covering the ground effortlessly and with ease.

Graduate Bitch - 5:0

1st - BUSHs, PIASHARN BREAKING THE LAW

This beautifully balanced bitch presented a classic, flowing outline without exaggeration. She possessed a feminine head with a lovely expression and well-set ears. Her clean, well-lengthened neck led into well-laid shoulders. She stood true on straight forelegs and sound feet, with ample depth of chest and spring of rib contributing to a firm topline. Her well-muscled hindquarters featured a good bend of stifle and well let-down hocks. She moved out effortlessly, covering the ring with impressive reach and powerful drive.

2nd - BOOTHs, LUNDGARTH TICKET TO FLY JW

This beautiful bitch, though proving a handful for her handler today, clearly demonstrated her immense potential. She possesses a beautiful, expressive head on a well-proportioned body. At times, the difficulty for her handler caused her to tense and shorten her neck, which unfortunately compromised her free-flowing outline. However, she was exceptional on the move, covering the ring with such drive and purpose that she would be best suited to a large ring with a fast-moving handler. I will watch her career with great interest to see how she matures and settles in the ring.

3rd - JENKINs, SNIPERAY EBONY PEARL (AI)

Reserve - COLLINs, RAIGMORE HERMIA OF VABISBRAE

VHC - EDMONSON & ROBERTSHAWs, COOKRISE SUNBEAM

Limit Bitch - 0

Open Bitch - 2:0

1st - BLOWERs, FOWINGTON LAR TI DAR AT DEADAWAY

I have long admired this bitch from the ringside, and she did not disappoint. She is a picture of the breed standard, symmetrical with gracefully flowing curves, and nothing about her is exaggerated. Her sound bone and muscular body clearly show she is capable of working on the moors, which I know she does. She has a feminine head with the gentlest of expressions from her dark eyes, a clean neck of ample length leading to good shoulders, and a deep chest with excellent forechest. Well-sprung ribs lead back to a well-arched loin, complemented by a strong topline and a good, 'bee sting' tail set. She moved effortlessly around the ring with grace and enthusiasm, her tail slashing with purpose. (Best Bitch, Best of Breed)

2nd - JAMIESONs, CARMELFAIR BELLISSIMA WITH GLENFINNAN

Another beautiful bitch, differing from the winner in being more compact yet equally balanced and well-muscled. She possessed a pretty head with a lovely expression and a clean neck. She was a strong, purposeful mover, effortlessly commanding the ring as she covered the ground.

Hungarian Vizsla’s

Puppy - 4:0

1st - UNDERDOWNS, KANDYMAL SWEET WILLIAM AT BARATJA

This 9-month-old male was the most composed in the class, presenting a compact style with good bone and muscle. He has a handsome head with a gentle eye, though a slightly wider muzzle would be preferred. His chest has good depth with well-sprung ribs. He moved well, but carried his tail slightly proud. (BP)

2nd - SCOTT LEGG & SCOTTS, OAKSWARREN BELIEVE IN MAGIC

This 10-month-old, lacking the substance and bone of the winner, possessed a feminine head with a gentle eye. Her neck and shoulders were clean, her forelegs straight, and she stood on tight feet. She had ample spring of rib for her age and a firm topline. She moved well and covered the ground with ease.

3rd - SMITH & WALKER, KENBLOOM SMITHSONITE

Reserve - SMITH & WALKER, BUTTERFLY HUNTER COSMOPOLITAN

Graduate - 4:1

1st - SHARROCKS, VIZASH HUNOR

A substantial dog, he presented as very headstrong but possessed good bone and muscle. He has a masculine head with an expressive eye, a deep chest with a good amount of forechest, straight forelegs, and stands on good feet. He is well-ribbed up with good length to his loin, a strong, firm topline, and a good bend of stifle. Although he moved erratically, he won the class on breed type.

2nd - MURRAY & PARKERS, SZELKIRALY’S FOOLPROOF JW

While I preferred this dog's overall demeanor, he was notably lacking the balance and strength of the class winner. He possesses a pleasing head with a gentle expression and a clean, well-proportioned neck. He moved well, effortlessly covering the ground.

3rd - LOWTHIANS, FELLPOINT ASH

Limit - 5:1

1st - MURRAY & PARKERS, TRUE MAGIC OF SKYROCKET AT SZELKIRALY (IMP HUN) JW

Winning the class, this dog demonstrated excellent overall substance and balance. He presented a beautiful, masculine head and expression, set on a good neck and shoulders. His notable qualities included nice depth from withers to brisket, ample spring of rib, and strong rear angulation, which contributed to his effortless movement, easily covering the ground.

2nd - UNDERDOWNS, BITCON JACKPOT AT BARATJA

A more compact style with less substance and balance than the winner, this dog possessed a nice head with a lovely expression. He was well-bodied with good spring of rib and a firm topline. His movement was acceptable.

3rd - MORTON & MILICEVICS, BITCON PUT A SPELL ON YOU

Reserve - GREIGS, STALKINGMATE BUCATINI

Open - 7:4

1st - MURRAY & PARKERS, MENTA OF SKYROCKET AT SZELKIRLY (IMP HUN)

This 7-year-old bitch presents as balanced and in excellent condition. She has a pretty head with an alert expression, a well-muscled neck of correct length, good shoulder placement, and straight forelegs standing on sound feet. She is deep-chested with plenty of depth and has a strong topline, complemented by well-muscled hindquarters with good angulation. She moved out effortlessly across the ring, maintaining her topline and tail carriage with precision (BOB).

2nd - GREIGS, STALKINGMATE BUCATINI

Feminine, with a pretty head and well-developed body, this bitch was well-balanced and showed strong rear angulation, though she lacked the overall substance of the class winner. Her movement was good.

3rd - UNDERDOWNS, KENXTWEN CHOCOLATE CHIP AT BARATJA

Hungarian Wirehaired Vizslas

Junior - 2:0

1st - BYRNES, ENRYB PURPLE PEOPLE EATER

This is a striking, masculine dog with impressive ring presence, bone, and muscle, shown in excellent coat and condition. He possesses a handsome head with a lovely expression and ample furnishings. His strong, muscular neck flows into well-placed shoulders, supporting a strong topline. He is deep in the chest and well-ribbed. While he moved with good reach, he lacked a bit of drive on the day, and I would be keen to observe him in a larger ring.

2nd - SWAINSON, STARSHOT OVERWATCH

I was very pleased with this youngster. Though lacking the winner's substance and confidence, it demonstrated balance at this time. He presented with a lovely head with a gentle expression, clean neck, and shoulders. While he needs more time to body up and strengthen, his future potential is clear. (BP)

Graduate - 2:0

2nd - Rpt of Junior

Open - 2:0

1st - ELDERS, SH CH ENRYB SKYE BLUE

I have long admired this bitch from the ringside, and was delighted to finally examine her. She is a beautiful representation of the breed, presented in excellent condition with ample bone, a lovely coat, and a confident 'show girl' attitude. She possesses a pretty head with a beautiful expression. Her strong, muscular neck flows into well-placed shoulders, and her strong body has a good rib spring and a firm topline. She demonstrates good rear angulation with well let-down hocks and a good bend of stifle. Her movement is dynamic; she 'comes alive' on the move, covering the ground with good reach and drive, and an undeniable 'look at me' presence. (BOB).

2nd - NOKES, GOLDPAW FIVE TO MIDNIGHT

Feminine throughout and well-balanced, she lacked the overall substance of the winner. She was pretty in the head with nice eyes, a clean neck, and good front and rear angulation, which was evident in her movement, as she covered the ground effortlessly and with ease.

Weimaraner

Puppy - 3:2

1st - HOSTLERs, THEONDALE HIGH HOPES

This 10-month-old bitch presents as feminine throughout, with good bone and plenty of muscle for her age. She has a very feminine head; my only minor note was a preference for a slightly shorter foreface, which did not detract from her pretty head and lovely gentle expression. Her neck is clean, of good length, and well-muscled, leading into good shoulder placement. She is deep-chested with ample spring of rib for her age, maintaining a firm topline and good tail carriage. Her strong hindquarters were evident on the move, where she drove around the ring, holding firm with a good tail carriage (BP).

Junior - 5:3

1st - Rpt of Puppy

2nd - MORCH-WALDOCKs, REEFCREST COOLWATER

Masculine throughout, this dog presented a strong, commanding head and expression. He exhibited good, substantial bone and was deep in the chest with excellent spring of rib. While these individual components were admirable, he lacked the overall flowing balance and symmetry of the class winner. He moved out well enough, but his lack of balance prevented him from achieving the effortless grace and precision demonstrated by the winner.

Graduate - 2:0

2nd - Rpt of Junior

Post Graduate - 1:1

Limit - 5:2

1st - WESTs, GUNALT FREQUENCY BY HANTU (AI) JW

Having previously judged this bitch, I was delighted to see how well she has matured. She presented as the most complete in the class, both physically and mentally. Exhibiting good bone and muscle, she was in a gleaming coat and condition. She possesses a feminine head with a beautiful expression. Her strong, well-balanced body features ample spring of rib and a slight tuck-up. She showcased her strong front and rear angulation beautifully on the move, covering the ring effortlessly with good reach and drive, working perfectly in sync with her handler. (BOB).

2nd - ALCORN & INGRAMs, GUNALT MIXER

A bitch of a different type than the winner, she is still maturing and needs to build confidence. She is flashy and handled emphatically, and although racier in type than the first-place bitch, she is beautifully balanced with a lovely outline. She possesses a pretty head with a more alert expression than the others. She maintains a firm topline and tail carriage, but today, she initially wanted to rush around the ring. However, once her handler slowed her pace, she settled into the correct rhythm, covering the ground effortlessly while maintaining her topline and tail carriage.

3rd - MACLAINE & DICKSONs, GREYSPIRIT MYSTIQUE JW CPW22

Open - 3:2

1st - HOSTLERs, SH CH KALIMOR DAISY JW

This beautiful, 7-year-old bitch presents a lovely outline. While she is on the larger side, she remains balanced, with excellent overall body proportions that speak to her quality and substance. Her head is pretty and feminine, graced with a soft, gentle expression. She has a clean, well-set neck flowing into correctly placed shoulders. Her strength is evident in her good, strong hindquarters, providing the necessary drive for powerful movement. She covered the ground smoothly and purposefully, demonstrating sound and efficient movement around the ring.

German Wirehaired Pointer

Junior - 2:0

1st - GLOUDEMANS, REAJEAGER STIEG

This 18-month-old male is of good size and substance, presenting a balanced, well-boned, and muscular outline. He has a masculine head of correct proportions, featuring pleasing facial furnishings, dark eyes, and a lovely expression. His strong, well-muscled neck flows into well-laid shoulders. He stands true on straight forelegs and good, tight feet, boasting good depth of chest and a well-ribbed body. His strong hindquarters, complete with good stifle bend and well let-down hocks, powered his movement, allowing him to cover the ground effortlessly and with great ease. (BP).

2nd - BOWMANS, KELLY STAR AT SHARRALE

A bitch full of exuberance and personality. I preferred her head to that of the winner, but unfortunately, her lively nature let her down today. This compact bitch possessed plenty of muscle and bone, with good depth and spring to her chest and ribs. She moved erratically, but there were glimpses of her true potential.

Graduate - 0

Open - 1:0

1st - BLANCO & OSBORNE, LUX VOM MAIBROOK (IMP DEU)

This 4-year-old male presents as masculine, strong, with good bone and muscle. He has a delightful head, full of masculinity and an expressive eye. He is deep-chested, with a good spring of rib, a strong topline, and good feet. He moved out well, but I would have liked to see more drive from the rear, which may have been due to the size of the ring. (BOB).

Junior Handling

6-11

1st - Chloe Youngren, handling a young German Wirehaired Pointer (GWP), is a lovely young handler who appears new to the discipline. Handling a young GWP is no easy task, yet she managed it with great composure and confidence. She handled the dog with empathy and in a quiet, kind manner. Although she requires more practice to master the 'dos and don'ts' of Junior Handling, her positive attitude and natural empathy for the dog suggest she possesses all the necessary qualities for future success in the sport.
