Humberside Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Club

I would like to thank the committee of the Humberside CKCS club for the invitation to judge and also the exhibitors for your wonderful entry. 



Baby Puppy Dog 3/1
 
1st: Tylers. Revaelann Just Like Heaven. 4.5 month old Tri colour male. Appealing baby. Well-rounded skull with dark, round eyes. Nicely balanced outline when settled, compact body and already showing sound movement with a happy tail carriage. A promising youngster. 

2nd: Tylers. Revaelann Enchanting. 4.5 months old Blenheim male. Pleasing baby puppy with good head and ears. Good coat texture developing and moved happily around the ring. Slightly less balanced in outline of the winner today, but enjoyed his day which was great to see. 

Baby Puppy Bitch 1

1st: Jacksons. Fortunamajor Moonshine. 5 month old charming Blenheim baby girl, of lovely type with feminine expression and excellent pigmentation. Large dark eyes and soft expression. Good neck and shoulders, level topline and moved freely for one so young. Promising for the future. BBPIS

Minor Puppy Dog 4/3

1st: Gilberts. Ouzlewell’s Ron Weasley. 8 month old Blenheim. Quality youngster showing excellent breed characteristics. Balanced head with correct stop, dark eyes and well-set ears framing the face beautifully. Compact body with moderate bone and good spring of rib. Moved with freedom and drive while maintaining a level topline.

Puppy Dog 2

1st: Arrowsmith & Vorderstrasse. Arrowbien Clarke Gable. The star of the day! This youngster took my eye immediately when entering the ring. 9 month old Blenheim. Very attractive puppy dog with excellent head and prettiest of expressions. Lovely dark round eyes, correct ear set and well-cushioned muzzle for age. Strong topline with good angulation front and rear allowing him to move freely and positively. Presented in excellent coat and condition. BIS, BD, BPIS.

2nd: Leach’s. Queenslake Quinn. 12 months today, Blenheim male. Smart puppy with pleasing outline and sweet temperament. Lovely head and expression. Correct silky coat and feathering. Moved soundly and showed well for his handler. Unlucky to meet the winner of today class. 

Junior Dog 2/1

1st: Gilberts. Ouzlewell’s Harry Potter. 15 months old. Blenheim with lovely breed type and masculine without coarseness. Pleasing headpiece with dark expressive eyes. Compact body with level topline and strong quarters. Moved well.

Special Post Graduate Black & Tan/Ruby Dog 3

1st: Vorderstrasse, Arrowsmith & Hogan. Arrowbien That’s My Boy. 2.5 year old male. Smart Ruby. A richly coloured dog with excellent breed type and masculine head. Lovely dark eyes and soft expression. Compact body with good angulation and strong hindquarters. Sound and stylish mover especially in profile.

2nd: Fox-Shone. Pamedna Jacques. 3 year old male. Attractive Ruby with pleasing head and expression. Good coat and temperament. Slightly less balanced in movement than the winner but nevertheless a quality dog. 

Limit Dog 3/1

1st: Walkers. Carsan Richie Rich JW. 2.5 year old Tri colour male. Beautiful dog with excellent breed type and overall quality. Beautifully balanced head and expression, dark eyes and correct ear placement which were well fringed. Put down to perfection. Compact body with strong topline and moved well although seems a tad unsettled in front today. A very worthy winner.  

2nd: Willis’s. Dinitro’s Rock Steady Eddie JW. Blenheim male. 2 year old. Pleasing exhibit with many virtues and excellent temperament. Correct coat texture and pleasing outline. Preferred the winner for refinement and overall type and picture. He was getting ahead of himself on occasions but when he calmed he was more ‘steady’ on the move. 

Open Dog 2/1

1st: Lunts. Oaktree Royal Austin. 3.5 year old male. Blenheim. Larger all over but in good coat and showed well for his handler. Moved well around the ring and stood four square. 

Veteran Dog (7 years & over) 1

1st: Fox’s. Lynmily Mister Blue Sky VW. 8 year old Blenheim. Lovely veteran showing himself off with his handler. Masculine head with kind expression and dark eyes still full of character. Moved well with enthusiasm and demonstrated excellent temperament. A credit to his owner.

Vintage Dog (10 years & over) 1

1st: Gilberts. Bellflows The Gentleman JW. 12 year old Blenheim. Delightful dog and what a great age, still carrying himself well. Pleasing head and expression with lovely dark eyes and soft appearance. Sound mover for his age and presented in admirable condition. A pleasure to judge.


Minor Puppy Bitch 3/1

1st: Potters. Toyswood Queen Of Hearts. Ruby. 6 months old. Feminine youngster with pleasing head and soft expression. Moved soundly both ways and around with confidence when settled. Silky coat developing well.

2nd: Potters. Toyswood My Hearts Desire. Black and Tan litter sister to 1. Pleasing girl with good pigment and appealing outline. Unsure today in the ring and challenging to handle. Preferred the winner for overall balance and truer movement. She enjoyed her day which was good. 

Puppy Bitch 4/1

1st: Towse’s. Arrowbien Audrey Hepburn. 9 month Blenheim. What a beautifully balanced puppy bitch of excellent type. feminine head with melting expression, large dark eyes and correct proportions. Good reach of neck into well-laid shoulders and strong hindquarters. Moved elegantly with plenty of style. Loved her shape. 

2nd: Hogan’s. Arrowbien Grace Kelly Of Staving TAF NAF. 9 month Blenheim, litter sister to 1. Attractive puppy with good coat texture and outline. Beautiful head and expression and scored here. Showed confidently and moved steadily. Preferred the winner for overall shape and balance today but it was a close decision. 

Junior Bitch 2/1

1st: Lenihan’s. Fennyfare Little Paris. 16 months Blenheim. Pleasing head shape and ears. Good coat texture, moved freely and confidently around the ring with her handler enjoying her time in the ring. 

Maiden Bitch 2

1st: Welch’s. Fennyfare Siren For Toraylac. 16 month Blenheim. Feminine bitch with pleasing head and expression. Good eye shape and colour giving true softness. Compact body with moderate bone and well-set tail. Moved confidently and held her topline well.

2nd: Lenihan’s. Fennyfare Little Paris.

Novice Bitch 3/1

1st: Welch’s. Fennyfare Siren For Toraylac.

2nd: Lenihan’s. Fennyfare Little Paris.

Graduate Bitch 1

1st: Pounford Rollings & Rollings. 2 year old Blenheim. Pleasing head and expression Brymarden Touch Of Blush. Lovely bitch with good proportions and breed character. Sweet expression, correct ear placement and beautiful silky coat. Moved with freedom and elegance around the ring.

Special Post Graduate Blenheim/Tricolour Bitch 3

1st: Jaramillo & Chadwick’s. Conabec Causing Chaos. 2 year old Blenheim Feminine bitch with lovely colouring and true Cavalier expression. Excellent eye shape and pigment with well-set ears framing the face beautifully. Moved elegantly with good reach and drive.

2nd: Corners. Delaby Yorkshire Rose. 2.5 year old Tri colour. Pretty bitch with pleasing outline and lovely coat texture. Moved well enough though not quite the front movement of the winner today.

Special Post Graduate Black & Tan/Ruby Bitch 3/1

1st: Potters. Toyswood Modern Love. 2.5 year old Black and Tan. Lovely feminine bitch with rich tan colouring and excellent coat texture. Pleasing expression with large round eyes and good cushioning. Moved freely and confidently with a level topline.

2nd: Corners. Toyswood Magic Dance and Delaby. 2.5 year old Black and Tan. Pleasing bitch with sweet expression and proportions. Sparkling coat full of shine. Moved steadily though lacked the finish and drive of the winner today.

Limit Bitch 6/1

1st: Sedgebeer. Rustic Olivia Rose. 2 year old Ruby. Elegant bitch with lovely feminine qualities and pleasing Cavalier expression. Rich in colouring and in ample coat. Excellent proportions throughout with good neck and shoulders, level topline and strong quarters. Moved with style and confidence.

2nd: Jaramillo’s. Conabec Lady Madonna. 3 year old Blenheim. Attractive bitch with sweet expression and in good coat. Sound mover and caught my eye on the move, just needed to settle today. Close decision between one and two. 

Open Bitch 5

1st: Cox’s. Embrace Christina. 18 months old Blenheim. Beautiful bitch with enough maturity and coat for age. She showed so well for her handler presenting her breed attributes in the best light. Feminine head with melting expression, lovely neck and shoulders and excellent body proportions. Moved effortlessly around the ring maintaining a level topline throughout with great neck carriage. BB & RBIS.

2nd: Chadwicks. Juzandia Lady Bug At Chadlia. 2.5 year old Blenheim. Quality bitch with sweet expression and in good coat with great silky texture. Moved soundly and showed well. Preferred the winner for elegance and overall balance as this girl just lacked neck carriage today.

Veteran Bitch (7 years & over) 2

1st: Hogans. Ch Staving Wendy’s Song JW. 8.5 year old Blenheim. What a charming veteran bitch, in greatest of condition, with lovely feminine expression and excellent condition for age. Correct body proportions and still moving freely with confidence and style. Beautifully presented in gleaming coat. BVIS 

2nd: Colavecchia’s. Carlus Miss Elsie VW. 8 year old Blenheim. Attractive veteran with sweet temperament and pleasing outline. Moved steadily though and was at one with her handler. In beautiful condition. 


Vintage Bitch (10 years & over) 2

1st: Fox’s. Lewharle Izzadorabe For Lynmily VW. 12.5 years old B;enhai girl. What a sweetie. Beautiful vintage bitch with classic Cavalier expression and graceful outline. Maintained excellent coat and condition for age and moved happily around the ring with style and dignity. A credit to her owners and breedes. 

2nd: Colavecchia’s. Carolous Miss Liberty VW. 12 year old Blenheim. Sweet veteran bitch with pleasing expression and sound enough movement. A lovely example of the breed for her age and again a credit to her owners and breeders.
