Siberian Husky Critiques.

Class 177: Siberian Husky PG, D/B, (4) 1a, 1st Lupacchiotto’s Street Cred By Lupinemoon, 1yr, silver and white male with a double coat of medium length. Dark almond shaped obliquely set eyes, correct muzzle length and scissor bite, lovely masculine head with ears set high on head and well furred, correct arch of neck leading to withers. Good length of leg, straight front with tight oval feet, correct spring to ribs, level topline and free flowing gait true always, nicely balanced on the move. Delighted to learn afterwards that I had awarded him his last all important point for his Junior Warrant, congratulations.

2nd Sweet Honey Girl at Danameli JW (IMP ITA), 1.9yrs, light red and white pretty girl I had judged before as a six month old puppy. Presented today in good coat condition, very much a teenage girl with a mischievous cheeky alert expression, obliquely set eyes with a nice feminine head, correct ear set and scissor bite, good front with good bone and well sprung ribs, good rear angulation with low set hocks, level topline held on the move with a nice fox brush tail, gait was balanced on the move with ease, overall a lovely girl who is maturing nicely.

Class 178: Siberian Husky Open, D/B, (4) 1a, 1st Siberinda Wynter Bear, 9.8yrs, light red and white handsome masculine male who looks a lot younger than he is (a typical trait for the breed). A masculine head with correct obliquely set almond eyes, scissor bite, correct muzzle and stop, ears set high on head, fantastic leg length with correct slope to pastern, good front assembly, nicely arched neck leading to withers, level topline with correct slope of croup, good strong chest of correct depth with spring of ribs allowing for freedom of action on the move, well-muscled male of super quality and balanced proportions, his movement is effortless covering good ground with reach and drive. 2nd Atlanticbreeze Bailey By Lupinemoon JW (AI) (IKC), 4yrs, grey and white male, another good male of good proportions. Correct scissor bite, lovely alert keen expression, nice head with ears set on high, correct arch of neck leading to withers, well laid back shoulder, good length of leg, level topline and good spring to ribs, correct tuck up, a free and easy mover around the ring and on the out and back, lovely male, just preferred movement to 1st on the day.

BPIB – Kadexek’s Siberian Snow, 9 months, white female presented in a lovely coat condition, up to size for age, obliquely set dark eyes, feminine foxy face, correct neck length, good length of leg, nice rear angulation, she was unsettled on the move and I was unable to truly assess movement on the day. It is the handlers first show dog, but with more schooling she will settle down and I’m sure both handler and dog will find their feet and paws.
