Cardiff Canine Society – Premier Open Show 25/01/2026 Pug Puppy (4/4) 1. Bubbapug Empress Pudding. 11 months. She had a lovely temperament and is of nice shape and size. Good head and eye, black wrinkles and mask, dark eyes and neat well-set ears. Square in body with high set on tail carried well. Moved soundly and true. 2. Roxmarr Diamond Fizz at Conquell. Another of 11 months. Very close between 1 and 2 today. Preferred the ear size and movement of 1. 3. Hazempugs Buster Junior (2/2) 1. Roxmarr Pimms Royale at Conquell. 11 months. This young man had it all for me. He is of excellent proportions, balanced and of great substance. He had a very typical, sound movement in all direction and moved so freely. His head is simply to die for with such an expressive eye and he had a beautiful ear and set. BOB and BPIB. 2. Roxmarr What’s Up Pussycat. 15 months old. Simply couldn’t match 1 today in head, structure or movement. She had a feminine head with lovely round, dark eye. Didn’t always use her tail to advantage today sadly. Post Graduate (3/3 1. Conquell Charm Offensive. 17 months. Nice bitch with a pretty head. Correct neck and shoulder. I found her to have a straight front and sound rear. Good tail and set. She moved and showed well. 2. Hazempugs Total Eclipse. Another of 17 months. Typey, attractive head. She moved well around the ring and was close up to 1. 3. Hazempugs Toetoe Open (5/7) 1. Conquell Calm To Chaos. 4 years. He has an incredibly attractive head piece and was very attentive to his handler. There was no exaggeration and everything was where I would want it. I found him to have a straight front with nice balance and typical rolling rear movement. RBOB. 2. Conquell Cabinet Of Clowns. 2 years. Well balanced but I preferred the overall head of 1. He has a good neck and shoulder, level top line, nice tail and set, sound rear, moves well. 3. Bubbapug King Of Puddings Res. Bubbapug Starship Trooper VHC. Sephina Heart Breaker JW Chinese Crested Junior (0/0) Post Graduate (1/3) 1. Oozzoo Blu Min Wild. 4-year-old Powder Puff. She appeared a little nervy. Despite this, she had a nice balanced outline overall and pretty head with nice eye and ear placement. I found her to be well assembled both front and rear; she moved well, gleaning a little confidence from her handler. RBOB. Open (1/2) 1. Cefndaidi Emelia. 2-year-old Powder Puff. Such a happy little boy! He never stopped wagging his tail. I found his head attractive with the correct dark, almond eye, the required ear placement and correct coat. His movement was free and pleasing to watch in all directions. BOB. Griffon Bruxellois Post Graduate (1/1) 1. Thornwyde Jezabel It Was You. 2-year-old. Another who appeared a little nervy at times; she tended to want to hold stand under herself both whilst stood and on the move which did her no favours. Despite this, she was incredibly pretty and had a beautifully rich coloured coat of correct texture. BOB. Bichon Frise Post Graduate (1/1) 1. Snowpups Sparkly Solitaire. 7 months old. Lovely young pup who gained more confidence the more the class went on and was attentive to her handler. She has the correct coat for her age which is starting to mature. She has lovely round, dark eye along with good pigment. She appeared soundly constructed which showed in her effortless movement in all directions. BOB and BPIB. Havanese Post Graduate (1/1) 1. Maryanns Golden Roses Cathy Rostellar (Imp HUN). 2.5-year-old. I found this young man to be balanced throughout who had a nice, soft coat of good quality. His head was classic with expressive eye. On the move, he excelled and was a joy to watch. BOB. Open (1/1) 1. Draco Lovemaker from Rostellar. 5-year-old. This young man ticked all the boxes however I just referred the overall look and finish of BOB in comparison. Italian Greyhound Post Graduate (1/2) 1. Bytheiad Fair Guinevere at Willingwisp. 2-year-old. Stood alone however deserved her placing today. I found her to be nicely proportioned with a sweet head and she appeared to move soundly despite the freezing conditions on the day. BOB. Open (0/1) Yorkshire Terrier Post Graduate (0/0) Open (0/0) Fay Matthews-Jones
