Moontorn Chasing The Dream JW, Breed: Retriever (Flat Coated) (Miss A Bellamy) 

One who appeals for her excellent outline, of medium size, feminine and not overdone. Her head is of good length and nicely moulded. Stands on excellent bone and well arched feet, firm in topline which doesn’t falter standing or moving. Excellent body and ribbing and moving with a sound free action and excellent profile. Covered the ground with an easy, sometimes over enthusiastic stride in all directions. Shown in good muscle tone and handled to advantage. 

RBIS - Sh Ch Bb's Chesapeake Breeding Dory for Arnac (Imp Che), Breed: Retriever (Chesapeake Bay) (Mrs C S & Mrs G Mayhew & Mccartney) 

Medium sized bitch, of pleasing size and substance, stands on well boned legs and excellent. I liked her broad head, pleasing eye shape and expression. Quite small ears, high set. Excellent body and ribbing, pleasing front, firm well-conditioned body, well-muscled rear, has good width in her quarters. Moves out to advantage with an excellent profile action. 

BPIS 17 - Papa Don't Preach to Gemswin (ai), Breed: Retriever (Flat Coated) (Mrs S, Mrs G & Mr M Knight & Jacobs) 

Liver flatcoat and of pleasing colour, just 6 months and immature as to be expected. Typical in outline, long head, well moulded and with excellent eye shape and colour. Firm well-padded feet, well boned legs, pleasing front bone. Short square loin. Still very adolescent but a free positive mover in all directions once he got going.

Well grown Golden Retriever youngster who presents a typical outline standing, pleasing head and eye shape, broad skull, dark eyes. Neck of good length, pleasing front, bone and feet. Compact, firm, well-muscled body, firm topline and tail well set and carried. Moved very positively in all directions.

12-year-old Labrador dog who belies his age. Pleasing head and eye shape, Strong neck, well angulated front, well boned legs and well arched feet. Deep body, well ribbed, firm topline, well wrapped tail well set and carried. Strong, well-muscled rear which he used well on the move. Correct double coat of good texture. 

2ND 66 - Tenfield Klipspringer with Auryngra Sgwc Wgc (Miss S Moore) Br:Retriever (Golden) 

 Golden Retriever dog, darker in colour. Masculine head, dark eyes, enough neck and moderate front angulation. Well boned legs and excellent feet. Deep in body and ribbing, firm level topline. Moderate rear angulation with hocks quite well let down. Moved on an even stride. Shown in excellent condition.

1ST 86 - Altindan Xantara (Miss A E Taggart) Br:Retriever (Golden) 

Raw youngster as you would expect in minor puppy, but one with a good outline. Head is developing well, dark eyes. Neck of good length, pleasing front angulation, correct bone and excellent feet. Firm in body and maturing along the right lines, level topline and ribbed well back. Well angulated hindquarters with hocks well let down. Moved out positively in all directions.  

2ND 39 - Solwynhart Nanjizalbay of Warrentor (Miss K Clunie) Br:Retriever (Golden) 

Longer cast bitch who has an appealing head, feminine and in no way overdone. Neck of correct length, pleasing front bone and feet. Longer cast in body and would prefer her to be better ribbed back. Level topline and tail well set and carried. Presented in good coat and muscletone.

Approaching 12-month-old puppy with a typical outline, his head is of good length and well moulded. Clean through the neck and front with shoulders quite well positioned, straight forelegs and excellent feet. Body has good depth and ribbing, firm topline, tail well set and carried. Strong compact loin. Muscular quarters with stifles well turned and hocks well let down. Presented in excellent coat and condition, moved out freely in all directions.  

2ND 55 - Applecote Winters Glow (Mr M L & Mrs T & Miss L A Layland) Br:Retriever (Golden) 

Mature and well-developed male, pleasing expression, his head is strong enough. Neck of good length, pleasing front, well boned legs and standing on well-padded feet. Body has good depth, well developed ribs, carried well back. Standing a little high behind as he is in the middle of a growing phase. Strong, wide well-muscled quarters which he used to advantage on the move. Shown in excellent condition.

Appealing in outline and of very good proportions. Head is proportionate and well balanced, dark eyes. Long neck, shoulders well positioned, good bone and feet. Compact, well-balanced body, firm and well ribbed back, Level topline, tail well set and carried. Moved out very well in profile, just needs to settle in her front action. Presented in excellent condition.

Body has good depth and she is well ribbed back. Firm level topline, tail well set and carried. Moved out positively in all directions and shown in excellent condition.

Feminine flat coated retriever bitch, pleasing head of good length and well moulded. Neck of moderate length stands on good legs and feet. Firm body with good ribbing, muscular loin, well angulated hindquarters she used to good advantage on the move. Shown in excellent coat and condition.

Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever bitch who is a good size, pleasing head of good shape, correct eye colour. Neck of correct length stands on good legs and feet. Firm well ribbed body, tail well set and carried. Moved on an even stride in all directions.

A well-matched pair of Golden Retriever's very even in terms of size and balance, moving out well in a coordinated fashion ably handed by their young handler.

Flatcoated Retriever bitch who is sound and well balanced. I have judged her before and liked her then . Typical in outline, well moulded head, dark eyes and pleasing expression. Strands on excellent legs and feet. Body of good depth, firm level topline and tail well set, moved out positively in all directions, shown in excellent condition.
