1. Bowman’s Kelly Star at Sharrale. 18 month old bitch. She has a clean outline which is slightly longer than tall, and a nicely proportioned head with a good depth of flew. Excellent front angulation with a good layback of shoulder and upper arm. Would prefer more bend of stifle to complete the overall balance. Good depth to chest and spring of rib. Moved out well on a good side gait, just not as tidy going away. RBOB.

1. Cox’s Ovetil Class Act. 2 ½ year old dog. Liked him for his balance and outline and medium size, and correct body proportions. Lovely balance to head with brow and beard and moderate stop. Straight forelegs and good bone. Balanced angulation with a good layback of shoulder and corresponding upper arm, and a good bend of stifle. He has lovely profile movement. It was a shame that during the challenge his handler withdrew him.

1. Cox’s Ovetil Troseberry. 2 ½ year old dog and the litter brother to the dog in Limit but of a bigger type. Liked him for his balanced and clean outline. Well proportioned head with moderate stop and good brow and beard. Moderate neck flows cleanly into a good layback of shoulder and he has a good length of upper arm, and strong bone. Good depth to chest and spring of rib and he is well muscled. He moved on a ground covering stride around the ring. BOB.

1. Bednarska & Bednarski’s Hartenziel Laderach. 18 month old dog who is well up to size and is yet to fill his frame, but he is balanced. He has good head proportions and correct stop with a kind dark eye. Lengthy neck into a good layback of shoulder, would prefer a more level topline, he tends to dip in the middle. Not the depth to elbow yet. He has good rear angulation with a good bend of stifle and short hocks, which helped propel him round the ring on a lengthy stride. RBOB.

2. Crowther’s Ronaldsbill Mystical Fire. 19 month old bitch. She is up on her legs at present and needs to fill her frame, she is quite narrow all the way through but time is on her side. Preferred her topline to 1, which is level. Her head has the correct skull to muzzle proportions and she has a kind dark eye. She is long from hip to hock, with short hocks. Moved ok.

1. Inglis’s Caradilis Jumping Jack. 4 1/2 year old dog. Liked him for type. Correct head proportions and stop, with a dark eye. He has an excellent forehand assembly with a good layback of shoulder and long upper arm. Level topline and correct tail set. Moderate length of body and he stood on good feet. He just lacks in rear angulation to finish the balanced picture. Moved well around the ring and coming and going. BOB.

1. Oddie’s Riowood Cherry Jubilee at Sharnphilly. A really lovely 8 month old o/w bitch puppy. Loved her outline and type. She has such a pretty head, which is well proportioned with correct stop, and a kind melting expression with a dark eye. Occiput and correct ear set. A lovely length of neck into well laid shoulders that flows into a correct topline, with ribbing well back to short loin. Nice bend of stifle and width to thighs, with short hocks. Moved round the ring with ease. BPIB and delighted to hear she was Puppy Group 2.

2. Saunders & Newton’s Teisgol Snow Prince Charmin. 8 month old o/w dog. Another nice puppy and a different type to 1. He has a lovely well proportioned head and a dark eye, with correct stop and well set ears. Nice length to neck with fits smoothly into well laid back shoulders. He needs to drop in chest, but that will come with maturity, and for balance would just prefer more body length at this stage. Correct topline and a moderately angled rear. He moved out well around the ring.

1. Booth & Oddie’s Lundgarth Fly The Flag JW. 21 month old o/w dog. He has a nice outline and is balanced in angulation fore and aft, with a good layback of shoulder and a decent length to his upper arm. He still needs time to develop and deepen in his chest. He has a nice head with a kind expression, deep stop and depth to flew. He uses his tail well on the move and has a correct tailset. Moved well around the ring.

2. Oddie’s Sharnphilly Euphoria for Riowood. Almost 12 month old o/w bitch. Loved her head and length of neck, which flows into a lovely front assembly and correct topline. Such a pretty head, correct stop and depth to muzzle, pronounced occiput and correct ear set with thin leathers. Has good depth of body for her age. Just preferred the balance and more moderate rear angulation of 1 today. She moved out on a good stride.

3. Saunders & Newton’s Corotine Velvet Tuxedo.

1. Boulton’s Codnorhawk Starlight On Moreoldglen. A lovely 3 year old liver/w bitch, with a balanced and flowing outline. Head of correct proportions with a good length to muzzle, depth to flews and such a melting expression. Good length of neck that flowed into well laid back shoulders, and she has an excellent length of upper arm, and good bone. Ribs are well sprung and reach well back, with a correct topline and tailset. She has good rear angulation with a well bent stifle, width to thighs and short hocks. She moved out on a really good stride and was lovely to see her lashing tail. BOB and delighted to hear a group shortlist.

2. Booth’s Lundgarth Ticket to Fly JW. 21 month old b/w bitch. Just lacking in maturity over 1 but she is a lovely type. She has a kind expression and a good stop with well set ears. Lovely front angulation with a good layback of shoulder and upper arm. Correct in topline and has a good bend of stifle. She moved out on a really good stride around the ring, and she pipped her litter brother to RBOB on her overall balance and shape.

3. Pressley & Large & Large’s Mattiboo White Queen.
