British Chow Chow Club Open show. 19th April 2026

Firstly I would like to thank the committee for inviting me to judge this lovely show. Thank you to my stewards for keeping things running smoothly, and to the exhibitors for supporting me.

Class 1- Baby puppy dog (no entries)

Class 2- minor puppy dog (no entries)

Class 3 - Puppy dog (2-1a).

 1st. Robinson. Rendel Sid Vicious.

10-month-old shaded red, very well off for bone and substance, in lovely puppy coat. Head is a bit on the heavy side, but he has a lot to like, flat broad skull with well-padded ears, eyes are dark, good teeth and pigment. Legs are strong and parallel, leading to catlike feet, he stands perfectly square. Good width all through, Shoulder assembly correct, short coupled. Shows great ring presence with a cheeky attitude. He moved around the ring with purpose with a lovely pendulum stride in profile. Best puppy. Reserve best dog.

class 4 -Junior Dog (no entries)

Class 5 -Post Graduate dog (5-4a).

 1st Godber, Lechan Mr Sandman.

Two year old fawn. He stands lovely and square and makes a fantastic profile, enough bone for size with a nice tail set and good neck length. Head is not overdone. He has a lovely expression, eyes are dark and clean and the correct shape, nice length to muzzle with good padding, teeth and pigment good. Chest is good with parallel front he is well ribbed and short coupled with short hocks. Active mover just a little close going away.

Class 6- limit dog (4-1a)

1st – oliveria.. Jodoka the fool

He is a big substantial boy standing slightly longer than square, well off for bone. skull is broad and flat, eyes are Oval and dark, ears thick, well-padded muzzle of good length, pigment and teeth good. Chest depth is good but a bit narrow all through, neck is strong and of good length holding it well above his shoulders, Movement good, just don't think he was at his best today

2nd- Lechan Mr Sandman see first in post grad

 3rd-Miss Spanias- Charids King of Hearts

class 7 Open dog- (1-1)

1st – Fisher-Shulian San Angelo Star At Poppykins JW ShCEx OSW.

4-year-old shaded red of good size. Head is not overdone, ears are thick and well placed, eyes are dark but slightly bold, muzzle well-padded and of good length, Skull broad and flat dentures correct and good pigment. He stands a little longer than square with a good amount of bone, chest is of good depth and width, Good neck length to good shoulder placement, front and is nice and parallel, well ribbed with a strong top line, high tail set and Nice tight feet, moved well but a little close going away. Best Dog, B.I.S

Class 8 Special open AOC Dog.- (2-2)

1st- Godber- lechan Mr Sandman (1st in post grad)

2nd. Godber- lechan Lewis

6 year old black He stands lovely and square, a neat box, enough bone for size with nice tail set and good neck length. Head is not overdone he has a lovely expression, eyes are dark and clean and the correct shape, good length to muzzle with good padding, teeth and pigment good. Chest is nice with parallel front he is well ribbed short coupled with short hocks, moves lovely in profile if a little close going away

1st . Erwing- Janqbu Honey Moon At Beaconpride

Black Puppy 8 months old, this youngster has a lovely feminine with a head, fantastic expression, nice, neat ears of good size, dark eyes of the correct shape, Dentures and pigment good. Good amount of width and depth to chest with enough bone for size, ribs are nicely sprung, good neck length and nice tail set with well let down hocks. She's in lovely puppy coat, Standing a little unbalanced at the moment. She's a little sweetie with great ring presence once settled. Would Just prefer more leg.

Class 13 Junior bitch (1-)

1st – Spanias- Charids Queen of hearts

16 month old shaded red. She makes a nice square in profile with enough bone. Nice head with lovely ears that she uses well, eyes are clean and dark but slightly round, muzzle is well padded and teeth and pigment are good. Slightly narrow in front but parallel legs to nice tight feet, level topline, short coupled, good tail set and short in hocks. She is a small, neat package who is very attentive to her handler. moves OK in front but circles a little in the rear

1st- Erwing- Stubullbox niobe’sAngel at Beaconpride

2 year old shaded red with fantastic outline, lovely amount of leg nice and square with enough bone. Her head needs to fill out, but her eyes are dark and Oval, ear placements good, lovely length of neck, teeth and pigment good. Front is parallel with enough width and depth to chest, nice tail set with level top line, hocks are well let down, movement was good when settled

2nd. A.m Foy. - Shulian saskia star to Ramannire

The two year old shaded red who stands a little longer than one, her head is excellent with lovely expression with clean dark eyes, good padding to muzzle , nice length of neck with well sprung ribs, good amount of bone for size would like more leg but overall a nice little girl who is very attentive to handler, move well both ways.

3rd Fisher- Poppykins golden ticket

Class 15 Limit bitch (3-1a)

1st Southgate, Clymarian yuki with santicana

4-year-old fawn with the lovely square outline of nice size. Head is lovely with nice padded correctly placed ears that she uses well, dark oval eyes, well-padded muzzle of good length, teeth and pigment good with nice length of neck. Width and depth of chest is excellent, ribs well sprung and short coupled, level top line with lovely tail set. Nice tight feet, well boned and stands four square, she moved well.

2nd jakeman- Tanlap Thruppnybit-

 2-year-old Shaded red, very feminine girl standing a little longer than one. Her skull is flat and broad with correctly placed ears that she uses well, Nice dark oval eyes, teeth and pigment good. good reach of neck, in front is parallel with good width and depth and enough bone, level top line with good tail set, moved well

Class 16 open bitch (1-1)

1st Fisher, Poppykins golden Nugget.

Two and a half year old shaded red, fantastic head, nice thick ears correctly placed, padded muzzle good in length with good clean dark eyes, broad flat skull and a lovely expression, correct teeth and pigment. Nice width and depth to chest with well boned parallel legs leading to nice tight feet, she has good neck length ,correctly placed shoulders, well sprung ribs with level top line and a nice high tail set, would prefer a little more length of leg, moved well in profile a little close going away. Reserve best bitch

Class 17 Special Open bitch A.O.C (4-2a)

1st. Foy. Ramannires villanelle

Fawn 22 months old, although I would prefer a stronger head, she has correctly placed ears, nice dark eyes, a broad flat skull and correct teeth and pigment. A little unbalanced, would prefer more leg, but this girl excels in movement, level topline which she holds on the move, nice parallel front with enough bone, well-presented and very attentive to her handler, a real sweetie.

2nd . Hollies. Lechan Livia.

 Black 4 year old, strong head but remaining feminine with broad flat skull, well-padded ears, dark eyes, good width to muzzle, teeth and pigment good. Nice length of neck, good amount of bone but standing a little long, she is a strong sturdy girl just preferred movement of one

Class 18 veteran bitch (1-1)

1st- southgates, santicana Blue Velvet

8-year-old blue, A square little girl with a waggy tail, she stood alone today, she has a nice head with dark oval eyes correctly placed ears and a nice, padded muzzle, pigment and teeth are good. She has a nice amount of bone for size with parallel legs. Correct shoulder placement, lacking in coat today, moved OK.
