Critique
Thank you to the committee for inviting me to judge some of the Utility breeds and Junior Stakes at your show. Considering the amount of rain we have had and that many of the dogs I judged were coated breeds their presentation was excellent and I appreciate the effort that goes into keeping these breeds in condition in winter. It was a well-run show with a lovely atmosphere. I really enjoyed my day.

1st. Rintintina's Amaranthine at Roxxilu (Mrs L & Mrs L Dearn & Wheatley). 7-month-old bitch with good head and nice square skull and good ears. Good front and feet with nice square body proportions and good spring of rib for age. Excellent topline and balanced hindquarters. Movement still needs to come together but good for her age. A promising puppy. Stood alone in the breed so happy to aware best of breed and best puppy.

1st. Nicangebulls Zsa Zsa Gabor (Mrs A Goddard). Promising pied puppy with a good head, nice round eye and good bat ears. Strong neck and good front and feet. Well sprung ribs for age, carrying a bit of puppy fat but had a good rise over the loin. Hindquarters still need to strengthen. Movement not quite together but went well enough. Best Puppy.

1st. Kianspuchi Audrey Hepburn (Mrs A Goddard). Brindle bitch who I preferred in head qualities of the two. Lovely head and expression, excellent ears and balanced front construction with good feet. Well sprung ribs with good rise over the loin and strong hindquarters. Most together of the two on the move.
2nd. Chareve's West End Girl at Mattisa (Mrs L & Mr M Taylor). Brindle and White bitch with feminine head and good strong underjaw. OK eye shape and nice ears. Not as good in front as the winner being slightly shorter in upper arm and needs to strengthen in hindquarters. In good well-muscled condition but not showing at her best today.

1st. Kianspuchi Hedy Lamarr (Mrs A Goddard). Brindle bitch with super head and eye shape, well proportioned muzzle to skull with good ears. Good front and feet with well sprung ribs and nice topline with good cut up and strong hindquarters, Nice free movement. Best of breed.
2nd. Ch Bevanray Terrypendry JW (Mrs B Hucker). Pied male with masculine head and good ears. Very good front but could have better feet. Well sprung ribs with good topline and enough cut up. Rear movement could be stronger.

1st. Tawvale Gisei (Miss A. Roberts) 16-month-old bitch with super feminine head and beautiful dark eye and expression. Lovely ears and balanced skull proportions going into a super front with excellent feet. Well sprung ribs with moderate balanced hindquarters. Beautiful white coat and pigment and excellent tail. Lovely free light movement. Quality exhibit who I was happy to award best of breed to in this excellent entry.
2nd. Sanyinko Natsu Taiyo (Mrs T Church). 8-month-old male puppy with masculine head and super eye and pigment. Very good front and feet with excellent rib to loin proportions and balanced muscular hindquarters. Excellent tail and coat colour and condition and nice true movement.
3rd. Tawvale Gatusei (Miss L G Fraser)

1st. Tawvale Fumika (Miss L G Fraser). Feminine bitch with lovely head proportions and ears although a touch rounder in eye shape than I’d prefer. Best front in this clas with good length of neck and excellent feet. Well sprung ribs of good length and another with excellent coat texture and colour. Moved well, lots to like.
2nd. Sanyinko Barton’s Starlet (Mrs T Church). Young bitch who was a touch out of coat today. Beter expression than 1 however not as good in front. Very good feet with well angulated rear and good tail. Moved well and little between her and the winner.

1st. Belzbentley Aussie Pride with Charney (Imp Aus) (Mrs S Bliss). Super 11-month-old puppy who pushed hard for best of breed. Excellent wedge-shaped head with super eye and expression and excellent pigment. Very good front with balanced upper arm and good length of rib with enough spring for age. Excellent feet and super overall body proportions. Lovely free and light movement. Best Puppy in Breed.
2nd. Tawvale Lola (Miss L G Fraser). Four-year-old bitch with a nice head and good eye shape and expression. Could use her ears better today. Not as good in front as the winner but good feet and overall proportions. Balanced hindquarters and good tail and coat. Moved OK although a bit lacklustre overall.

1st. Neradmik Shooting Star (Mrs M & Mrs J Harris & Sharp-Bale). Adorable 6-month-old male puppy with super head and eye shape, excellent ears of good thickness and balanced wedge shaped skull. Strong arched neck going into an excellent front with good feet. Well sprung rib of good length with short strong loin and balanced hindquarters. Well set tail and lovely puppy coat. Super mover for one so young, a very promising puppy. Stood alone in the breed but happy to award Best of Breed and Best Puppy.

1st. Deelayne Dancing in The Dark (Miss N Crummey). 6-month-old gold bitch with a good head, correct bite and balanced skull. Very good front with well laid shoulders. Would like a touch more length of rib but overall good body proportions and held an excellent topline. Balanced well angled hindquarters with super movement. Best Puppy.

1st. Skylax Power of Love (Mrs M Adam-Slomkowski) Another nice bitch with a super head and aloof expression. Good length of neck going into a very good front with plenty of rib length and balanced hindquarters. Well set tail and coat of good texture. Lovely sound free mover with plenty of drive at the rear.

Super eye shape and excellent front with well laid shoulders going into a well ribbed up body with excellent topline and tail. Balanced well angulated hindquarters and excellent coat texture and length. Lovely free mover. Happy to award best of breed in today’s entry.

1st. Ch Komargo Going for Gold (Miss J M Philpott). Quality cream bitch with super head and expression, lovely expressive eyes and excellent ears. Excellent front and feet with short cobby body of good depth and well-set tail with balanced hindquarters. Super coat texture and lovely sound mover being true up and back. Best of breed.
2nd. Ch Ristine Magical Spice (nbt) (Mrs C A Massey). Loved the head on this cream dog however felt the 1st scored better in front. Lovely cobby proportions overall and excellent coat texture. A bit reluctant to be shown today.

Liked the head on this puppy with super eye shape and arrogant expression, excellent front and feet with well laid shoulders and good length of ribs with good coupling. Well set tail with strong hindquarters and good bone. Lovely smooth movement whilst holding their topline well. A promising puppy who I was happy to award best puppy to today.
2nd. Shidizzle Quartzite Star of Crimsonleash (Miss M Shulver). 11-month-old who was very together on the move however I preferred the head qualities of 1. Well laid shoulders with good depth of chest for age and another with a good topline. Well balanced hindquarters and good tail. Moved well.
3rd. Schnaubern Sean Dillon at Daltricia (Mrs P M Maule)

1st. Jadetemple Jaci Higgins at Daltricia JW (Mrs P M Maule). Quality gold parti colour of excellent breed type with super head and arrogant expression, lovely eye shape and good square muzzle. Excellent front with well laid shoulders and good bone and feet. Lovely body proportions with well set tail and excellent topline. Sound movement with lovely head carriage and overall outline. I really like this bitch and felt she showed the best breed specific qualities in todays entry. Best of Breed.

1st. Daltricia Jane Austen JW (Mrs P M Maule). Feminine bitch with a lovely head and expression, preferred her overall body proportions to 2nd. Good neck going into a well laid shoulder and very good front and bone. Excellent topline and tail and another of very good breed type. Moved well.
2nd. Keola Driving Force JW (Mrs M Salt). Masculine head with good proportions although eye a touch starey. A bit longer bodied than I prefer but an excellent topline with balanced hindquarters and good tail. Another good mover.

1st. Ricox I Deserve Your Love JW (Mrs J Rice). Black male who was my best puppy last time I judged him. Lovely masculine head with good eye shape, nice strong well cushioned muzzle and good chin. Better front of the two in this class and more together on the move today. Lovely topline and tail and super sound mover.
2nd. Susu Banana Parti Boat at Tephiti (Mrs R & Miss L Collins). Parti colour dog aged 17 months. Loved his head and expression however still very raw in body. Good enough front with well placed tail and ribs of good length with enough spring. Hindquarters need to strengthen and still very much a teenager at this point.

1st. Oldcharm Peaky Love for Alandobel JW (Mr A & Miss A Keepence & Keyte) Masculine head although could be a touch smaller with slightly less stop. Strong short neck and good slightly bowed front. Well sprung ribs with well set on tail and strong well-made hindquarters. Super coat and condition and very sound mover. Overall, most together in todays entry and a quality dog with plenty to like. Best of breed.
2nd. Ricox I Love My Mini Me JW (Mrs J Rice). Feminine bitch who I preferred the head qualities to 1. Good front and feet and held her topline well. A touch out of coat today and not in the condition of the winner. Lots to like and another who moved well.

2nd. Kelmorespitz Dark Magic (Miss L C Thomas) Promising 6-month-old with super head and expression. Very good front and overall proportions. Still very raw but overall balance is there. Moved well for age.

2nd. Kelmorespitz Dazzled Smoke (Miss L C Thomas). 13-month-old black with balanced skull, good length of neck and good feet. Another with a good square outline and well-set tail. Moderate balanced rear and moved well.

1st. Tazique The Emperior (Mrs J M Lawrence) 2 ½ year old black and white with lovely head and expression, well laid shoulders and good return of upper arm. Good feet and lovely square outline, Balanced hindquarters and the best mover in this class.
2nd. Renvall’s Sublime ‘n’ Soda (Mrs V S & Miss A J Vernall). 22-month-old bitch, a touch heavier than I prefer. Good head proportions with good front and well laid shoulders. A touch longer bodied than I prefer. Balanced hindquarters and moved well.
3rd. Kelmorespitz’s Love N’war (Miss L C Thomas)

1st. Waterley Angel Evangelista with Malocomi (Mrs D Green). Quality 6-year-old black and white bitch with super head and skull and lovely eye shape. Excellent front with balanced return of upper arm and good feet. Excellent topline and overall square proportions with well set tail and balanced well angulated hindquarters. Lovely coat texture and condition and superb movement which won her this class and best of breed.
2nd. Verony Looks Like A Lady (Mr A & Mrs V M Green). Another quality exhibit with an excellent head and expression, very good front and feet and fair spring of rib. Excellent coat texture and tail. Not quite the movement of the winner.
Junior Stakes
1st. Silkwhite Dreams Fun and Zen, Breed: Maltese (Mrs M & Mrs C Georgiou & Wong-Curley). Quality Maltese who did not stop showing in this class. Lovely head with well-defined stop, excellent dark eyes and super pigment. Very good front with well placed shoulders and good spring of rib. Super topline which was held on the moved with balanced well angulated hindquarters. Beautiful gleaming white coat of good length and presented immaculately. Lovely free flowing movement which out moved many of the bigger dogs. I’m no toy expert however this youngster showed balance and quality throughout and was a worthy winner of this super junior stakes.
2nd. Revenite Sergeant Wilson for Rangali, Breed: Basset Fauve De Bretagne (Miss M & Mrs H Allenby). Quality young Fauve with super houndy head, moderately domed skull and beautiful eyes and expression with correctly set ears. Good length of neck going into a very good front with good forechest and well sprung ribs for age. Balanced strong hindquarters and well-set tail with super top line. Lovely free striding action.
3rd. Africaner Sundown, Breed: Rhodesian Ridgeback (Mrs S & Mr D Lloyd Jones)
