South Yorkshire Whippet Club (Morning Show)
Sunday, 22 February 2026
I thoroughly enjoyed this judging appointment. My appreciation to the club for giving me this opportunity and for having everything running like clockwork. I must also thank the exhibitors for giving me a really lovely entry of 120 dogs (with very few absentees) both in terms of quantity and more importantly, quality. It was a great pleasure to be with the Whippets – they are such a beautiful, gentle breed and their endearing personalities shone through. There was a happy buzz about the show and all class results were applauded with genuine enthusiasm which was lovely – just as shows should be. My thanks to the first-class stewards, Russell Sykes and Roger Perkins, for keeping things moving in an unobtrusive but efficient manner.
