Basenji Limit (1):
1. Knowles’ Sarawanda Dragon’s Quest JW, feminine and shown in lovely condition, short back, pleasing legs and feet with fine bone, pleasing stride;
Basenji Open (3): headed by two very worthy champions who are full sisters
1. Dunsdon’s Ch Mawali New York New York, the younger of the two at 3 years of age, lovely quality and type, correct balance, typical head with almond shaped eyes, fine bone, well made forequarters with elbows well tucked in, well made hindquarters, looks lovely on the move, sound in all directions and lovely in profile where she goes with the typical swinging stride, BOB;
2. Dunsdon’s Ch/NLD Ch Mawali Four Get Me Not, just turned 5 years of age, she is so similar to 1 and the same remarks apply, it was a privilege to judge them both, the extra bloom of youth of 1 won the day but a close call;
3. Knowles’ Darawana Dragonfire Rising JW
Basset Fauve de Bretagne

Bartley’s Ch Erylan Poseidon De La Mer, stood alone but a dog with many merits and no surprise to see that he is titled, lovely headed dog with well set ears, really good topline which he maintained on the move, super hindquarters with well let down hocks which produced excellent drive, well presented coat of correct texture with a rustic look, BOB;
Borzoi

2. Dawson’s Stubbylee Into The Mystic, litter brother to 1, similar in overall outlook but preferred overall make and shape of 1;
Open (1):

Dawson’s Mischra The Sequel for Stubbylee JW, 3 years male blue brindle/white who is the sire of the two puppies, good overall picture and outline on the stack which is maintained on the move, lovely head, deep brisket, correct topline and good hindquarters, has a bit of style about him, moved soundly, really good behind, BOB;
Greyhound
Puppy (1):
1. Bogart’s Sobers Kendrick at Incitatus, beautiful quality, really promising puppy of 10 months, lovely well chiselled head with good underjaw, beautifully made in front, super legs and feet, deep chest, strong loin, really excellent hindquarters with good first and second thigh and well let down hocks, shown in super condition, very tempted to give him BOB but the small ring was not to his advantage, in the challenge for the puppy group with the ring made bigger, he was able to give a really good account of himself on the move – so sound, super stride and excellent accuracy, this puppy has the potential to be a real star, will watch his future with great interest, PG1 and BPIS;

Hound Group
It was a strong group with several champions and CC winners competing, a pleasure to judge.
G1 went to the Whippet, Ch Crème Anglaise’s Entourage with Silkridge JW who still looked superb both standing and on the move, such quality and type combined;
G2 was the super Basset Hound, Ch Armardio Against The Wind, super quality dog shown in superb condition and muscle, masculine without a hint of coarseness, so well proportioned all through with good head, correct leathers, good ground clearance and excellent body properties with super topline held on the move, so sound out and back, driving from behind and carries himself so well in outline with super stern, had the pleasure of judging him nearly 2 years ago when his quality and promise was evident, approaching his mature best he is sure to continue to do a lot more winning;
G3 was the Wirehaired Dachshund Brumberhill Biscuit to Ambiesque, of very good type and overall outline with correct head and good coat, balanced angulation fore and aft and a true mover, well-muscled although a little less weight would be beneficial;
G4 was the Greyhound, Ch Frankie Decuma via Windspiel who was able to show off his sound movement to better advantage in a bigger ring, dog of super type and overall outline;
Hound Puppy Group
PG1 was the Greyhound, Sobers Kendrick at Incitatus who rather stood away, such are his many virtues;
PG2 was the Borzoi, Stubbylee Boom Like That
PG3 was the Whippet, Collooney Take On The Devil
PG4 was the Basset Fauve de Bretagne, Rangali Raffa still enjoying his day out;
