MASTIFF

Spec Yearling (1, 1)

Open (1, 0)

Herrings’ BEL/LUX/NLD/DK CH WOMLU WORTH THE WAIT WITH HEFFALUMP Magnificent masculine dog with great ring presence. Stood alone but deserving of his BOB. Presented in fabulous condition, strong bone, and nicely balanced outline with strong topline. Good muscling to temples and cheeks, short muzzle, would prefer slightly less wrinkle in head, straight front, but could have tighter feet in front. Great depth of chest, clean shoulders and very muscular neck. Possesses powerful hindquarters which he used very ably on the move. Nice tail set and thick base to tail– easy mover for one so strong.

1. KIROMOL AIN’T MISBEHAVING (AI) Nine month youngster who caught my eye as they entered the ring, oh so feminine and clean in outline with such easy and precise movement , a joy to watch. Good bone for size, neat feet, lovely neck and clean shoulders, and has good width for front for age. Needs to grow into her ears, good head ratio. Nicely moderate in hindquarters and used them well on the move. Really look forward to seeing this youngster develop. BOB and BP

Post Graduate (3, 1)

1. KIROMOL KNIGHT OF THE REALM JW Loved the overall balance of this bitch, good eye shape and colour, nicely set eats, good infill in front, and clean shoulders. Good bone, good depth of chest, nice moderate hindquarters. Moved out freely

2. KIROMOL RECKON I’M HOT Darker in colour. Head could have better proportions and a darker eye. Clean shoulders, and nice infill in front, neat feet and good bone. Nicely balanced in body and moved out

What a lovely class this was and splitting hairs

1. AMAHLE RED HOT ZEPHYR AT VOORTREKKER I think I have judged this male previously and he has really developed nicely, a really masculine and balanced hound. I preferred his head to second, good eye shape and lovely strength of neck. Good bone, neat feet. He has good depth. He needs a bigger ring to really show off his attributes. From what I could see a lovely clean and purposeful mover. RBOB

2. DIAMONDRIDGE DREADNOUGHTJW Another super quality hound, different in type to winner, with many attributes. I loved his overall balance, clean head albeit a little wide in skull, he has a lovely front with good in fill and bone. Good depth of chest, lovely topline and used his hindquarters particularly well going around the ring. Not quite so clean in forward movement as winner

3. NUTHOUSE GOING FOR GOLD JW
