SUSSEX SPANIEL

Puppy. – 4(1)a

1st – Marston’s – Moel Ysgyfarnogod.

11mth young boy showing nice qualities & development at this stage, good male headshape, fully made-up nose of rich colour with open nostrils, well-padded muzzle, ears of good length & feathered, tight elbows, large round feet  & good bend of stifle, moved sound & true, shown in clean coat of correct texture . BPiB.

2nd – Tilston’s – Carnedd Llewelyn.

Litter brother to first placing & of similar traits & characteristics, kind face & expression, masculine head, defined stop, clean clear eyes, moved with drive & determination, starting to go through the teenage stage more, presented in lovely coat & condition & handled well.

3rd – Coney’s – Mynydd Manod.

Junior. – 3(1)a

1st – Allen - Line’s – Bjorksatras Corfitz At Deckham.

Male of teen age with head & face showing nice masculinity, good length of muzzle filled out & well padded, ears correctly placed & of fair length showing bright golden tips, elbows tight in to shoulders, ample amount of bone & muscle for age, lively & animated yet moved with a controlled even steady pace.

2nd – Coney’s – Mynydd Manod.

Litter sister to 1st in Puppy & shows lots of promise, fidgety & very playful, fun to assess showing her appealing character, cute feminine face & expression, fully made up nose & eyes of correct pigment, of nice height & length for age, very enthusiastic when moving so difficult to assess, shown in lovely clean rich coat & handled with kind sympathy.

P. Grad. – 3(0)a

1st – Gasher’s – Bakerscroft Bosbury Pippin.

Sound honest masculine lad of solid build & good conformation all round, head in context to length of body, eyes of correct shape with tight rims & of lovely hazel colour, shows a balanced outline & strong level topline, ample bone on the legs with large tight round feet facing forwards well, moved with a true & sound gait & striding action, a good class to win this one.

2nd – Clark’s – Skyes The Limit.

Girl showing lovely feminine features & soft expression, good length of neck, correct shoulder placement with elbows close in to body, deep chest of ample width, stands well up on her pasterns with neat manicured feet, well developed spring of rib & tight waistline, tail flowing off her back nicely & shows a typical outline, lots to like with her, moved with an even balanced determined stride.

3rd – Swietalski’s – Bowswizzler Queen’s Guard.

1st – Bradbury & Preston’s – Sh Ch Harasteorra Big Bear. JW.

Fully mature, strong handsome boy showing soundness & balance throughout, Impressive lad I found very hard to fault, true to breed type in every way, classic male outline which showed his streamlined body well, of sound construction all round, stood four square naturally, fluid & easy when moving  using his lovely extended forward reach that only comes from correct, tight shoulders, one you cannot ignore, presented in fully furnished clean coat, handler gently coaxed him & he did the rest to take the top slot today. BoB.

2nd – Swietalski’s – Sh Ch Fred Siop Ganol Into Bowswizzler.

One very similar to 1st placing in terms of conformation & quality, proper masculine head & body not overdone nor too heavy, well filled out muzzle & padded checks, of sound construction all round, fit & well-muscled with hard thigh & second thigh, not settling today but animated when moving & was really enjoying his day, shown in full mature rich clean coat, superbly presented & handled.

 

Open Bitch.3(1)a

1st – Short & Bull’s – Bakerscroft Beckley Belle.

Again, another close class today, feminine female of good substance & conformation, facial features all in correct context & with nothing extreme, clean eyes, wide open nostrils, defined stop & clean mouth & tight fitting lips, correct height & length overall showing a good reach of neck & strong topline, hindquarters well-developed & muscled, best movement with a true even gait & firm driving action. Res BoB.

2nd – Wyton’s – Willowswalk Miss Sunshine Over Belbroughton. 

Sweet feminine face & expression, full muzzle with lovely gold masking & defined stop, ears of correct length well feathered & framing her face beautifully, body of nice substance & construction, stands well up on her pasterns  & shows a good bend of stifle, steadier on the move & not quite so enthusiastic as 1st, turned out in super full clean coat of rich colour & handled with  control.

Vet. – 2(0)a

1st – Swietalski’s – Sh Ch Sovaroma Relatively Frank With Bowswizzler.

9yr old male with a lovely full masculine head & body of good substance & muscletone, needed for a day’s work, of correct size & proportionate to the standard, even width between front & rear legs & stood four square naturally, tight knit body not showing any lack of mobility in his joints, evident when moving, showing balance drive & purpose, immaculately presented in fully furnished coat. B Vet i B.

2nd – Short & Bull’s – Foxhampton Femme Fatale At Bakerscroft.

Endearing sweet natured girl of 7yrs young, clean correct dentition, clear bright tight rimmed eyes of correct colour matching her pigmentation, fit muscled body of nice substance not overdone or showing any slackness, ample bone, neat tight feet, shiny full coat with the lovely golden sheen, moved steady & not so animated as 1st placing today but was a long wait before she had her turn.
