Thank you to the committee for the invite to judge at your friendly well-run show. My two stewards Portly French and Lesley Poters thank you for giving up your day and keeping the ring always running smoothly. Thank you to each exhibitor who entered, your sportsmanship made my day, and I wish you all well for the future. I was so pleased to hear my Best Veteran Pastoral went on to be placed BIS Veteran.

1st Burts, Accra The Triwizard , feminine black tri girl, lovely head of correct proportions. Almond eye shape and correct set to ears. Lovely neck leading to correct set to shoulder. Body nicely balanced throughout. A little unsettled on the move today.

Black Tri who is all male. Lovely masculine head piece with expressive eyes of correct shape and colour. Triangular ears set correctly to side of his head. Clean flowing neck into a good lay of shoulders. Strong firm topline with deep chest, well sprung ribs. Lovely angles front and rear and good muscle tone allowing him to move with easy. B.O.B.

2nd Knott’s, Zuni Someone U Loved Fallcat JW

Blue Merle Male. Lovely all male head with good expression. Good length to neck into good lay of shoulder. Nicely balanced boy all round. Sound on the move and pushed hard for 1st place. Res B.O.B.

1st Steer-Eldridge. Gwall Tafwyn Gwenllian 15-month slate bitch who was a little shy today, but happy for me to go over her in a noisy/ busy venue. Loved her movement she covered the ground with minimum effort. Correct proportions to head, with soft and affectionate expression. Level top line and balanced front and rear. Res B.O.B

1st Patterson’s Eltimaris Platinum Pudding JW slate bitch with feminine attributes throughout. Lovely head of correct proportions, eye set wide apart with a soft and affectionate expression. Moderate neck with slight arch leading to sloping shoulders. Balanced throughout, level top line with a well sprung rib. Movement was long, smooth and reaching with minimum effort. Lovely condition. B.O.B.

2nd Steer-Eldridge IR CH Kakos The Happiest Of Days Of Gwenllian JW . Lovely head girl in portion. Good neck with slight arch leading to a slopping shoulder, nice balanced girl all round, moved effortlessly.

1st Harrell & Branchflower, Beaukita’s Ava’s Endeavour Nearly 10-month-old bitch. Loved her, A little full of herself at times but she is young and learning. Lovely dark oval eye, correct set of ears. Her neck blended smoothly into her withers giving her, a proud head carriage. Balanced for her age with a level top line, lovely angles front and rear, lovely tight round feet, with double dew claws on hindquarters. Moved free and easy once she put her mind to it. 2nd Dandridge’s Beaukitas Hyde Park 3-year-old bitch, good head with correct proportions, lovely dark oval eye. Well sprung ribs and good front angles complementing her rear angles with double dew claws. Movement was ok in a tight ring for a large breed.

Smart head to breed standard, lovely dark oval eyes, nice set to ears of good drop and length. Nice angles front and rear with double dew claws on hindquarters. Strong neck, level topline, good spring to ribs, lovely strong loin. Effortless movement which was free with good reach and endurance. Lovely muscle/ condition. B.O.B

Nearly 4 years old male. Correct head which gives him balance, scissor bite, medium eyes that are slightly almond and dark. Neck of moderate length with a slight arch, Should blades flat and moderately angled, Deep chest with moderately spring od ribs. Muscled hindquarters with well let down hocks. Good mover, condition and attentive to handler . B.O.B

9 months old bitch. What a super puppy and one to watch for the future, I’m sure. This baby is so nicely put together all round, she has the sweetest of expressions from her obliquely almond shape dark eyes. Correct set to ears. Good length of an arch neck leading to sloping shoulders. Her body is slightly longer to height with a firm back and a slight rise over her loins. Good set of tail reach to hocks. Paw perfect on the move, her movement was effortless at all times. B.O.B. BPIB and Puppy group 2

1st Morey’s Brookynut Bonnie Parker10 month old bitch with a lovely feminine head, with lovely dark eyes and well set semi-erect ears. This baby has balance all-round and stands beautify. Good muscle tone and well let down hocks. So, sound on the move with effortless movement. Super condition. One for the future, I’m sure. B.O.B. BPIB

2nd Macy-Welsh Rocheview Dunstan almost 18 months old male. Nice head piece with correct eye shape and colour, correct set to his semi-erect ears. Good top line would like a little more all over for a male. Moved ok but a little unsettled, which could be due to his handler not changing hands and keep himself between the dog and judge. Hower he was in the next 2 classes and his handle remembered to keep the dog in sight of the judge and the dog flowed much better round the ring with good movement. A nice boy and once the handler has more confidence in himself so will the dog and it will all come together nicely. Keep going you will both get there with practice.

1st Morey’s Brookynut Clyde Barrow 10-month-old dog who is litter brother to my first in SY. Much applies to this boy as his sister, but in a male point of view. Lovely boy who even though is young you can see he is all male. Again, good muscle tone for a youngster. Super condition just not as flowing on the move today as his sister, Res B.O.B

1st Morey’s Brookynut Hot And Spicy mother to my 1st in both the previous classes. Beautiful feminine girl. Lovely head piece with correct eye and shape lovely semi-erect ears, giving that sweet expression. Very attentive to her handler. Lovely balance to her body shape stood four square. Deep chest and with well sprung ribs. Sound effortless mover. Again, in super condition.

1st Jarvis Elbereth Nuka 14-month-old male. An all-male head, lovely dark oval eye. Good set to ears and erect. Medium length to a strong neck, leading to a moderately lay of shoulder. Nice straight front and strong hindquarters. Nice spring of rib and good depth to chest. Moved well.

2nd Elis Lounatuuli Aurora Lumonova 8-month-old bitch. Sweet girl who was turned out lovely. Feminine head with correct set to eyes and ears. Level top line, balanced girl all-round with good movement once she settled down, very attentive to handler, good condition. BPIB

Strong neck leading to correct shoulders with a nice firm topline which he held well at all times. Nicely balance in body and angles front and rear. Tail set spot on. Flowed Effortlessly round the ring. Res B.O.B.

Lovely strong neck leading to correct shoulder and strong firm topline. Moderate spring of rib and brisket deep. Strong powerful hindquarters. Super effortless movement. Super condition.

1st Shaw’s Astradine Keepsake JW VW 10 years young bitch. Nicely balanced girl, nothing is overdone. Held her topline at all times and moved soundly round the ring. Lovley head with correct planes and lovely dark eyes. Good set to her ears. Lovely length of neck. Good spring to ribs, brisket long and developed. B.O.B.

Medium slightly oblique oval dark eye. Lovely neck with slight arch leading to a good lay of shoulder. Close fitting elbows. Level topline and strong hindquarters set on lovely catlike feet. Lovely little mover which was light and lively. Good condition throughout. Res B.O.B

1st Ms Wolf, Dawn Breaker. Almost 3 years old grey bitch, Another really pleasing grey bitch. Who stood with great shape and balance and look at me. Another beautiful feminine headed girl. Ears set up high with upper third bending forward to set her head and expression just right, with slightly medium oblique eyes which were lovely and dark and so expressive. Her neck having a slight arch of medium length leading to correct shoulder placement. Tight close fitting of elbows, straight forequarters and sitting under her body. Level top line, croup nice and short and slightly sloping. Her ribs are well sprung, lovely strong hindquarters, movement was light and lively giving her the complete picture. B.O.B

2nd Abear, Csulli Sweet Justice 3-year-old bitch of a good feminine head, ears set correctly with good use. Nice dark correct eye. Nice level top line standing and on the move. Moved and stood ok.

1st Frost, Frost-Treadwell, Trealowen Amelia At Frostisen 9-year-old bitch, lovely wedge-shaped head with lovely dark and lively eye, ears set high with good mobility, She has a moderately arch to her lean neck leading into good shoulders, level topline with a strong shot body with a deep chest. Moderately angulated in her rear. Tight oval feet. Lovely correct curl to her tail. With her light and good stride her movement completed the picture of this lovely, conditioned girl. B.O.B

2nd Frost, Frost-Treadwell, Frostisen Blakk Zeta (IKC) 4year old bitch who was nicely balance throughout. Nice moderate angles front and rear. Lovely dark eye and ear set which she used and was attentive to her handler. Good neck leading into good shoulders. Moved well . Res B.O.B.

1st Reeves, Charmlea Starblazer 6.5-month dog. What a little super star this baby was, he never stopped giving 100% to his handler, took everything in his stride and was paw perfect. Turned out to perfect and condition. He stood four square at all times. Super capacious head, correct dark eye and ear set. Straight forelegs and good off for bone , shoulders well laid back. Strong/ graceful arch to neck. Good depth of chest for age with a good spring to his ribs. His rear is well muscled. So effortless and sound on the move. He must surely have a very bright future it was honour to judge him. BPIB and puppy group 1

2nd Powell, KalajuKween Of Dreams At Wookeymill 11-month-old bitch. Anoth nice puppy. Lovely head of good proportions, Nice set to her dark eyes, lovely arch to neck leading to correct shoulder placement. She stood nice and foursquare on her tight round feet. She moved effortlessly round the ring at all times and was in lovely condition.

His strong arched neck leads to correct shoulders and straight front forelegs. He is good off for bone throughout. Deep chested and well spring of rib. Oval shaped eye and medium heart ears. So attentive to her handler. Lovely medium length to neck leading to well placed good lay of shoulder. Level topline with a board loin, croup slightly slopping. Nice, angulated hindquarters, standing on slightly arched oval feet. Loved her movement which was so true at all times. B.O.B.

Pretty feminine head of correct proportions, medium obliquely set eyes almond eyes and dark brown. Correct set to ears. Shoulders well laid back and super angulation front and rear. Tail set low and tapering. Nice topline with a graceful sweep over her loins. Balanced in body and movement was so smooth and graceful with minimum effort. Super condition. B.O.B. 2nd Rossiter Cocaro The Higlander, 2-year-old male, unlucky to come up against 1st place today. Lovely breed type male, who is balanced in body, nice angles front and rear, he has a gentle sweep of the loin. An all-male head with good eye shape and ear carriage giving his alert expression. Very sound on the move and another in super condition.

1st Young, Gowerston Genesis, 2-year-old bitch who has a lovely feminine expression, nice kind eye and good ear set with a slight rounded tip. She has a good muscular neck. Nice body shape with a moderate chest, deep brisket and well sprung ribs. Moved the best is this class. Good condition Res B.O.B

2nd Lusty, Twinan True To Form For Blamorder year old dog, lovely all male head with good expression. He has a nice dark eye and a good set to his ears. Strong muscular neck. Good shoulder placement, good depth to his brisket. Was close to 1st place but on the day, I felt 1st place had the edge on movement.

He has a good depth to chest, lovely sound front and rear. Good firm topline, standing and on the move. Nice tight round feet. His movement was free and active B.O.B

2nd Siviter, Faywaidd Spice ShCEx 7-year-old bitch. Much to like about this girl. She has a lovely out line. Lovely head, dark eye with correct set to ears. Borad chest and good spring of rib. Very sound on the move.

She has a good neck leading to a nice shoulder and topline. Nicely balanced in body which is of a medium length. Deep in chest. Strong in front and rear and moved well at all times round the ring. 1st Ridgwell Kontrastas Majestic Martin. White Swiss Shepherd Dog of 10 months old. An impressive male of very good breed type. He has good bone and balance through out making the complete picture on the stand and move, Though at times a little lively as he was looking for his house mate. Lovely all male head of correct proportions, good dark eye and ear set. His neck is arched and strong leading sloping shoulders. Topline is firm and he has a good depth to brisket. Strong broad hindquarters. He moved well with drive, Super condition. Best import puppy pastoral and res best import in breed pastoral.

1st Ridgwell Kontrastas Leonhart. White Swiss Shepherd Dog of 2.5-year-old dog. This boy is in Super condition. An impressive male who ticks all my boxes. Masculine head, dark medium almond eyes, erect triangular ears with rounded tips. Strong muscled arched neck, leading to slopping shoulders, strong/muscular topline, deep chest reaching to elbows. He is well muscled and board in rear. Lovely low tail set which he carried well on the move. And boy did he show he could move and excelled himself in the group, to which I could not deny him Pastoral Gr 1 on top of his Best AV Imported Breed Register Pastoral

2nd Hartfield Monshanta May Contain Nuts JW ShCEx OSW (Border Collie) 7-year-old male, in top form and has matured into breed type nicely. Lovely head proportions, distinctive stop, oval brown eye with a good set to ears, giving him a kind but alert expression. Good length to neck leading into a well laid-back shoulder. Deep in chest with a good spring of ribs. Parallel front legs with just the right amount of bone. Lovely angles front and rear, he has good muscle tone, allowing him to move with reach and drive at all times. Standing and on the move, he has a free-flowing outline. Super condition and pushed hard for group 1 in the pastoral group. I then had the pleasure of judging him in the veteran group which I award him Best Pastoral veteran. I was delighted to see he then went on to win BVIS.
