Rhyl Canine Society

My thanks to the officers and committee for the kind invitation to judge at their show. I enjoyed my day judging at this well organised event which had a friendly atmosphere around the rings.


English Setter


Post Grad(1,0) 

1 Smiths Bournehouse Secret Sunset of meadowrush 7yr old strong upstanding dog, good front and shoulders, the ring was a little small to show driving movement, liked his head of equal proportions BOB


Open(1,0)  

1 Smiths Lara from Valjevo Green Fields of Meadowrush Bitch, liked her size, good standing in profile, good straight front and tight feet, let down in movement.


Lagotto 


Junior (1,0)  

1 Johns Curleycruz Wild Flower at Frommesbeck Pleasing size, of good proportions, elbows nicely to chest. Good strong rear end and nice bend of stifle with parallel hocks. Balanced driving action on the move. BoB


Post Grad (1,0)

American Cocker


Open (1,0)  

1 Fryers Dreamcast Elysium at Carolco Black and white girl, very balanced on the move with strong rear action. Liked her head and expression with definite stop and good ear, lovely coat. BoB


Field Spaniel


Puppy (1,0) 

1 James Bleiddiaid Annie Power 9m old puppy a little apprehensive, good mouth and head dimensions and strong front end with elbows to chest. Liked her rear angulation. A little erratic in front on the move, but improved with subsequent movement.


Junior (1,0) 

1 James Bleiddiaid Dawn Run Litter sister to previous winner. Pleasing head of good dimensions. Strong rear angulation producing balanced driving action on the move. Although I preferred the front of her sister she won BP on her movement.


Open (3,2) 

1 Woodhouses Gadhelic Sunshine Girl at Halbadier Very sound good and parallel front and rear, elbows nicely to chest, loved her fore chest. Nicely angulated at the rear producing good balanced movement. Presented a good picture both standing and on the move. BOB
