Many thanks to the Secretary and her committee of this lovely Society for the invite and warm welcome, it was a long but enjoyable day, extended thanks to my two wonderful stewards Penny and Rebecca.

1. Schmid/Light’s Chantico Rock Star at Chantibbar. Stood alone today but a lovely young fawn and white male of 10 months who was confident and outgoing, well set ears and lovely dark eye, excellent pigment, apple dome skull, well laid shoulder, level back, presented in immaculate condition, moved out with a brisk and accurate stride, BOB, BP & PG3.

1. Crowley’s Copymear Flash Dance at Christalchi. Black parti bitch of 3½ years, very pretty feminine head with lovely expression, well set ears and dark eye, domed skull, good neck into a well set shoulder, firm top-line and pleasing body proportions, she held her tail well on the move, BOB.

1. Crowley’s Anadeia Maikon. Cream male of 4½ years where I would have liked a more masculine head, well set ears and dark eye, neck could have a little more length, small feet, well ribbed, could use tail to better advantage, moved ok.

Lovely grizzle/tan young bitch of 10½ months presented in excellent coat and condition, very feminine in head with expressive dark eye, balanced head proportions, good neck into a well set shoulder, straight legs and correct feet, well ribbed and easily spanned, firm top-line, she moved out with a confident free stride, BP & PG3.

2. Nettle’s Onziemehurst The Navigator. Grizzle/tan male of 10½ months, nicely proportioned with a masculine head and expression, broad skull with well set small ears, lovely dark eye, easily spanned, he held a firm top-line both standing and moving, presented in a harsh jacket of good quality.

Blue and tan bitch of 2 years, appealing head and expression, dark eye, well set small ears, easily spanned with good pelt, liked her balanced angulation front and rear, firm top-line, straight legs with good feet, well ribbed, well set tail, she moved out with a brisk clean stride, RBOB.

2. Tuffin’s Flegato Fidelio at Oatberry. Handsome 3 year old blue and tan male, slightly lighter in eye but he still had a lovely expression, broad skull and well set small ears, he was easily spanned with a lovely thick pelt, balanced angles, he carried a firm top-line standing and on the move, well set and carried tail, moved well.

1. Tuffin’s Hartswelin Veritas with Oatberry. Really liked this well presented grizzle/tan male of nearly 8 years turned out in excellent condition, lovely otter head with alert and masculine expression, dark eye, well placed small ears, correct head proportions, easily spanned, lovely angulation front and rear and well ribbed back, he was balanced all through, would have liked a little more animation on the move but he was steady and accurate, BOB.

2. Hall’s Borderrush Rambutan JW. Grizzle bitch of 3½ years, another presented in excellent coat and condition, feminine head and expressive dark eye with well set small ears and broad skull, good shoulder assembly, straight legs, good depth of brisket, easily spanned, good ribs, well set tail, she was accurate and positive on the move.

1. Welch’s Beaconsfylde Antlia of Fennyfare. 2 year old elegant dog, looked well standing, large erect ears, good neck, would like a better bite and a little more length of leg, small feet, tail carried well, a little too much lift in front when moving, RBOB.

2. Hobbs’ Beaconsfylde Andromeda. Litter sister to winner who wouldn’t settle on the move today, feminine head and expression with large erect ears and dark eye, good neck, elbows well set, firm top-line, she had a nice square outline when settled.

1. Hobbs’ Grande Misterio Carte Blanche Aoc for Beaconsfylde (imp LVA). Male of 3½ years, nice size with good erect ears, he had sound proportions all through with good length of leg, he moved out well with a positive stride, presented in good coat and condition, BOB.

2. Welch’s Villanelle Wonderful Toy Joreth. 2 year old bitch with sweet feminine head and expression, legs could have more length, lacked in breed type for me but she excelled in temperament, moved ok.

Male of just 6½ months but very promising, well made throughout, long head with slightly arched skull, high set ears and good length of neck, well laid shoulder, liked his overall body shape, round feet, brisk movement, he was turned out to absolute perfection, BOB & BP.

1. Fewings’ Komidion Symphoniques. Bitch of 4 years with feminine head and expression, dark eye, slightly arched skull and well set triangular ears, would like front legs a little straighter, strong neck, presented in excellent coat and moved out with a brisk stride, RBOB.

Fewings’ Komidion Schubert. 4 year old male and litter brother to previous class winner, long head with dark eye and well set ears, he had good angles front and rear, good length of neck, long tail which was set and carried well, not settled in his front movement today and he could carry more body condition.

Appealing w/t male of 10½ months, masculine head with flat skull and well defined stop, dark almond eye, well placed ears, strong neck, he was balanced throughout with a good lay back of shoulder and his body was of correct proportions, excellent tail set which was well carried, loved his confident character and he covered the ground with a free stride, couldn’t look past him for BOB & BP, delighted to see later he was awarded G2, PG1 & BPIS.

2. Witmond’s Tiltser Chartreuse. Young w/t bitch of just 6½ months who appealed for her feminine head and expression, well set ears with good head proportions, she had balanced angles front and rear and carried a firm level top-line, straight legs of good bone, she moved with confidence and accuracy and a free stride.

Loved this super young w/t male of 14 months for his balance, lovely masculine head with flat skull, well placed ears and an intelligent, friendly expressive eye, lovely set to his shoulder with straight legs of good bone, well sprung rib, good stifles with well let down hocks, excelled on the move, presented in a lovely jacket, RBOB.

2. Tester’s Lindcoly Miss Minnie at Airytykes. Young w/t bitch of just over 12 months, feminine head and expression but would like a slightly stronger muzzle, ears well placed, intelligent eye, good body proportions, needs to settle in her movement as she matures, coat needs more condition.

Porter-Manning/Porter’s Roxway Sun Flower among Wallaroo. 3 year old w/t bitch, feminine head where her ears could be a little better set, strong neck, straight legs and good angles, firm level top-line with good tail set, she moved out with a clean stride and was presented in good coat and condition.

2. Roberts’ Navigareamor Storm Isha. Well presented young w/t bitch of 2 years, feminine expressive head with a lovely disposition, she was balanced with decent proportions and was well muscled throughout, good forechest and depth of brisket, lacked in animation on the move.

NORWICH TERRIER

1. Graves’ Without Fear or Favour at Pipsacre. Lovely young red bitch of 8 months, broad feminine skull and small dark expressive eyes, strong neck and well laid shoulder, neat elbows, compact with well sprung rib, round feet, moved with a free stride, RBOB, BP & PG4.

2. Page’s Ragus Another Coin. Red wheaten male of 11 months, masculine head and expression, nicely placed erect ears, strong neck with good angles and held a level top-line standing and moving, just preferred the overall proportions of class winner.

1. Graves’ Pipsacre Along Came Polly. Red bitch of 2½ years, feminine expressive head with dark eye, liked her overall proportions, she had a strong neck leading into a tidy front assembly, neat elbows and well sprung rib, good body proportions, she moved out with a clean stride.

2. Page’s Ragus Eye Paint. B/T bitch of 14 months, feminine head with well set ears and dark eye, strong neck with good angles front and rear, level top-line and well sprung rib, again another where I preferred the overall proportions of the class winner, not quite settled on the move.

1. Graves’ Pipsacre Wasn’t Me. Red male of 18 months, liked his compact outline and substance, broad skull and masculine head with lovely expression, small dark eye, good front and rear angulation with level top-line, he was balanced and active on the move, presented in a quality hard coat, BOB.

2. Page’s Winflash Ask Moi. Red bitch of 16 months who had type, she had a feminine expressive head with erect ears and dark eye, she was compact and held a good top-line, today she was very unsettled in her rear movement making her difficult to assess.

Young bitch of just 9 months, strong feminine head of good length, dark eyes, neat ears well placed, lovely length of neck, well laid shoulder, tidy elbows, sound top-line, well muscled rear which she used to good effect on the move, she was free and showed good drive from the rear, coat developing, BOB & BP.

Beautifully presented bitch of 7½ months, lean head with expressive eye, good muzzle, low set ears, good neck leading into a well placed shoulder, balanced angles front and rear, good feet and bone, well sprung rib, level top-line, moved with excellent reach and drive, couldn’t look past her for BOB & BP, pleased to hear she was later awarded PG3 in the Gundog Puppy Group.

Liver/white bitch of 17 months, feminine head with expressive eye, wide nostrils, well set ears, long neck leading into a sound front assembly, correct top-line, well sprung rib and deep chest, she moved out with a ground covering stride and was presented in clean well muscled condition, BOB.

2. Ovel’s Heartbury Valentino at Jimaura. Upstanding liver/white male of 13 months and very mature for his age, masculine head and expression, straight legs of good bone with oval feet, good depth to his chest with well sprung rib, not as settled today on the move as class winner.

1. Barham’s Alozia Zephryne. Liver/white bitch, 2½ years, feminine with lovely expressive eye, good depth of chest with straight forelegs, oval bone and feet, well sprung rib, she was well muscled throughout and had ideal body proportions, movement could have been tidier going away. 

2. Ovel’s Alozia Zara at Jimaura. Liver/white bitch, 2½ years and litter sister to class winner with similar attributes, feminine head with kind expression, wide nostrils, well set ears, good depth to her chest and balanced angles, top-line could be better, moved out ok.

Liver/white bitch, 5½ years, liked her shape and balance, feminine head with kind expression, straight legs with good bone and feet, good angles front and rear with good depth of chest and well sprung rib, good tail set and carriage, she moved out well with a clean smooth stride, RBOB.

2. Thorpe/Bircham’s Wilchrimane Adagio at Braegorse. Orange/white dog, 6 years, liked him for balance and proportions, very well muscled throughout, masculine head and expression, good depth of chest, he was sound on the move, just tended to stand a little wide in front and was ‘toeing’ in on return.

1. Shakeshaft’s Sandhaven Caribbean Queen. Yellow bitch of 21 months, broad yet feminine head with well set ears and kind expression, straight legs, good feet and bone, nicely proportioned, little loose in hock going away but she moved out well with an easy free stride, BOB.

1. Way’s Incantator Fabulinus. Yellow dog, 3½ years, masculine head and expression, good strength in muzzle, well set ears, adequate angles front and rear, good feet and bone, he could have had a better coat and handler needs to be aware of his speed on the go round, lovely biddable temperament.

1. Davis’ Rochevale Palm Reader JW. Black bitch, lovely feminine head and expressive eye, strong neck into a well placed shoulder, good depth of chest and well ribbed, correct bone and good feet, she tended to lose her top-line standing and moving, moved ok, RBOB.

2. Sadler’s Talifen Gentleman Jack. Yellow dog, 5½ years, masculine broad head and kind expression, could have a better bite and would have preferred a cleaner front, he had a good depth of chest and carried a level top-line, moved out ok.

Pretty bitch, 7 months, balanced head with defined stop, well developed nostrils, expressive eye, long neck into a lovely shoulder placement, well sprung rib, liked her body proportions, good feet and bone, she was free and balanced on the move and turned out in immaculate coat and condition, BOB & BP.

1. Burchmore/Bowd/Smith’s Lenamore Renegade (AI). Well presented male of 18 months, masculine head and expression with well placed ears, good eye, would like a better bite, deep chest and well laid shoulder, firm top-line which he carried well, moved out with a clean stride. 

2. Jessup’s Lenamore Savage Love. Feminine bitch of 18 months and litter sister to class winner, another where I would like a better bite, expressive eye and well set ears, firm top-line and well muscled, quite unsettled on the move.

Cooper/Mullin’s Gilstonia Maggie May. 2 year old bitch who was feminine with a lovely expression, good neck leading into a sound front assembly, good depth of chest, straight legs of good bone, firm top-line, coat could have been a richer red, moved well in profile but a little close in the rear going away, RBOB.

2. Wallington’s Ferndel Renzo at Rovinjdal. Male, 2½ years, preferred the overall proportions of class winner, masculine expression, good neck, felt he could be more compact in outline as a little leggy for me, unsettled on the move.

1. Cooper’s Gilstonia Snow Moon. Bitch, 6 years, feminine head and expression but would have liked better proportions overall, she had good feet and bone and a firm top-line but her movement was ‘short stepping’ and today she was unwilling to co-operate with her handler.

Really promising white/black bitch of just 7 months, feminine head with flat skull and slight stop, expressive oval eye, muscular neck into a pleasing front assembly, she had good proportions and was balanced all through, level top-line and well muscled rear, she moved out with a brisk free gait, it was a shame she stood alone today but this didn’t detract from her win, a lovely example of this charming breed, BOB & BP.

Lovely tricolour bitch puppy of just 6 months, most feminine head, dark eye giving that required soft expression, she was compact and balanced, slightly domed in skull with well defined stop, long ears, good depth of chest, shoulders well laid, neat elbows, level top-line, she moved with a free ground covering stride, BP.

2. Rushforth’s Charterwood Speciality of Campionfield. Well presented tan/white bitch of 10 months, feminine head and expression, standing a little wide in front, balanced angles fore and aft with level top-line, she had good depth of chest and was well ribbed, moved out with a steady stride.

1. Rushforth’s Campionfield Scrumptious. Tricolour bitch, 16 months, feminine expression and dark eye giving a soft expression although her wrinkle did detract slightly, straight forelegs and good feet, she kept her outline standing and moving, good depth of chest and well sprung rib, moved out with a free stride, RBOB.

2. Borg’s Alibor Gingerbread. Tan/white bitch, 22 months, feminine head and soft expression, stop well defined, she looked well in profile, she was compact with good forechest and depth of brisket, good reach of neck into a sound front assembly, firm top-line, she was balanced and free on the move.

Red brindle male of 3½ years, strong and powerfully built but with that degree of elegance, head of good length, small ears set well, strong and well muscled neck, chest well let down, good bend of stifle and strong hocks, easy and free on the move, BOB.

Male, 13 months, what a confident young man moving around the ring and he ticked many boxes for me, lean wedge shaped head, expressive eye and large ears carried erectly, correct body proportions, well set and carried tail, he was presented in lovely condition and I loved his character, a promising future ahead, RBOB.

Really liked this bitch of 3 years, feminine in head and expression, she used her ears to good effect and had a lovely dark eye, she had a nice outline both standing and moving, good angles front and rear, level top-line and well muscled, she moved with a brisk clean stride, BOB.

1. Nevison’s Bikquest Sunshine Ember. Young red wheaten bitch of 15 months, feminine head and expression, broad head of good length, round eye, well set ears, strong neck, well muscled, she moved freely.

2. Nevison’s Bikquest Helios Sunreacher. Red wheaten dog of 15 months, upstanding and over height for my preference, masculine head, expressive eye, level back, loaded on his shoulders and nails need attention, moved ok.

2. Cox/Musgrave’s Carlincox Knock Ya Socks Off. Red wheaten dog, 2 years, very strong and masculine in head which was of good length with well set ears and defined stop, sound angles front and rear, tended to lose his top-line both standing and moving, preferred the proportions on class winner.

Red wheaten bitch of 2 years and the clear winner for BOB today, feminine head and expression, well set ears and strong muzzle, she was balanced throughout with good angles front and rear, excellent feet and bone, she moved out with excellent reach and drive and looked beautiful on the stand, she had a different handler in the Group and wasn’t happy at all which was disappointing, BOB.

Litter sister to previous class winner and held the same attributes albeit in a feminine form, gentle expression with lovely large oval eye, excellent lay of shoulder, her proportions were ideal and she was well muscled throughout, withdrawn for BOB at handler’s request, a beautiful bitch who moved with a smooth stride.

Eye-catching brindle/WT 10 month old bitch, long lean head with slight stop and gentle expression, oval eye, well set ears, well placed shoulder with good depth to her chest, she was so well muscled and had a beautiful outline all through, straight legs with oval feet, so free and accurate on the move, delighted to award her BP & PG1.

2. Reece’s Velandor Illuminada over Saleehah. Black mask/WT bitch of just 7 months, liked her feminine head and expression, she was balanced in her angles front and rear, straight legs, oval feet, good depth in brisket with well sprung ribs, well bent stifle, moved out with a long easy stride, well muscled.

1. Hunter’s Dapperdiva Sugar and Spice at Salatini. Bitch of nearly 18 months, fawn/WT and another beautifully presented, lean head with the most expressive eye, well set ears and slight stop, lovely length of neck leading into a well set shoulder, good depth, straight legs and oval feet, liked her outline both standing and moving, long tail, moved freely in all directions.

2. Pye’s Lolani Under The Influence of Perromono. Bitch of 19 months, fawn/WT, feminine head and expression with well set ears, long elegant neck leading into a sound front assembly with good depth of chest, well ribbed back, preferred the overall shape and movement of class winner but she did move with an easy gait.

2. Carlton/Olney’s Chiendetom Melody. Fawn brindle/WT, 2 year old bitch with a feminine expressive head, long elegant neck leading into a well placed shoulder, good depth to her brisket and well sprung rib, straight legs with oval feet, strong pasterns, preferred top-line of 1, she moved out with a free stride.

Really liked this attractive brindle/white parti bitch of nearly 4 years, she appealed for her overall balance and elegant outline, beautiful feminine head with expressive eye, long lean head with well set ears, lovely length of neck leading into a very sound front shoulder placement, she had good depth to her brisket and was well ribbed back with a graceful arch over loin, tail set and carriage was good, she had pleasing width of 1st and 2nd thigh and was well muscled throughout, excelled in her free movement, BOB & G2.

2. Reece’s Saleehah Moonflower. Brindle/white parti bitch of nearly 7 years with the darkest of eye aiding that gentle expression, feminine throughout with good angles front and rear, she had straight legs and oval feet, good depth of brisket and well sprung in rib, she was presented in fit well muscled condition and moved around the ring with a free, easy gait.

Well presented bitch of 9 months, feminine head and expression, moderate stop and well set ears, good angulation front and rear, strong neck and ribs carried well back, top-line could have been better but she moved out freely, BAVNSCP & RAVNSC.

Bitch of 3 years, long fine head with flat skull, slight stop, almond expressive eye, lovely length of leg, well placed ears, good body proportions, round feet but nails could do with some attention, when she settled into her stride she showed a lovely light action and covered the ground well, BIR.

G3 Gaskin’s Ir Ch. Hampdach I Am The One and Only at Dovestream.  Dachshund (SH). 3 year old male who was presented in excellent condition, lovely masculine head with expressive eye, good body proportions, took a while to settle on the stand but he moved out well.

G4 Allchorne’s Nelgus Golden Nugget. Basset Hound. This 3 year old male was a lovely example of this breed, lovely head with lozenge shaped eye and well developed nostrils, ears well set and good angles fore and aft, long body of good depth, powerful and effortless on the move.

PG2 Gaskin’s Hampdach Force Awakens with Dovestream. Dachshund (SH). Promising male of 11 months, masculine head and expression with dark eye and well placed ears, good angles and body proportions, moved out well.


PG3 Guernari/Dane’s Soletrader Basil Fawlty. Basset Griffon Vendeen (Petit). Male of 11 months, balanced and compact, held his head well, dark oval eye, well laid back shoulder, firm level top-line, good bend of stifle, good tail set which he carried well, free on the move.

Lovely male of nearly 8 years, balanced and elegant, long lean head with slight stop, oval eyes with lovely expression, shoulders well laid, oval feet, good depth of brisket and well ribbed back, graceful arch over loin, moved with a free stride, pleased to see he was awarded RBVIS later in the day. 

2. Bailey’s Glasvey Double Trouble for Loggeta JW VW. Dachshund (LH). Beautifully presented bitch of 9 years who was very fidgety! She had a lovely feminine head and expression, sound body proportions and good top-line, she moved out with a steady clean stride.
