DAY ONE CHIHUAHUA (SMOOTH COAT) P 1(0) 1. Platek/Holmes’ Laptek Cool Hand Luke at Cazants. White male of just 6 months who had a lovely round dark eye, well rounded skull and correct muzzle, well set ears, he was nicely proportioned with a good lay of shoulder, firm top-line, tail could be carried better but he was a little anxious today, presented in excellent coat and condition, BP. SY 6(1) 1. Wright’s Monicachi Splash The Cash for Angique. Fawn and white male of 16 months who gave a good account of himself today and oozed confidence, he had a masculine head which was well rounded, lovely eye and well set ears, I liked his proportions and angles and when he settled he moved with purpose, a little wide in his front coming towards me but he moved beautifully in profile, BOB. 2. Obringer’s Yue De Petit Roi Mojito Chiaffie. Another lovely example of this charming breed, fawn bitch of 16 months, feminine well rounded head and round eye, could have used her ears better to aid her expression, small feet and well let down in brisket, she had good proportions and moved well when she settled into her stride. 3. Blue/fawn bitch of 2½ years, beautifully presented with a feminine head and expression with dark round eye, well set and used ears, good lay back of shoulder and correct proportions, liked her overall angles, she moved well when she settled into her stride. 2. Fellone/Priestley’s Emarachis Ninja. Black and tan bitch of 21 months, feminine head, dark eye, I found her to be a little square and lacking in angulation for my preference, she showed some fair profile movement but was erratic moving away in the rear. O 3(1) 1. Stading’s Toltechi’s Dante Le Poete JW. 2 years old, masculine tricolour with well rounded skull, dark eye, correct muzzle and slightly arched neck, well proportioned throughout, good depth of brisket and well sprung ribs, well set tail and carriage, could have been tidier going away in the rear. 2. Holmes’ Cazants Dame Gothal. Cream and white bitch of nearly 2 years, feminine head with dark eye and well set ears, a little short in the leg for balance but she had fair angulation and moved ok. CHIHUAHUA (LONG COAT) P 3(0) 1. Fellone’s French Connection Right Royal of Emerachis (imp CZE). Sable young male of just 7 months who brimmed with confidence, lovely masculine head and dark eye, well used ears, medium length of neck, deep brisket and well ribbed, moved out like a true professional, carried his tail well and was presented in excellent coat and condition, BP. 2. Gilling’s Chantico Black Diamond of Talocan (IKC). Black and white bitch of 9 months with well rounded skull and dark eye, small feet and correct bone, deep brisket, well sprung rib, just preferred proportions to 1, moved out well with confidence. 3. Cryz’s Flaming Lamborghini Right Royal (imp CZE). SY 4(1) 1. Cryz’s Flaming Lamborghini Right Royal (imp CZE). 3rd in previous class, black and tan bitch of 7 months who was quite anxious today, well rounded skull with dark eye, good spring of rib, she needs more confidence and to settle in her movement, she carried her tail well and was presented in excellent coat. 2. Fellone’s Emarachis Slay The Day. Cream bitch of 14 months, well set ears, good dome to skull, feminine expression, she carried a firm top-line and had good angles front and rear, good depth and well sprung ribs, moved steadily when settled, would prefer a better tail carriage. 3. Biggs’ Bluchilli Badger. This male requires far more condition. L 5(0) 1. Gilling’s Rubyanlo Tommy Hilfiger of Talocan JW. Very smart 2 year old sable dog who I liked very much, lovely masculine domed skull with round dark eye, medium neck leading into a well laid shoulder, small feet and correct bone, good depth of brisket and well sprung rib, ideal proportions and balance, he moved freely and was presented in a well maintained coat. 2. Warrington’s Bramerita Hallelujah. Red sable/white male of 2 years, masculine head and expression, preferred the overall angles and proportions of 1, good depth of brisket and spring of rib, could be a little straighter in his front, moved ok. 3. Fellone’s Emarchis Black Beauty. O 4(0) 1. Sparrow’s Ch. Casarow’s Albakirkkey JW. Fawn sable male of nearly 2 years and not surprised to see he had his title, what a confident outgoing character, well rounded masculine skull with dark eye, small feet and correct bone, good neck leading into a super front assembly, excellent firm top-line that he carried well standing and moving, good spring of rib and depth of brisket, moved out as if he owned the ring, presented in a super quality jacket, shortlisted in a large Toy group, BOB. 2. Obringer’s Chihohit Favorite Nonpareil Charm Chiaffie. White and cream bitch of 5 years where I preferred the overall angles and proportions of the class winner, feminine head with lovely expression, small feet, firm top-line, coat could have been in better condition but she moved out ok. 3. Wills’ Dorenty’s Chuckleberry Fin. JAPANESE CHIN SY 1(0) 1. Pearson’s Sharlarna Pretty Boy Floyd at Ereste’s. Smart black and white male of 11 months, very excitable making him very difficult to assess on the table, moderately broad skull, short muzzle, could be darker in eye, well set ears, proportions could be better, hare foot, well set and carried tail, very unsettled on the move but was presented in a quality coat. L 1(0) 1. Pearson’s Ereste’s Raffles Exclusive. 5 year old black and white male, broad skull with well set ears, short muzzle, dark eye well placed, had decent angles although proportions could be better, straight legs with fine bone, hare foot, tail feathering could be better, moved out with a steady reach, BOB. Red/white male of 7 years, masculine head although would like more length to muzzle, dark eyes, could have a better lay of shoulder, hare foot, toeing in when coming towards me and carrying far too much weight for ideal. LOWCHEN (LITTLE LION DOG) P 1(0) 1. Dixon’s Golbourne Dazzling Diamond. Bitch of 7½ months with a lovely temperament but I wouldn’t want her any bigger, broad skull, defined stop, round eye, good angles front and rear, level top-line, throwing her front a little on the move but I’m sure this will settle with maturity, presented in excellent coat, BOB & BP. DALMATIAN P 6(3) 1. Marley/Clement’s A Spottified Young Forseti for Perdita’s (imp BEL). Balanced young male of 10½ months, head of good length, he was masculine with a flat skull and well placed ears, shoulders well placed with good depth of brisket, straight legs with round bone and compact feet, excellent top-line, well spotted, moved out with a free stride, BP. 2. Carroll’s Salvadorada Morpheus of Dalpaulisa. Very excitable male of just 6½ months, masculine head and expression, good feet and bone, he had a good lay of shoulder and balanced proportions, level top-line and strong loin, needs to settle all round to see a better picture on the move. 3. Newton’s Salvadorada Light It Up for Chizzmic. SY 5(2) 1. Cattermole/Richards’ Anima Cordis Man In The Mirror for Kalvadene for Hafwenna (imp POL). Male of 14 months, good length of head, oval eyes, flat skull and well set ears, good bone and compact feet, level top-line, moved out with a free stride. 2. Cox/Cartwright’s Strayaroo Thredbo. Male of 19 months, even though a male I would like more refinement in head and a darker eye, deep brisket with good bone and feet, lacked forechest, level top-line, moved ok and was presented in hard condition. 3. Newton’s Salvadorada Light It Up for Chizzmic. L 6(0) 1. Goodswen’s Alphadal’s Royal Rainbow. Balanced and feminine bitch of nearly 2 years, kind expression, good length of head, well set ears and flat skull, she had an elegant outline standing and moving, round bone and compact feet, firm top-line, she had a good length of neck leading into a super front assembly, she had personality plus and moved out with a free ground reaching stride, BOB and pleased to see her awarded G1 later in the day. 2. Ward’s Louabidora Show Stopper at Frankish. Another lovely bitch of quality, liked her feminine head and expression, she had a flat skull and well placed eyes and ears, she had a lovely length of neck and excellent front angulation, she was balanced all through with good muscle, firm top-line and well angulated strong rear, she lacked a little in animation today. 3. Newton/Newton-O’Brien’s Cotterspot Nidderdale Lady of Chizzmic. O 5(1) 1. Cox/Cartwright’s Stayaroo Lightning Ridge. Nicely balanced bitch of 19 months, flat skull and well set ears, feminine expression, good length of neck leading into a well placed front assembly, good depth of brisket, well ribbed back, sound hindquarters which were well muscled, she could be a little firmer in her top-line, presented well. 2. TIBETAN SPANIEL P 5(2) 1. Blackshaw/Roberts’ Clydum Magic Maid. Lovely young fawn bitch of 10 months who oozed confidence and personality, feminine head and expression, dark bright oval eyes, correct undershot mouth, excellent coat, lovely proportions and well tail set, moved accurately and with a positive gait, BP and awarded PG3 later in the day. 2. Whitehead’s Oldcharm Love Is All. Gold sable bitch of just 6½ months, full of character, slightly domed skull, dark brown eyes, ideal body proportions, good spring of rib, level top-line, hare foot, moved out steadily and presented in excellent coat, just carrying a little too much condition. SY 4(3) 1. Blackshaw/Roberts’ Souska Go With Your Heart. Beautifully presented gold male of 15 months, excellent temperament, masculine head and expression, correct bite, dark bright eye, strong neck leading into a good shoulder placement, good body proportions with well laid shoulder, good spring of rib, when he settled he moved out with a positive free gait, BOB and shortlisted in the Group later in the day. L 4(3) 1. Gilling’s Kentwone Epsilon of Talocan. 4½ year old gold sable male, masculine head and expression with dark eye, good muzzle, mouth could be tidier, strong neck, good bone and feet, balanced proportions with well set tail that he carried well, moved out with a steady stride. O 1(0) 1. Gilling’s Princess Mulan Ilharess of Talocan JW (imp POL). 4 year old cream sable bitch, feminine head and expression with dark eye, mouth could be neater, well set ears, level back with firm top-line, good bone and hare foot, tail set correctly and carried well, presented in excellent coat of good quality, could be tidier going away and a little unco-operative on the move. TIBETAN TERRIER SY 2(0) 1. James-Collins/Collins’ Remmus Under My Spell. Black/white male of 16 months, masculine head and expression with good bite, well laid shoulder with good bone and feet, level top-line, nice outline overall, very excitable but once he settled showed some sound movement in all directions, presented in excellent coat and hard condition, BOB. 2. Ashby-Legg’s Renvall’s Neon Leon at Togepi. Male of 22 months, not in the condition of class winner, masculine head with dark eye, good pigment and well set ears, preferred the angles fore and rear of 1st, showed some fair profile movement but untidy going away from me, coat needs time. Jerrett’s Coldelee Busy Bein Fabulous. Collie (Smooth). Bitch of 11½ months, very feminine in head and expression, almond shaped dark brown eye, well set and carried ears, good lay of shoulder with good depth in brisket, well ribbed back to strong hindquarters, liked her outline, very accurate on the move. 3. Australian Shepherd. 8½ year old red bitch, nicely balanced feminine head with well set ears and strong muzzle, good reach of neck into a pleasing front assembly, sound top-line, she had good bone and feet and was in excellent coat and hard condition, very accurate and free on the move. 2. Alaskan Malamute. 7 year old bitch, strong feminine head without being coarse, well set ears, strong neck leading into a well set shoulder, sound and firm in top-line, good bone and feet, strong hindquarters which she used to good effect on the move. 3. Guy’s Gladsheim Acer at Jumasue. Kooikerhondje. DAY TWO AIREDALE TERRIER L 1(0) 1. Hall’s Muliebrity Purple Princess avec Tonerrier. Well presented smart bitch of nearly 3 years, dark appealing eye, flat skull and head of good length, strong jaw and good bite, small ears, well laid back shoulder, ribs well sprung, compact feet and good bone, she moved out with a steady stride although lacked a little animation, BOB. BORDER TERRIER SY 4(1) 1. Haughton’s Chorbeck All That Jazz. Nicely presented dog of 13 months, grizzle/tan, lovely dark eye and expression, strong muzzle, small well set ears, straight forelegs of correct bone with small feet, easily spanned, thick pelt, good body proportions, well set and carried tail, moved out with confidence and a free stride, BOB & G4. 2. Barber’s Alcumlow Sip and Swirl JW. Very pretty blue/tan bitch of 18 months, feminine head and lovely expression with melting dark eye, liked her shape overall, good shoulder and sound, firm top-line, good ribs and easily spanned, she moved out with a clean, brisk stride and presented in a quality harsh coat. 3. Peake’s Chorbeck Jazz Blues. L 5(4) 1. Haughton’s Chorbeck All That Jazz. Repeat. O 2(1) 1. Keeffe’s Keebank Just In Time. Grizzle/tan male of 6½ years, masculine head and dark eye, well set ears and strong muzzle, well laid shoulder with level top-line and good tail set and carriage, moved steadily, just a little too heavy throughout for my preference. RETRIEVER (LABRADOR) (Supported Entry by NW Labrador Retriever Club) P 2(1) 1. Gordon-Smith/Bibby’s Bruxinho Ginkgo Biloba. 9 months, yellow male, had there been a “Personality of The Show” today, he would have secured this title with no problem at all! It was so lovely to see a show dog in total rapport with his owner and the tail furiously wagged to confirm this. He was strongly built with a broad masculine skull and strong jaw, he had the kindest of expression with a gentle brown eye, strong well muscled neck, chest of good depth and level top-line, barrel ribs, lovely shape both standing and moving, round feet and good bone, correct otter tail, he was free and active on the move covering the ground with ease, I couldn’t look past him today for BOB & BP, pleased to see he achieved G2 & PG1 later in the day. SY 4(1) 1. Gordon-Smith/Bibby’s Meadowline Whizz Bang at Bruxinho JW. Appealing and well presented black bitch of 16 months, full of herself, melting brown eye, well set ears and strong muzzle with good bite, she had forechest and a good reach of neck leading into a pleasing shoulder placement, well sprung barrel ribs, firm level top-line, she was well muscled throughout with strong hindquarters, would just like her a little firmer in hock. 2. Elvidge’s Pevensie’s Queen Lucy. Another nicely presented bitch of 21 months, yellow, broad feminine skull with well set ears, muscular neck leading into a pleasing front assembly, good bone and compact feet, she had lovely angles front and rear and was shown in a good jacket, moved out with a steady gait. 3. Hughes’ Riverflow Midnight Legacy NAF TAF. PG 6(4) 1. Smith’s Meadowline Heartbreaker JW. 3½ year old black male, very strong masculine head with expressive eye, strong muzzle, could be a fraction up on the leg for my preference, well laid shoulder and good depth of brisket, firm top-line and good tail carriage, a little overdone for me but he moved out well enough with a clean free stride. 2. Markham’s Knowjoes Bwalya Sabine Ania. 5½ year old black bitch, feminine expressive kind head, lacked strength in underjaw, well set ears, not the angulation of my class winner, well sprung rib, short strong loin and well carried tail, a little untidy in the rear going away from me. L 3(1) 1. Gordon-Smith/Bibby’s Bruxinho Feeling Epic. 2 year old yellow bitch presented in well muscled hard condition, kind eye and expression, well set ears and strong muzzle, retained incisor, nice shape standing and moving, good bone with compact feet, needs to tighten in rear going away, showed sound profile movement and carried an effective short dense coat. 3. Markham’s Knowjoes Bwalya Sabine Ania. Repeat. O 2(1) 1. Gower’s Aughtonchase Honey Pie. Yellow bitch of 6½ years, she was very feminine all through with a kind head and expression, I liked her outline standing, firm top-line, good bone and compact feet, deep brisket and well ribbed with good spring, balanced angles fore and rear, lacked a little animation on the move today. RETREIVER (NOVA SCOTIA DUCK TOLLING) P 4(2) 1. Morse’s Sinsircariad Celtic Dragon. Well presented bitch of 7 months, feminine head and kind expression, moderate stop, ears high set, good bone and round feet, level top-line, balanced angles front and rear, a little loose in the rear going away but showed some steady free profile movement, BP. 2. Bule’s Red Pepper Toller Victory via Dreambig (imp ITA). Promising young male of 6 months who was full of confidence but needs to settle in order to be properly assessed, he had a masculine head and lovely expression, when he settled he showed a good outline standing and moving, presented in profuse coat. L 3(0) 1. Morse’s Eusanit Celtic Sea at Sinsircariad. A very smart and well presented bitch of 6 years, most feminine head and expressive eye with well set high ears, muscular neck leading into a well laid shoulder, neat elbows, well muscled rear which she used to good effect on the move, ideal body proportions and shown in excellent coat and condition, BOB. 2. Brand’s Coedhelyg Jingle All The Way. 5 year old male who was very unsettled on the move today, would like a slightly more masculine head but he had well laid shoulders and good depth to his brisket, his top-line could be firmer but he moved with a steady gait, lacked a little in condition. 3. Trueman’s Cretshengan Lake Itasca (AI). O 3(0) 1. Trueman’s Croftwell Tickety Boo. Feminine bitch of 7½ years, friendly expressive eye, well set ears, good shoulder placement and sound in top-line, nice outline standing and moving, good spring of rib and strong hindquarters, moved out well with a clean, steady stride, presented in good coat. 2. Adshead’s Afonbach Syrax JW. Soundly made bitch of 3½ years, broad feminine skull, expressive kind eye, flat cheeks, she had good angles front and rear and carried a firm top-line, good depth of brisket, well ribbed with strong loin, unsettled today on the move, she would certainly benefit from a large outdoor ring. 3. Gough’s Cretshengan Kitchi Lake (AI). SPANISH WATER DOG A lovely breed, I was disappointed that an exhibit arrived late and missed their class. L 1(0) 1. Kehoe’s Valentina De Canagua at Aguamarina (imp ESP). Brown bitch of 22 months where I would prefer a slightly better length of leg for balance, feminine head and expressive dark oval eye, muscular neck leading into a good shoulder placement, level back, coat of good texture, sound rear quarters, brisk and sound movement. O 1(0) 1. Kehoe’s Delimore Varpu at Aguamarina (imp FIN). Brown male of 4 years, masculine head and lovely expression with dark eye, preferred his body proportions to previous class winner, he had a muscular strong neck leading into a sound front assembly, nice overall shape both standing and moving, moved out freely, BOB. IRISH SETTER L 2(1) 1. Gilks’ Suteresett Mr Mistoffelees at Gochmawr. Male of 6½ years presented in lovely condition, masculine lean head of good length, melting dark brown eye giving a kind expression, good depth of chest, straight forelegs of good bone, good angles front and rear although would have liked to see a little more reach and drive on the move, in an excellent rich chestnut coat and hard condition. 1. Cohen’s Lynwood Merry May King with Shushana. Another male of 6½ years, lean head with oval skull of good length, dark almond eye with that soft kind expression, muscular neck of good length, well laid shoulder and typical top-line, deep chest with well sprung ribs, moved well with good reach and drive, freer on the move than 1st, his coat could have been presented better, BOB. WEIMARANER Many thanks to the exhibitors today on a full house. P 3(0) A lovely class of puppies. 1. Hostler’s Theondale High Hopes. Bitch of 11 months, feminine head and expression with round eye, long ears set high, good length of neck, balanced angulation front and rear, level and firm top-line, deep chest and ribs well sprung, compact feet, strong hindquarters which she used to good effect when moving, in hard well muscled condition, BP and pleased to see her PG3 later. 2. Longbottom/Milby’s Gunalt Beewicked. Another lovely puppy, a quality young male of just 6½ months, masculine head with keen expression and round eye, high set ears, he had good angles and was balanced front and rear, brimmed with confidence, good body proportions and well let down hocks, he was handled sympathetically to bring out his best and moved on a free stride. 3. Beautifully balanced 2 year old male of lovely quality, head of good length with moderate stop, round eyes and well set ears of correct length, straight forelegs of good bone with compact feet, level top-line and excellent angles throughout, good body proportions, he was free and effortless on the move when settled into his stride. 2. West’s Gunalt Frequency by Hantu (AI) JW. Appealing 2 year old bitch with lots to like about her, feminine and expressive head with balance in her skull, liked her overall body proportions, she had a well laid shoulder with good depth in her chest, level top-line and ribs extending well back, sound in her rear, she moved effectively. 3. Pilatova’s Sabsky Sasanka. O 2(0) 1. West’s Sh Ch. Gunalt Wavelength JW ShCEx OSW. Impressive 5½ year old bitch of lovely quality, most feminine but aristocratic head, expressive eye and strong jaw, well set ears, she had a good length of neck leading into a super front assembly with balanced rear, well ribbed back with strong loin, she had strength in her rear quarters with well let down hocks, moved out with a free effortless stride, BOB and pleased to see her gain G4 later in the day. 2. Pilatova’s Sabsky Svratka JW. 4½ year old bitch, feminine head with keen expression, good forechest, preferred overall proportions of class winner although she had decent angles front and rear with a firm top-line, today she was a little un-coordinated in her movement and was loose moving away from me in the rear. Pleasing Whippet male of 3½ years, red fawn/white particolour, lean head with slight stop, kind oval eyes with lovely expression, well set ears, elegant neck leading into well laid shoulders, deep in brisket with well sprung ribs, oval feet, liked his proportions and shapely outline, moved well. 3. Well presented red wheaten Rhodesian Ridgeback bitch of 7½ years, good length of skull with well defined stop, strong muzzle, round eye, well placed ears, strong neck leading into a pleasing front assembly, strong hindquarters which she used to good effect on the move. 2. Male of 5 years who I judged in his breed class today, broad skull with medium eye and very friendly expression, strong neck into a well laid shoulder, neat elbows, round feet, moved freely, out of coat today. 3.
