Thank you to the society for the invitation and their hospitality throughout the day. Grateful thanks also to my 2 stewards, one who I understand had never stewarded before but who did a great job of keeping the paperwork in order. From a very nice line up I chose the JRT Saredon Modern Times, a 2.5 yr old d presented in good harsh coat, great head shape with such a cheeky glint coming from his dark eyes, well angulated in front and behind and moving out freely and accurately RBIS and BPIS was the Norwegian Elkhound Whittimere Spexy Beast, a 6mth old d who along with being very well constructed, has showmanship in abundance, compact in shape with wedge head developing nicely and who impressed me on the move striding out effortlessly and easily around the ring, a champion in the making for sure. RBPIS was the Pug Conquell Cause No Bother, a 10mth d, such a smart boy with an excellent head and good pigment, strong neck and cobby body, so lovely on the move reaching well in front, BVIS was the Flatcoat Levelmoor Acorn Antiques Via Wetnoses a 7.5 yr b whose coat was gleaming in the sun, despite her obvious facial injury I found her head very appealing with well set ears used to enhance her expression, she has a lovely length of neck into well laid shoulders on to a firm topline and well set ever wagging tail, very sound on the move showing good reach and drive RBVIS was the German Spitz CH Perrymere Just Bertie JW judged by myself earlier in the day and who was still showing off here in the line up. Whippets P (1,1) J (4,2) 1 Bowyers Crosscop Arabella 14mth fawn/white b a very attractive and feminine b with a pleasing head of good length and strong tapering jaw, lovely neck and shoulders, deep in brisket and well developed in the rear, carries herself nicely on the move striding out freely around the ring 2 Ryans Riocife Moonology a handsome brindle/white d with shapely and graceful outline but he is a little broad in backskull for my preference, he stands well in front on straight forelegs and flexible pasterns, shoulders are well placed and he has a good depth of brisket, muscular hindquarter and propels himself soundly around the ring, PG (6,2) 1 Lawleys Crosscop Enticing Lawleymoon 22mth brindle/white an elegant and feminine b with a lovely head and well shaped eye giving a bright and intelligent expression, neck is of good length and slightly arched into well placed shoulders, she is deep in brisket with a shapely underline and moved out soundly and accurately holding her shape lots to like here 2 Riocife Moonology 3 Edwards Lawleymoon Ereza Mar At Landsbirch O (6,3) 1 and BOB, HG2 Ryans Riocife To The Moon And Back 14mth brindle/white b who had everything I was looking for in my top winner today, she is full of quality with a beautiful head and lovely dark eye exuding a bright expression, excellent neck and well laid shoulders, shapely body with depth to chest and a slight arch in topline over the loin, her hindquarters are muscular and well developed and she moved out smoothly and freely with good drive 2 and RBOB Halliday and Croxfords Aarminias French Fancy At Whittimere 3 ½ black/white another very nice exhibit and shapely in all the right places, she stands true in front on strong pasterns and neat feet with muscular well angulated hindquarters and moved out freely holding her topline, I just preferred the head of the winner today b 3 Vaughan-Walls Shirotae Paws For A Song Akita O (1,1) Dalmatians J (5,3) 1 Wilkins Salvadorada Look At Me 15mth liver this young girls overall shape and happy attitude impressed me very much although I felt she was carrying just a tad too much weight which did affect her topline a little , she has an attractive head with dark oval eye and a keen expression, forelegs are straight and strong and she has ample depth of brisket for her age, strong in loin and hindquarters and moving out with a good length of stride b 2 Hone Willow Purple a 15 mth black b who was presented in fit hard condition, pleasing head with flat skull and well shaped eye, strong neck into an ample lay of shoulder, when she stood still I could see she has an excellent topline and strong loin, she just needs to settle on the move PG (4,1) 1 and RBOB Cox and Cartwrights Strayaroo Lightning Ridge, a 2 yr b with a very nice outline showing balance and a hint of elegance, she has feminine lightly marked head and a strong neck into well placed shoulders, good spring of rib and depth of brisket but just need to firm up in topline a fraction, strong loin, well developed hindquarters and covering the ground freely with good drive 2 Salvadora Look At Me 3 Honey Willow Purple O (3,1) 1 and BOB Wilkins Salvadorada Hopes N Dreams 3.5 yr black b with a clean and balanced outline, attractive head, strong muzzle and well set ears, good length of neck with slight arch to well placed shoulders, close fitting elbow and well sprung rib, firm topline and strong loin, in profile she covers the ground really well with long strides but could still firm up a little in the rear 2 Growcott-Jones Rodengrove Rudolph a handsome male with good width of skull and neat well set ears, strong neck and moderately boned forelegs but just standing a little e/w in front, good width of chest and depth of chest with a strong ribcage and firm topline, moved out smoothly with plenty of drive French Bulldog P (0) J (0) PG (1) 1 and BOB Poulsons Aldhammills Madamoiselle At Patchdown 17mth brindle b cobby in outline with a good head shape, short muzzle and medium size bat ears set on well, she stands well in front with plenty of width and is moderately angulated in the rear, moved out soundly around the ring, what a shame she missed the group judging later in the day! O (0) German Spitz Klein P (1) 1 and BPIB Bagshaws Bagshire Freddy Flintstone 6mth cream sable d, what a delightful character this young dog is! Pleasing head and excellent use of his ears which added to the appeal, short neck and moderate angulation at the shoulder, straight forelegs and neat feet, strutted his stuff with confidence once he got moving J (2,1) 1 Molores Yanima’s Fleur De Lis 15mth black b presented in abundant coat, good head with lovely dark eye and wedge shape muzzle, well boned forelegs but a little weak in pasterns, almost square in body with moderate angulation front and rear, moved out briskly PG (2,1) 1 and RBOB Bagshaws Shiva’s Step To Kingdom (imp BGR) b/t d with a super outgoing character, square in outline and presented in wonderful coat but not overdone, proportionate head with width to skull, moderate stop and lovely dark eye, enough neck and standing true on front, good topline to high set well curled tail and moving out briskly and accurately all ways O (5,2) 1 and BOB Jackson and Minshall’s CH Perrymere Just Bertie JW at almost 9 yrs old the condition on this cream dog totally belies his age, he has a beautiful head dark with oval eyes emitting such a bright and keen expression and neat high set ears used to enhance this, he stands perfectly true on front on small round feet with a firm topline and well curled tail, presented in a full double coat and moving out briskly and soundly around the ring, a real showman with so much appeal 2 Bagshaws Dream Team Stars Infinite Power (Imp BGR) 2.5 yr orange sable d with a broad skull and proportionate muzzle tapering to nose, small triangular ears which could have been used more, moderate angulation front and rear and moving soundly, for his age I felt he was a little lacking in body today 3 Moores Dream Team Stars Irresistibly Black (Imp BGR) Kooikerhondje P, J, PG (No entries) O (1) 1 and BOB Guys Middanwinter War Horse At Keerelkoor JW 2 yr d only the one present today but made up for the lack of entries by the quality of this one exhibit. At not quite 2 this lovely boy has so much to admire, super head with wedge shaped muzzle, clean well fitting lips and a kind almond eye, he has a very good front with amply boned forelegs and compact feet, firm in topline with a deep chest, muscular hindquarters with well let down hocks and on the move he has that lovely springy action the breed calls for going forward soundly with good drive. Poodle Miniature P (1) 1 Walsh’s Bielcee Silk N Soul 9mth black b with a compact outline and pleasing well proportioned head with dark eye and well fitting lips, long neck into good shoulders and short backed with well angulated quarters, needs to tighten up behind J (1 and BOB, BP Walsh’s Bielcee Satin N Soul 10 mth brown B and sister of the P winner. It would be fair to say this youngster was not cooperating fully with her handler today but that didn’t matter as her quality was evident, she has a good length of head and well placed almond eyes, she is compact in outline with strong straight forelegs and small neat feet, well angulated front and rear and carries herself with elegance as she moves around the ring, a very smart and showy girl which added to her appeal PG (0) O (1 and RBOB Walsh’s Bielcee Dangerous Liaison 19mth black D presented in profuse coat of the correct harsh texture and making an elegant outline, chiselled foreface of good length and well set almond eye, he stands well in front on straight forelegs and strong pasterns with a good spring of rib, ample depth to chest and well angulated in the rear, carries himself elegantly on the move but not the attitude of the J winner today. Poodle Standard P (0) J (1) 1 and BOB Thomas Tafari Odin The Raven God 15mth black d who was well presented and looked well in profile, he has a good length of head with dark almond eye and low set ears, he stands well in front on straight forelegs and small neat feet, needs to develop a little more in chest and rib but he is well angulated in the rear and uses what he has to drive himself forward. Schipperke P (2) 1 and BOB, BP Manners Roopec Oh Emm Gee (NBT) this cheeky little lass showed her socks off here, I loved her cobby outline and attitude on the move, she has a pleasing head shape with a super dark eye and erect ears and stands on the neatest of feet, on the move she covers the ground with brisk strides going forward with confidence, a most promising puppy 2 Masseys Schipdale Starfire With Ristine a little higher on the leg than the winner and not quite the same expression, she is good in front with a cobby body and level topline, moved out soundly J (1) Roopec Oh Emm Gee (NBT) PG (0) O (4,2) 1 and RBOB Finch’s Ristine Starry Night AWG a nicely proportioned 7 yr d showing no sign of age, broad enough in skull with dark eye and neat well set ears, short strong neck and well laid shoulders, compact body in body with a good width and depth to chest, muscular hind quarters and moving out with accuracy all ways 2 Philpotts CH Komargo Going For Gold 7 yr cream b, again not showing her age at all, in super coat but maybe just carrying a couple of extra pounds, pleasing well proportioned head and small neat ears, good front and feet, broad chest and deep brisket, moved out briskly and soundly in profile but I just preferred the more accurate rear action of the winner today. Shih Tzu P (1) 1 Marina’s Santosha I Am The One At Marinbox an attractive headed puppy with a large eye and kind expression, slightly arched neck into good shoulders, needs to develop a little in front but with a reasonable topline to a good tail set, just needs to settle on the move J (0) PG (1) 1 Marina ‘s Norboo Do Ya Wanna Play with Marinbox 2.5 yr gold/white d presented in good coat with a broad skull and short square muzzle with correct bite, he has a nice arch to his neck and ample width in front, good topline and high set tail, holds himself well on the move but could be stronger in hind action O (1) 1 and BOB Moores CH Unstoppable Alpui Sleni To Jaxtzu (imp LTU) JW SHC.Ex OSW I have done this 2 yr d well before and he is an excellent specimen of the breed, so beautifully presented and carrying himself with arrogance as the standard requires, super head with large dark eye, correct bite and a slightly arched neck into well laid shoulders, good width of chest and a firm topline, shows his pads on the move but just lacked that bit of sparkle in the group later that I have admired in him before. Tibetan Spaniel P (0) J (0) PG (2,1) 1 Harfords Baarnayotms April Showers At Mennimoonz 3 yr sable b, completely lacking in coat today but hiding nothing, she has a lovely head with a good width of chin, high set ears and bright oval eyes, good height to length ratios and well sprung ribs, holds her topline on the move and moved with a positive action O (5,4) 1 and BOB Harfords Mennimoonz Little Mole a very striking 7 yr b/w b with good height to length ratios, slightly rounded skull and a moderate length of muzzle with strong underjaw, excellent front and topline, tail is set on high and carried correctly on the move, a brisk and accurate mover Tibetan Terrier (all absent) AVNSC Utility P (1) 1 and BAVNSC, BAVNSC P Greenhoughs Mini Schnauzer Tammux Obscured By Flower 12mths old today and a very promising young b, sturdy and compact in outline and presented in good order, head with strong muzzle and dark eye, good length of neck into well laid shoulders with straight strong foreleg and close fitting elbows, hindquarters have good muscle tone and she is a strong and accurate mover displaying good reach and drive J (2,2) PG (2,2) O (2,2) AV Veteran (8,3) 1 and BV, RBVIS CH Perrymere Just Bertie JW 2 Schipperke CH Chadbower Nevaeh Lahetti VW presented in lovely condition, this 9yr b has a lovely head and bright expression and uses her ears well to enhance her appeal, she stands true in front on straight forelegs and small feet, compact in body, nicely rounded behind and moving out briskly 3 Schipperke Ristine Starry Night UTILITY GROUP 1 Spitz Klein CH Perrymere Just Bertie JW 2 Shih Tzu CH Unstoppable Alpui Sleni To Jaxtzu (imp LTU) JW SHC.Ex OSW 3 Kooiker Middanwinter War Horse At Keerelkoor JW 4 Dalmatian Salvadorada Hopes N Dreams PUPPY Group 1 Schipperke Roopec Oh Emm Gee 2 Toy Poodle Bielcee Satin N Soul 3 Schnauzer Tammux Obscured By Flower 4 Spitz Klein Bagshire Freddy Flintstone Bridgette Bodle
