I would like to thank the secretary and committee for the invitation to judge at this well run show along with a thank you to all the exhibitors for bring along so many quality dogs to go over. My appreciation also to my 2 wonderful stewards Nicola and Steph who did a fantastic job keeping me on track.

Parson Russell Terrier

Puppy (2,1) Casson’s Cassjoebar Rough Diamond : 11 mth puppy dog up to size .Nice wedge shaped head with flat skull. Good width of muzzle and well placed ears. Sufficient length of neck into clean shoulder and good front. Spannable, good length of body and correct set tail. Moved away well but front movement a little loose. BP

Open (3,2) Robert’s Ch Cassjoebar Caledonia From Mindlen JW: 2 yr bitch with feminine head and dark eye. Good denition and well placed ears. Excellent length of neck into correct lay of shouder. Good front, easily spanned. Moderate depth of chest, good length of body with correct tail set and carriage. Nice rear angulation providing lots of drive , moved true both fore and aft BOB. Glad to see her short listed in BIS challenge. 

Wire Fox Terrier

PG (5) 1.Maughan’s Brocolitia Chip N Pin: Young dog 14mth who definitely draws the eye exuding terrier attitude. Presented in excellent jacket this dog is well balanced with lovely length of head, dark expressive eye, correct denition and well set ears. Fair length of neck into well laid back shoulder, good depth of chest and well ribbed back. Level and strong topline. Good rear angulation and let down hocks. Correct tail set and carriage. Moved well both ways with plenty of drive. BOB

2. Harrison’s Belmadywire Duchess: Lovely feminine Bitch of 18 month with good length of head and correctly set ears which she used well. Sufficient length of neck into well laid shoulder , good topline with strong short loin. Presented in excellent jacket. Moved well once settled RBB

3. Everard’s Stagwire Stockman

Open (5,3) 1. Harrison’s Vixenview Tina: Larger 4 year bitch with a pleasing head and ears, scissor bite and good strength of jaw. Good length of neck broadening into good lay of shoulder , level topline but a tad long in the back. Standing on neat feet, good depth of rib and good rear angulation and well let down hocks. Nice tail set and carriage. Moved well.

2. Haigh’s Topazwire Tiger Rose: Young bitch with lovely length of head , dark eye and well placed ears just need to settle for correct expression. Lacking coat today and would like a more positive movement.

Smooth Fox Terrier

Junior (1) 1.Hannar Mr J & Miss E Borovale Ripley: 13 month to size bitch. Flat skull with good length of head, correct denition and strong jaws. Dark expressive eye, strong neck of fair length into well laid shoulder. Good depth of rib and strong level topline. Well angulated rear, good set on with plenty behind. Moved well when settled definitely made her handler work today. RBB

PG (1) 1. Hannar Mr J & Miss E Borovale Bisto: Well put together 14 mth dog. Flat skull and well set ears, good length of head and strong jaw with scissor bite. Muscular neck of fair length into well laid back shoulder. This dog has ample bone with good depth of chest, level topline and strong loin. Excellent rear angulation and well developed second thigh. Well set and carried tail. Moved true BOB

Open (1,1) Davison’s Tamedale Aurora: Well presented feminine t/w bitch. Dark eye and correct bite. Nice length of neck into clean shoulder. Good body length and nice rear angulation. Clearly enjoys showing and moved out well for her handler.

Welsh Terrier

Open(2,1) Harrison’s Letoha’s A Star Is Born: Lovely 2 year old dog standing in perfect profile on tidy feet . Good length of head with slight stop and expressive dark eye, small v-shaped ear and good denition . Slightly arched neck of good length and muscular into correct shoulder placement. Nice length of body and well ribbed. Strong hindquarters and good angulation. Presented in good hard coat. Moved well BOB.  Was happy to see him shortlisted for BIS.

Norwich Terrier

PG (1) 1. Armstrong & Lawrance Elantiz Wizard And I: Lively and alert young dog 14 months. Dark eye and good mouth with correct erect ears. Strong neck of good length into correct shoulder. Straight front and compact in body with short loin and good spring of rib. Moving a little close behind today. BOB
