Good Citizens Dog (2 Entries)
1st = Webbs Watermill Baloo
Well balanced throughout blue boy with white trim. Pleasing head with good underjaw and fine, well placed ears. Good length of neck, well set into his shoulders. Curvy topline with underline to match. Nice feet and pasterns. Moved well.
2nd = Sadlers Final Quattro
This 8 ½ year old black gentleman was quite shapely and a credit to his owner. His neck was broad at the base and flowed well into his shoulders. Good upper arm angulation with fair bone throughout. Curvy underline and broad across the thighs. Well let down hocks. Well knuckled feet and good spring to his pasterns. Moved well for his age, particularly in the heat and sun.

1st + BD + Best Opp Sex = Bogarts Sobers Kendrick at Incitatus (Imp It)
Upstanding young red dog. Not quite 14 months. Handsome, well balanced head with fine ears. Correct oval eye shape. Long neck, well set into his shoulders, good return of upper arm. Correct topline, with underline to match. Strong loin, leading into balanced, unexaggerated rear quarters. Broad thighs, well let down hocks. Moved well in profile. Sound. Just needs maturity on him and a more relaxed head carriage when stacked.
Yearling Dog (1 Entry)
1st = Bakewells Estet Classic Sherwood Adventures (Imp Est)
Dark brindle boy who at 16 months was enjoying himself, despite the very warm weather. Super head and expression. Long neck leading into well placed shoulders. Super length and return of upper arm. Correct pasterns. Excellent topline and fair depth for his age. Moved well in profile, slightly high through his tail carriage (he’s young)! Needs to tighten up on the up and back.

1st + Res BD = Howlett & Boggias Ina’s Fashion Imperial (Imp Deu)
This red brindle lad, at just over 2 years is so well balanced. Beautiful head on top of a long, strong neck. Set into well laid back shoulders. Excellent topline, with the best spring of rib. Fair tuck up. Strong loin. Broad thighs, excellent feet – compact and well knuckled, but NOT cat foot. To be hyper critical, I would like him a little more ‘generous’. Won this class on his movement - good extension in front, and so sound on the up and back. Quality.
2nd = Howlett & Howdens Rubicons Don’t Stop Believing (Imp USA)
Elegant dark brindle and white dog. Excellent head shape with correct dark, oval eye and fine ears. Well balanced front and rear angulation. Good topline (his patches can deceive the eye). Excellent depth of chest and spring of rib. Good tuck up. Broad thighs. Excellent spring of pastern. Moved well.
3rd = James Sobers Jannec Sinner At Simkhan
Open Dog (2 Entries)
1st = Harrison-Stratfords Ch Southpoint Niemeyer At Highwick (Imp Prt)
I loved this beautifully balanced red boy, at just 4 years old he is just coming into his prime, but I’m afraid he just wasn’t enjoying the heat today. Beautifully masculine, balanced head. Long neck with strong broad base, set well into his shoulders. Good topline. Well filled in, in front. Deep chest, well ribbed back. Well let down hocks. Correct feet. Sound. Would love to see him on a better day.
2nd = Newsham & Rowe & Rowes Ch Frankie Decuma Via Windspiel (Imp Cze)
This dark brindle boy I have met before and at almost 2 years old, is just starting to mature into a handsome representative of his breed. Quality head with dark eye. Long neck, with broad base, set well into his shoulders. Correct topline with curvy underline and excellent tuck up. Good feet and pasterns. Broad thighs and well let down hocks. Good extension and drive in profile. I look forward to watching him continue to progress and seeing the finished article.

Three year old blue brindle boy. Well balanced head with correct underjaw. Good length of neck with broad base well let into his shoulders. Fair spring of rib. Curvy underline. Pasterns well sprung and of moderate length. Well let down hocks. Moved well in profile.

Good Citizen Bitch (2 Entries)
1st Res BIS = Holder & Boggias Ch Boughton Back To The Future JW
I loved this quality (almost) three year old brindle with white trim girl. Strong, but feminine, well balanced head with excellent chiselling through her foreface. Well folded, fine ears which she was happy to show off when something took her interest! Long, strong neck set well into her excellent front angulation. Correct spring to her deep chest. Well ribbed back. Strong loin. Rear quarters which were broad and well angulated. Moved well in profile and sound on the up and back. No surprise later to discover she already has her title!
2nd = Wilce Quintons Inchydoney Memories Vinlandia Raspberry Chocolat Avec Kirjojax
At 2 years old this red brindle girl is just coming to maturity. Feminine head with lovely, well shaped dark, oval eye. Fair length of neck. Good topline with broad, strong loin. Enough bone for her size. Good spring of pastern. Broad thighs. Well let down hocks. Moved well in profile. Unlucky to meet the winner.

Junior Bitch (1 Entry)
1st = Harrison-Stratfords Southpoint Absolut At Highwick (Imp Prt)
I did fall in love with this sweet 13 month old, pale red girl. She fitted beautifully the part of the standard that asks for ‘intelligent, gentle and affectionate’ temperament. Long neck, set into well placed shoulder, flowing through to her classic topline. Excellent depth of chest and underline for her age. Well sprung ribbing. Broad, well angulated rear quarters with well let down hocks. She moved well in profile and sound on the up and back. Must have a bright future. One I will watch for.

Limit Bitch (4 – 1 Entries)
1st = Boggias Boughton Back For Good JW
Litter sister to the winner of Good Citizens Bitch class. Much of the same critique applies to this girl, so I won’t repeat it all. However, I think perhaps that this girl’s neck is a little stronger at the base and that she may have a slightly better upper arm than her sister. She moved very well in profile and was sound on the up and back.
2nd = Sawyers Inchydoney Memories Une Virgin Mary Avec Stonelow (Imp Fra) JW ShCex OSW
This pale fawn girl was quite substantial without losing any of her femininity. Long strong neck let into well laid shoulder and fair return of upper arm. Good spring of pastern. Well filled in, in front. Good spring and depth to her chest. Well ribbed back to an excellent strong loin. Long, low set tail. Well let down hocks. Moved with enthusiasm!
3rd = Abells Ballyoak Queen
Open Bitch (2 Entries)
1st + BIS = Harrison-Stratfords Ch Southpoint Ladi Loki At Highwick (Imp Prt)
I have judged this quality, elegant, muscular, balanced brindle and white girl before. Loved her then and she was absolutely on form today. Feminine throughout, but with the ‘generous’ proportions that the standard requires. Good length of neck set into well placed shoulders. Beautiful flowing topline with underline to match. Excellent bone. Well filled in, in front. Deep chest with well sprung ribbing. Strong loin. Well angulated rear quarters. In tip top condition. Moved with effortless reach and drive in profile and totally sound coming and going. A worthy BIS.
2nd = Boggia & Grahams Rubicons Songbird By Boughton (Imp USA)
Another quality, well balanced, elegant girl that I have judged before. Littler sister to the 2nd in Limit dog. They are so similar, but this girl is the more feminine version. Long neck set into beautiful clean-cut shoulders. Excellent depth of chest and well ribbed back. Strong Loin. Super topline which she kept on the move. Tight, curvy tuck up. Excellent driving rear quarters. Well let down hocks. Moved with good extension in front and sound coming and going. Unlucky to meet the winner.
Special Racing/Lure Coursing Bitch (3 Entries)
1st + Res Best Race/Lure Course = Clarkes Shockwave Amber
Pretty, feminine fawn brindle girl who is well balanced and unexaggerated. Balanced head with fine, correct set ears. Good length of neck which ran smoothly into her well placed shoulder. Curvy underline which complimented her topline. Good spring to her pasterns, broad thighs and well let down hocks. Moved well in profile.
2nd = Abells Ballyoak Queen
This black with white trim girl had a long, strong, broad-based neck. Balanced angulation front and rear. Fair spring of rib and depth of chest. Long, broad first thigh with a shorter unexaggerated angle to her second thigh. Well let down hocks. Moved ok, but she was another who was feeling the heat and might have shown a better side in cooler weather.
3rd = Withdrawn
Veteran Bitch (5 – 3 Entries)
1st + BVIS = Howlett & Howletts Ch Skyswift Moonlite Serenade
It was this beautiful parti-coloured veteran girl’s birthday today – 10 years old and one I would loved to have seen in her prime. It was no surprise to me later, to see that she had her title. With so much white, the grey hardly even shows! But her quality is still there for all to see. Balanced head, with flat skull and slight stop. Dark eyes. Elegant long neck which led smoothly into her well laid back shoulders. Excellent depth of chest and spring of rib. Strong, slightly arched loin. Broad thighs. Well let down hocks. Moved with an easy and very effortless action in profile. A credit to her owner.
2nd = Sawyers You Little Una at Stonelow
This 11 year old girl was litter sister to the male who was 3rd in Racing/Lure coursing veteran dog. She had a strong underjaw and some lovely chiselling through her foreface. A strong neck. Good depth of chest and a well sprung ribcage. Good feet and pasterns. Carrying a little too much weight for me and the weather was just too hot for her to make the best of herself.
Special Racing/Lure Coursing Veteran Bitch (5 – 2 Entries)
Checking my records, I can see that I have judged these two girls before and had the same result!
1st = Princes Westview Puddles
This 7 ½ year old feminine girl had a pretty head with good underjaw. A strong base to her neck. Good topline. Well sprung ribbing. Good slope to her pasterns. Front and rear angulation was balanced. Broad thighs and well let down hocks. Moved well in the heat.
2nd = Sadlers Huarache Mags
This, almost 10 year old sweet girl has a balanced head. Fair length of neck into a well angled shoulder blade. Good spring of rib with fair depth of chest. Broad thighs with a good turn of stifle. Low set on to her tail. Well let down hocks. Just dropping her topline on the move.
3rd = Bakewells & Scoles Nutts Corner
