Redditch & District Canine Society

Breed: Polish Lowland & Rough Collie
Thank you to the society for their invitation to judge at this well run show. I had a lovely day and the committee were all welcoming and friendly. Thank you to my 2 hard working stewards, who already had a long day without a break and continued through these 2 breeds. Final thanks go to everyone who entered their dogs for me today. Although disappointed with absentees in Polish Lowlands, the one here was a promising youngster. I really enjoyed judging Rough Collies, my first time judging these with classes and it gave me a lot to think about. Polish Lowland Sheepdog Puppy (2,1) 1st Heavens’ Pontaspring’s Abbey Road - 8 month F. Promising puppy. Lovely cobby outline. Well proportioned head with evident furrow, slight dome to skull. Feminine all through. Good length to neck. Moderately angulated front and rear. Sound all directions and showing appropriate reach and drive. Very calm and together for a puppy.
