PG (1) 1. Emmence’s Manzart China In Your Hand. A lovely 2-year-old bitch of pleasing type, feminine throughout with a nice head and expression. Well-presented front assembly, showing good balance and outline. She moves with elegance and style, covering the ground well with a graceful, effortless action. A quality exhibit with much to admire.
Open (2) 1. Messy & McGeoch’s Bel Ch Manzart Zebedee JW SHCEx OSW. A stunning 4-year-old male of outstanding quality and excellent breed type. Masculine throughout with a commanding presence, he excels in overall balance, substance, and breed character. Presented in superb condition, he stood out for his quality and ring presence. Moved with power, precision, and style, effortlessly holding his outline on the move. A truly impressive exhibit, deserving BOB , and later went on to win the Working Group. 2. Gallagher’s Manzart Excalibur at Izralight JW. Another stunning 3 year-old male of excellent type and quality. Well-balanced and stylish, with a pleasing outline and strong breed character. Shown in excellent condition and moved soundly with purpose. A quality exhibit.

Puppy (2) 1. Parsons’s Borzoi, Go Go Bolshoi Sweet Taboo. A promising 6.5-month-old bitch with pleasing breed type. Feminine throughout with a nice outline and much to like for her age. Still very much a baby and has plenty of maturing to do, both physically and mentally. She moved soundly and showed promise for the future. One to watch as she develops PG2. 2. Bennett & Sturmey’s Foxfly Magnifique. A good quality 8 month-old B/T Miniature Long Haired Dachshund bitch with a pleasing outline and nice breed type. Presents well for her age and shows promise, with sound construction and much to like. Still needs to gain confidence and show more personality in the ring, which should come with maturity. A promising youngster for the future.

(2) 1. West & Sexton’s Bimini Night Sky With Archidax A quality 12 month-old Miniature Wire Haired Dachshund male with a lovely head and keen expression. Nice feet and good angulations, giving him a balanced outline. Excellent coat texture and well presented. Moved soundly and showed well, with much to admire for his age. 2. Spinner’s Kenbloom Muhavura. A promising 16 month-old Irish Wolfhound bitch of good type. Feminine throughout with a pleasing outline and balanced proportions. Still maturing, as expected at this age, but shows quality and breed character. Moved soundly and presented well.

(5) 1. Lewis’s Olphae Grvernor JW. A quality 20 month-old Otterhound with excellent breed character and a most appealing presence. Full of personality and true to type, with much to admire. His movement was a standout feature, covering the ground with power and effortless style. A promising exhibit with a bright future ahead, Reserve Best AVNSC . 2. Holt’s Cynetkoy River Pheonix A nice 18 month-old PBGV dog of good type. Ribs moderately rounded, well let down to elbow and extending well back, with a level topline. Strong throughout and presents a pleasing outline. Would prefer a little more muscle over the loin, but overall a quality exhibit who moved well and deserved his placing.

(6) 1. Westron’s Farlap Kaleb An outstanding 2 year-old male who commanded attention the moment he entered the ring and never let it go. A truly impressive example of the breed, combining strength, nobility, and unmistakable type. His head is exceptional - long, narrow, and beautifully proportioned throughout, with correct planes, pronounced occipital peak, deep foreface, and superb overall balance, fitting the standard so well. Expression is classic, with excellent eyes and correct ear placement adding to his unmistakable breed character. Long, strong neck flowing into well-laid shoulders, straight forelegs with excellent bone, and strong pasterns. Deep chest with well-sprung ribs, strong back and loin, and powerful hindquarters giving him both substance and athleticism. Strong, well-knuckled feet complete the picture. On the move, he was simply captivating - elastic, free, and swinging with effortless reach and drive, carrying himself with great presence throughout. Smooth, weatherproof coat in excellent condition. A remarkable exhibit of outstanding quality who was impossible to overlook. Best AVNSC, G1 and later reserve Best in show. 2. Hills & Thornton’s Absolute Afghans Djibouti At Karnak JW A quality 5½-year-old Afghan Hound male presented in excellent coat and body condition. Stylish and elegant with pleasing breed type, he showed himself well throughout. Presented in beautiful order, with much to admire in overall outline and condition. Moved soundly and with style, earning a well-deserved second in this class.

Open (1) 1. Strange’s Amenediels Frankies Choice At Cazdachs. An 18 month-old Bavarian Mountain Hound of pleasing type who is still very much a youngster. Shows promise with good breed character, but has plenty of maturing to do both physically and mentally. At this stage still developing in body and overall finish, as expected for his age. Moved soundly and showed well, with time very much on his side. BOB

(2) 1. Wigstead & Carter’s Lilleagle Jeremy Fisher With Bellenza. A 2.5 year-old male Beagle with a pleasing overall outline. Slightly on the larger side for preference, but presents well and moves nicely with sound, purposeful action. Would prefer better lay-back of shoulder, and more muscular shoulders to enhance overall balance. BOB. 2. Ambridge’s Julemark Chaos. 2.5 year-old male of good breed type with an attractive masculine head, kind expression, and correct ear set. Nicely balanced throughout with good bone and substance for size. Pleasing neck and topline with adequate rib and well-muscled quarters. Moved soundly with steady side gait and true action coming and going. On the day, would have benefited from carrying his tail more correctly on the move, which affected overall outline and ring presence and hence his placing in this class.

(1) 1. Roberts & Spearing’s Linkenlees Lyric ShCM VW. Nearly 10 year-old bitch of good breed type who has aged very gracefully. Feminine head with gentle expression, correct proportions, and pleasing overall balance. Still sound on the move and carries herself well for a veteran, showing good muscle tone and condition for her age. Coat well presented and temperament exemplary. A credit to her owner and lovely to see an older Beagle enjoying her day in the ring. RBOB

Well-balanced front and rear angulation with adequate bone for size. Moved soundly and steadily, covering the ground well while maintaining breed shape. Presented in excellent condition with a smooth, glossy coat and confident temperament. RBOB

Long, clean outline with good reach of neck and firm topline. Outstanding hind angulation providing strong drive on the move, balanced by well-laid shoulders and adequate forechest. Sound and purposeful in action, holding his shape well at all times. Presented in hard condition with a quality coat and confident ring presence. A very eye-catching Dachshund with much to admire. BOB. 2. Forge’s Normpug Roman Holiday JW. Very appealing 2-year-old male of good breed type who pushed hard for top honours in a competitive class. Attractive head and expression with correct outline and pleasing overall balance. Soundly constructed with good front and rear assembly, allowing him to move freely and efficiently around the ring. Shown in excellent condition and handled well throughout. Just preferred the maturity and finish of 1 on the day.

Masculine without coarseness, with a balanced outline, good harsh coat and sound construction throughout. Moved freely and purposefully, maintaining a firm topline. Presented and handled well. Reserve Best of Breed.

Good breed type with a balanced outline and correct coat texture. Moved soundly and showed well throughout. Presented in excellent condition but was just edged out by the winner on the day.

Good overall shape and breed type, moving well for his age. Presented in good condition and showed happily, but just lacked the maturity of the winner on the day.

Feminine and elegant with a beautiful outline, correct proportions and a lovely head and expression. Moved effortlessly with reach and drive, maintaining her shape at all times. Showed confidently throughout and was presented in superb condition. A deserving class winner who caught my eye for BOB, G4.

Unfortunate to meet an outstanding winner on the day, but nevertheless a quality exhibit with many virtues.

Almost 7-year-old bitch with much to admire. Attractive outline with good breed type and sound movement. Shown in excellent condition and handled well. Just lacked the overall finish of 1.

(11, 2A) 1. Williams’s Tigsisle Totally Unique. Lovely 9 year-old Saluki bitch who has retained her quality and elegance. Feminine head with a soft, expressive eye, well-balanced proportions and a clean neck flowing into well-laid shoulders. Deep through the chest with good spring of rib and a strong, level topline, she stood over the ground with typical Saluki grace. Moved soundly and effortlessly with an easy, flowing stride, covering the ground well while maintaining her poise. 2. Byron’s Jasarat Gucci. Attractive 7 year-old Whippet dog of good breed type, displaying a clean, elegant outline with the characteristic curves and refinement of the breed. Well balanced throughout with a well-laid shoulder, good depth of chest, and strong hindquarters that contributed to his sound, effortless movement.

Correct size and proportions with a beautiful, typical head, dark expressive eyes and well-set ears framed by the characteristic feathering. Proudly carried neck flowing into a level topline, with good forequarters and well-balanced hindquarters. Excellent coat texture and presentation, enhancing his attractive outline. Moved freely and soundly with the distinctive positive, jaunty action of the breed, carrying himself with confidence and dignity throughout. A truly amazing dog who excelled in breed type and overall quality, making him a thoroughly deserving winner. 2. Harlow’s Ch. Snoanda Doing This My Way At Quidditch JW. Quality nearly 5 year-old Tibetan Terrier dog with much to admire. Well-balanced and squarely built with good substance, a strong topline and correct proportions. Typical head with a kind expression, complemented by a profuse, well-presented coat of good texture. Moved freely and soundly with good reach and drive, maintaining his outline throughout. Showed confidently and was presented in excellent condition, but was just unable to match the overall impact of the winner on the day.
