Firstly, I would like to thank all the officers and committee for inviting me to judge at this well-run show, also to my steward Richard for keeping the ring running smoothly.

And all those exhibitors that entered under me, also for the good sportsmanship between you all. The quality of dogs was exceptional and some of my decisions were so close, it was like splitting hairs so to speak in some classes, but I was very pleased with my placings.

LHASA APSO

PUPPY (3,1a)

1. Hazelhurst’s ALAMIKS HITCHIN’ A RIDE TO CORROLLS, 9mths masculine Gold Boy, dark expressive eyes, correct reserve scissor bite, strong neck flowing into well placed shoulders, good depth of chest and nicely ribbed back, short loin with correct tail set, he has a lovely well feathered tail which he carried nicely over his back, keeping a level topline on the move, he has such an abundance of coat for his age in beautiful condition, loved his character and determination showing himself off covering the ground well with an even flowing gait, initially he was very bouncy around the ring with her litter sister, which was lovely to watch them enjoying themselves, but he did enough to deserve 1st place. well-presented and expertly handled, I can see he has a promising show career ahead of him BP & Utility Puppy Group 3

2. Connett’s ALAMIKS SHINE WITH PRIDE WITH ORCAVOE, 9mths Gold Bitch, (sister to 1) beautiful feminine head, with lovely dark eyes, adequate stop, correct reverse scissor bite, strong arched neck flowing into well placed shoulders, good spring of rib with short loin, correct tailset, nicely muscled throughout, like her brother she has a beautiful abundance of coat, once settled she moved around the ring with such panache and style with a free flowing movement, keeping a level topline on the move, well-presented and handled well, another that I can see will have a promising show career ahead of her

1. Adam-Slomkowski’s SKYLAX POWER OF LOVE, 12mths. Gold & White Bitch, very feminine girl with endearing dark eyes, good stop, lovely arched neck flowing into well placed shoulders, good depth of chest with a good length of rib with short loin, correct high tail set well feathered, she has an abundance of coat for her age, good rear angulation nicely muscled throughout. She moved around the ring with a lovey free flowing a gait covering the ground well keeping a level topline on the move, well-presented and expertly handled.

1. Downes ALAMIKS NO STRANGE DELIGHTFOR TSUKI, 19mths, Gold Boy, Such a handsome boy he had such endearing dark eyes, good stop, correct scissor bite, he has a strong arched neck flowing into well placed shoulders, good depth of chest with a good spring of rib and short loin, correct high set tail with lovely furnishings, excellent front and rear angulation and nicely muscled throughout, he moved with determination and covered the ground well keeping a level topline on the move, well-presented and handled to perfection. 2. Hazelhurst’s MYTILENE MAGICAL MOMENTS AT CARROLL JW. 17mths, Black Bitch, beautiful feminine girl, with such pleasing dark eyes, adequate stop. Good arch to her neck with well-placed shoulders, good depth of chest, nicely ribbed back with short loin, correct tail set nicely feathered, good front and rear angulation, she covered the ground well with a free-flowing movement and kept a level topline on the move, well-presented and expertly handled.

Taylor & Johnson’s WRENWROX ROYAL GEM AVEC SIFRASON JW, ShCEx OSW, 2ys, A Quality Black & White Girl, she has lovely endearing dark oval eyes, correct stop with reserve scissor bite, she has a beautiful curved neck flowing into well placed shoulders, good depth of chest, nicely ribbed back with short loin, correct high set tail with beautiful furnishings, she is nicely muscled throughout, with good front and rear angulation, she has a beautiful abundance of coat of correct texture, a credit to her owner, she just wanted to please, moving around the ring with such confidence and in synch with her owner, she covered the ground well keeping a level topline on the move and carried her tail carriage well over her back, she has such a beautiful shape and outline, and looked a picture standing, well-presented and expertly handled to perfection BOB & Utility Group 2

KUTANI DAREDEVIL 6ys, Cream, Another Quality Boy with such a super abundance of coat, a credit to his owner, he has a masculine head with lovely dark eyes with a good stop, correct reserve scissor bite, adequate stop, strong curved neck flowing into well place d shoulders, good depth of chest, with a good spring of rib and short loin, correct high tailset with beautiful furnishing, good rear angulation, nicely muscled throughout, he moved around the ring with a free flowing effortless gait keeping a level topline on the move, he was such a picture standing, expertly handed and well presented,

Thornton’s NORBOO DARK AURA, 6mths, Black Bitch, she has lovely dark expressive eyes, correct bite, good stop, lovely arched neck flowing into well placed shoulders, adequate depth of chest and nicely ribbed back with short loin, she has a correct tail set with a good plume carried nicely over her back as she moved around the ring, good front and rear angulation, nicely muscled throughout, she’s just a baby along with her litter brother who was in the ring at the same time, they both enjoyed playing with each other and giving their owners a hard time, but I do like to see puppies to be like this where they are able to be play with each other and gain confidence in the ring, well presented. Thornton’s NORBOO DE VON, 6mths, Black & White Dog, lovely dark eyes, good stop, correct bite, lovely arched neck flowing into well placed shoulders, he has a good front with a nice spring of rib and short loin, he has a lovely tail set with a nice plume carried nicely over his back, again just a baby enjoying playing with his sister in the ring, but it was difficult to assess his movement, and he certainly was doing exactly what he wanted to do and gave his handler a hard time, but he has promise and with some extra training and ringcraft I’m sure he will improve.

Thornton’s NORBOO YA GOTTA HAVE FAITH. 15mths, Solid Gold Bitch, such a confident girl with lovely dark eyes, good stop and correct bite, lovely arched neck flowing into well placed shoulders, she has a good depth of chest, nicely ribbed back with short loin, correct high tail set with beautiful plume, good rear angulation, she has a beautiful coat of correct texture, she moved around the ring with confidence and style keeping a level topline on the move, well-presented and expertly handled.

1. Thornton’s NORBOO PALMER VIOLET, 15mths Solid Gold Bitch, litter sister to the Junior winner. Like her sister she has a very feminine head with beautiful dark eyes, adequate stop and correct bite, she has a good arch of neck flowing into well placed shoulders, good depth of chest, nicely ribbed back with correct tail set with a good plume which she carried eloquently over her back as she moved around the ring, she has a lovely coat of correct texture, good rear angulation, nicely muscled throughout. she moved around the ring with such style and panache, like her sister a very confident young lady, well-presented and handled to perfection.

Clifford’s CEDARHYTHE ENCHANTMENT, 17mths Black & White Bitch, she has such endearing dark eyes, good stop, correct bite, lovely arch to neck flowing into well placed shoulders, good depth of chest with a good spring of rib and short loin, correct high tail set with a good plume, good front and rear angulation, she moved out with confidence and covered the ground well, keeping a level topline on the move, expertly handled and well presented.

1. Moore & Casentieri’s EMERSON ALPIU SLENIS OF ALCHEZ JW ShCEx OSW (IMP LTU), 5yo Black & Tan Boy, Quality Boy!!! Absolutely loved this boy he oozed quality and he didn’t disappoint, he has such endearing dark round eyes giving that warm expression so typical of this breed, correct bite, he has heavily coated well set ears that blended perfectly into his coat, defined good stop, well-proportioned arched neck flowing into well placed shoulders, he has a good depth of chest, nicely ribbed back with short loin, he has a heavily plumed correct high tail set which he carried gaily over his back, he is well balanced and nicely muscled throughout with good front and rear angulation, and what an amazing coat he has a credit to his owner, he moved around the ring with such determination moving so freely and sound keeping a level topline on the move, he was well presented and handled to perfection. Clifford’s CEDARHYTHE DARKDESTINY, 4yo, Black & White Boy, Another Quality boy, in excellent coat again a credit to his owner, he has lovely dark round eyes adequate stop, low set ears blending nicely into his coat, lovely arch to neck flowing into well placed shoulders, good front and rear angulation, nicely ribbed back with short loin, correct high tail set with beautiful plumed tail which he carried nicely over his back, well-muscled throughout, he covered the ground soundly with a free flowing movement keeping a level topline on the move, expertly handled and well presented.

Leak’s MALIA MISTLETOE MEMORIES MIT MADIRE, 2yo Gold Sable & Black Mask Bitch, she has a beautiful feminine head with lovely dark oval eyes, adequate stop, nicely placed pendant ears, she has a short strong neck flowing nicely into well placed shoulders, good depth of chest and nicely ribbed back with short loin, correct tail set with good plume to tail, neat feet, good muscle throughout, she moved out with good confidence and style, keeping a level topline on the move, well-presented and expertly handled.

Cunningham’s KWEST’S EUNHASU AT YULYEONG (IMP PRI) Korean Jindo, 8mnths Red Fawn Bitch, she has a lovely feminine head with expressive dark eyes, good stop, correct scissor bite, good strong muscular neck flowing into well placed shoulders, good depth of chest nicely ribbed back with short loin, nicely muscled throughout, correct tail set good front and rear angulation, she was very excitable when entering the ring, but soon settled down for me to assess her movement, she moved around the ring with confidence covering the ground well, well presented, it was splitting hairs with both these Korean Jindo’s, but she won on movement. Cunningham’s YULYEONG SPECIAL EDITION, Korean Jindo, 10mths Red Fawn Bitch, dark eyes with a good defined stop, lovely strong neck flowing into well placed shoulders, good depth of chest good spring of rib with short loin, good rear angulation, nicely muscled throughout, correct tail set, as with 1 she was very excitable when entering the ring, but being a puppy it was lovely to see them in such a playful mood, she soon settled and moved in synch with her owner, once settled she covered the ground well, well presented.

Cassidy’s RINGRIDER WRECKING BALL FOR CHINASKYS, Xoloitzcuintle, (Mexican Hairless Std) 20mths Bitch, Absolutely love this girl, she was very alert and focused, she has such a lovely feminine head with a tuft of black hair on top of her head, she has beautiful dark oval eyes, with good stop and correct scissor bite, she has a slender neck flowing into well placed shoulders, nicely ribbed back with short loin, correct tail set and with a lovely curve, she has beautiful smooth soft skin, lovely and warm to touch, she has good front and rear angulation, nicely muscled throughout, she covered the ring with a lovely even gait and kept a level topline on the move, I remember judging this beautiful young lady as a young puppy and I was so taken by her back then, she has matured nicely, well-presented and expertly handled. Rose’s WINFLASH JUMPING JINGLE, Miniature Schnauzer, 9mths Black Bitch, it was a joy to see her enter the ring with such confidence, she has a lovely feminine head with beautiful dark eyes, good stop, lovely arched eyebrows, correct scissor bite, lovely slender neck flowing into well placed shoulders, good depth of chest, she is nicely ribbed back with short loin, correct tail set, and nicely muscled throughout, she was so square in profile and a picture standing, she moved so well for a youngster and covered ground well with a free flowing even gait, keeping a level topline on the move, she was expertly presented and handled to perfection. Andrew’s CLARAN GALAXY QUEST TAF, German Spitz Mittel, 9mths Cream Sable Bitch, very pretty girl with such a sweet expression, lovely dark eyes, adequate stop, correct scissor bite, lovely small erect ears set high on head, she has a clean neck flowing into well placed shoulders, good depth of chest with good spring of rib and short loin, correct tail set, she moved out well with a good brisk action, keeping a level topline as she moved around the ring, she was well presented and expertly handled.

Knox’s WYLDETTE LILITH NEVER EVE, Shar Pei, 15mths Red Bitch, she has such a pretty face with lovely dark eyes, good stop, moderate wrinkle, small thick ears, correct bite, she has a lovely coat of correct texture, good depth of chest nicely ribbed back with short loin, correct tailset with good curl, nicely muscled throughout, she was very cheeky and lively doing things her way, but she soon settled down and moved out with a positive drive, keeping a level topline on the move, well presented.

Thomas’ KELMORESPITZ DARK MAGIC Tibetan Terrier 6mths Black & Tan Dog, I believe this was her first show, she has a lovely feminine head, with such a sweet expression with lovely dark eyes, correct stop, correct scissor bite, adequate depth of chest for her age, lovely neck flowing into well placed shoulders, good spring of rib with short loin, correct tailset, she moved around the ring with such confidence and style in synch with her owner, superbly handled and well presented.

Coopers ABELOTH SUN CHASER Tibetan Terrier 7mths Black & White Bitch, another beautiful girl with a lovely feminine head, dark eyes with adequate stop, correct scissor bite, well laid shoulders, adequate depth of chest and nicely ribbed back with short loin, correct tail set, she covered the ground well keeping a level topline on the move, well-handled and expertly presented.

Pettit’s ROGSPA’S GOT YER BACK JW Tibetan Terrier 17mths Black & White Dog, A lovely handsome boy with a masculine head, dark eyes and good stop with a correct scissor bite, strong muscular neck flowing into well placed shoulders, he has a good depth of chest and nicely ribbed back with short loin, correct high tail set with good front and rear angulation, nicely muscled throughout, he took my eye as soon as he entered the ring with such confidence and look at me I’m here attitude and he didn’t disappoint, he excelled in movement covering the ground well with a free flowing gait, keeping a level topline on the move, he looked a picture standing, expertly handled and well presented.

Hukin’s RENNKISS OF THE SPIDERWOMAN Std Poodle 14mths Black Bitch, she has such an endearing look about her with beautiful dark eyes, good stop, correct scissor bite, she has a lovely slender neck flowing into well placed shoulders, adequate depth of chest, good spring of rib with short loin, correct tailset and nicely muscled throughout, good rear angulation, she moved around the ring with such elegance showing her socks off with a pleasing effortless gait, well-presented and superbly handled.
