NORWICH TERRIER

PD (1) transferred from SB

1. Page & Page & Page’s Rivale Piper Street (imp Fin). Nicely proportioned youngster with lovely dark eye, well placed ears and correct bite. Good length of neck leading to well laid shoulders, still developing through the body, he has a firm top line, ribcage is carried well back and tail is set on high. Shown in a harsh well prepared jacket. He has a very good side gait just needing to tighten up a little in rear whilst going away.

JD (4,1abs)

1. Crawley’s Vesthuizen Cherokee. Nicely balanced youngster, short and cobby in profile. Attractive head with good skull to muzzle proportions, dark oval-shaped eyes with keenness of expression. Good forehand, well ribbed and good depth of chest, level top line and strong loin. Very well presented jacket of good texture, just perhaps carrying a little extra weight over his neck and shoulders today. Moved out well in profile and away and back with a free and easy gait. Best Junior.

2. Page, Page & Page’s Ragus Another Coin. Lots to like about this lad, compact in appearance with good bone and substance for his age, Lovely headpiece with good breadth to skull, well defined stop, neatly placed ears, strong muzzle and dark eyes with good strong jaws. giving a bright expression. Fair length of neck, fitting nicely into laid shoulders, well ribbed, short level back, and high set tail, well ribbed back and tail set on high. Well presented jacket of good texture. He just seemed a little unsettled on the move today and couldn’t quite match the propulsion of the winner.

3. Armstrong, & Lawrance’s Elantiz Wizard And I.

PGD (1)

1. Mclaughlin’s Brickin Walking On Air To Barwest. This lad has quite a well balanced head with good skull to muzzle proportions, dark eyes with keen expression. Fair length of neck, fitting nicely into well laid shoulders, good depth and spring of rib, level top-line, could be a touch shorter for balance. Not in in best jacket on the day and had his naughty head on as he was determined to sniff the ground on the move making it difficult to assess him properly, I did see the occasional glimpse of a sound side gait.

LD (2)

1. Crawley’s Willsifox Playful Whisper. This lad simply oozes breed type, his classical outline appeals very much, cobby, compact low to the ground. His head is a delight, proportionate, good breadth and width between his neat well placed ears, his dark eyes giving a keen expression. Good length of neck fitting nicely into well laid shoulders, level top-line, super rib and short muscular loin. His jacket was presented in pristine condition to complete the picture. Comes alive on the move, gaiting around the ring with ease, moving true both ways and parallel from behind. Pleased to award him the DCC (his second I was told later) and BOB,

2. Russell’s Casahasabi Lick Of Paint. Another quality lad, nicely balanced and well constructed throughout with a lovely compact profile. Very attractive and typy head with good skull to muzzle ratio, dark oval-shaped eyes with keenness of expression. Good forehand, well ribbed and good depth of chest, level top line and strong loin. Very well presented jacket of good texture. Gaiting around the ring with an easy stride with good reach in front and drive from behind from his well let down hocks. Pleased to award him the RDCC.

OD (1)

1. Gretton & Bell’s Elantiz Verde. Smart and mature lad. Well proportioned masculine head with enough breadth and width, neat well placed ears and a keen and bright expression, his eyes could perhaps be a touch darker. Good length of neck, leading into well laid shoulders, level top line and strong loin. Good depth and spring of rib, topped off with well presented harsh coat. Moved out well in profile and away and back, not always using his tail today.

PB (5,1abs). Lovely class of promising puppies, all at different stages of development.

1. Crawley’s Ragus Ain’t Misbehaving. A delightful puppy who just had the edge in terms of maturity. Very pleasing and typy outline, cobby and proportionate. Feminine head and expression, dark oval eyes, neat ears, good in neck and shoulder, enough bone for her size, short backed and good spring of rib. Once settled she moved out with a confident free flowing gait with good drive from behind. Well presented jacket to complete the picture. BPB and BPIB

2. Inett & Harrison’s Carradine Charcoal Cheddar. Another lovely girl, full of promise, just slightly longer in the body than the winner at the moment. Pleasing head, very feminine, but has breadth to skull and strength to muzzle, well placed ears, and oval dark eyes giving a keen expression. Good length of neck, well laid shoulders, firm level top-line just a tad bum high at the moment. Presented in super coat of good harsh texture. Moved out positively on the go around.

3. Tate’s Jaeva Set In Stone.

JB (3 Entries) Abs: 1

1. Armstrong & Lawrance’s Elantiz This Is Who I Am. Two very different girls, the winner was smaller in frame but I felt was a little more compact and cobby in appearance with good bone and substance or her size. Very feminine head, with strength to her muzzle, dark expressive eyes and good dentition. Short backed, and well angulated hindquarters finishing with a well set on and carried tail. Moved soundly fore and aft, still some growing and developing to do, but a promising young lady who was presented in a smart jacket of good harsh texture.

2. Stevenson’s Brickin Gooseberry. Pretty girl, different in type from the winner. Lovely head, well set ears but she wasn’t using them well today, dark eyes and good bite. Good in neck and shoulder with a short level back, body and ribs developing. Saw glimpses of of good movement but she really wasn’t giving her all . Her coat wasn’t at its best today and could be a little harsher.

LB (5,2abs)

1. Horsewood’s Sunny Summer Holiday By Trutillian. Attractive girl who scores in her cobby shape and size. Attractive feminine head, with enough breadth and width, neat well placed ears and a keen and bright expression. Good length of neck, leading into well laid shoulders, level top line, strong loin and good tail set. Good depth and spring of rib, topped off with well presented quality coat. Moved out positively on the go around with good propulsion from her well let down hocks.

2. Armstrong & Lawrance’s Elantiz Butter Would't Melt. Smaller girl with good bone and substance, short and compact in profile. Attractive head, neat ears, eyes could be a little darker but she still has a keen expression. Well laid shoulders, short back, firm loin and tail of good set. Super coat both presentation and texture. On the go around, she moved out well in profile, and away and back, her top line was just a touch soft at times today.

OB (4,1abs)

1. Harrison & Inett & Crawley’s Javidel Miss Moneypenny. Headed a strong class of quality girls with this one coming out on top today. A real eye catcher, very feminine with a compact and cobby outline. Quality head, good breadth and width between her neat well placed ears and a bright keen expression. Good length of neck fitting nicely into well laid shoulders, level top-line, super rib and short muscular loin. Well presented double jacket to complete the picture. On the move, she gaits around the ring with an easy stride and good reach in front and drive from behind from her short well let hocks. Pleased to award her BCC and delighted to hear afterwards that it was her third and crowning CC subject to RKC confirmation. Congratulations.

2. Tate & Dragon’s Ch Jaeva Joy Ride. Another attractive girl with a very feminine head with breadth to skull and strength to muzzle, well placed ears, and well shaped eyes with a keen expression. Good length of neck, leading into well laid shoulders, level top line, strong loin just a tad longer than winner. Good depth and spring of rib, topped off with beautifully presented quality coat. On the move she gaited freely with drive, quality girl who I was happy to award the RBCC.

3. Page & Page & Page’s Winflash Ask Moi.
