1. Hancock’s Coton Karma’s Shoot Me Down Bear at Cindaires (Imp Dnk). A quality youngster to start off with. He was beautifully presented and well conditioned, his profile immediately appealed for his balance and breed typical shape with slight rise and gentle fall over the croup. Handsome, well proportioned head with lovely dark eyes and excellent pigmentation. He has a strong arched neck, well sprung ribs for his age, good bone and substance, moderately angulated rear and correct top line and tail carriage, all topped off with a pristine coat. On the go around, he moved freely and accurately holding his outline as he went. Happy to award him RBD, just being pipped by the more mature VD.

1. Cheshire’s Xanthos von Cotonfeeling (Imp Deu). Attractive lad sporting a beautifully presented coat of the correct texture and in profile he is nicely balanced with a typical outline. Masculine head, correctly shaped with well balanced length of muzzle, he has the darkest of expressive eyes and good pigmentation. Soundly constructed with ample reach of neck, finishing with a well set on and carried tail. Felt that he wasn’t quite putting his all in on the move, not quite moving as freely as his construction suggests and today he was just a little close behind.

1. Clarke’s Int/bel/nld Ch Cotonkiss Heaven Help Us VW Nlw23 Lux Vch. A fabulous lad, in his prime and absolutely belies his 9 years. He was coat was flawlessly presented and he was shown in fit body condition. Loved his head, clearly masculine, correctly shaped with well balanced length of muzzle, excellent pigmentation and the darkest of expressive eyes, giving him such a charming expression. Strong arched neck, good fore chest, well sprung ribs, good bone and substance, moderately angulated rear and correct top line and tail carriage. I felt that he was the best moving of the entry today, moving effortlessly around the ring holding his outline at all times. Pleased to award him BD and BOB and delighted to see that he came 3rd in a strong Toy veteran group.

1. Scott’s Mopseyscoton Minti Minki ShCEx VW. Smaller dog nearing 8 years. He has a masculine head with dark round eyes, straight muzzle with strong jaw and dense pigmentation all giving him a lovely expression. Nicely arched neck, good fore chest, well sprung ribs and good bone and substance. He is moderately angulated behind and had a good tail carriage. Moved freely around the ring, just losing his top line at times, he was more on his toes than his kennel mate standing second and shown in great order.

2. Scott’s Cotonkiss Perfect Storm. Built on bigger lines than the winner, but still nicely balanced with a typical outline with slight rise and slight fall over the croup. Masculine head, quite a strong muzzle, with round eyes, dense pigment and strong jaw. Moderate length of neck, well sprung ribs, good bone and substance, moderately angulated rear and correct top line and tail carriage. Coat in good order but quite a lot of it. On the go around, he held his outline well but was a bit reluctant to put his best foot forward and wasn’t moving as freely as his construction suggests he can.

1. Howsam’s Jandoes Wotta About Dottie. What a lovely puppy, beautifully presented and well conditioned, she has balance and quality in abundance. A delightfully feminine head, with dark eyes and good pigmentation. Moderate reach of neck, good chest and ribbing for her age, lovely front and rear assembly and good bone and substance. She was sporting a well presented and developed coat for her age and it was of good texture. A smart little mover too, free and easy with an accurate footfall. BPB & BPIB.

PGB (2,1abs)

1. Fry’s Cotontricks Miss Sunshine. A smaller built girl, very feminine with a sweet face with dense pigment, lovely dark expressive eyes and good length of muzzle. Soundly constructed with ample reach of neck, good bone and substance for her size, good chest and ribbing and well developed hindquarters. Her top line could perhaps have a little more rise. Her well presented coat whilst not the fullest was of the correct texture. Moved out steadily and accurately, today she couldn’t quite match the effortless gait of the OB winner but very happy to award her RBB.

OB (2)

1. Howsam’s Cotonkiss Wotta A Girl Wants at Jandoes ShCEx. Beautifully presented and well conditioned girl who in profile has a balanced and breed typical shape rising slightly with gentle fall over her croup to her low set tail. Loved her head, delightfully feminine, skull and muzzle are well proportioned with enough strength, round dark eyes and very good pigmentation. Nicely arched neck, good fore chest, well sprung ribs, good bone and substance, and moderately angulated rear. On the go around, she move effortlessly and accurately holding her top line at all times. Her coat was beautifully presented and of the correct texture to complete the picture. Very happy to award her BB & BOS. A close run thing in the challenge for BOB, the male just having the slight edge today on his showmanship although I did prefer her size.

2. Fry’s Blosscoton Kuhsandruh. A very feminine girl who is good for size. Very pretty face with expressive dark round eyes, lovely pigmentation, strong jaw and well set ears. She has a strong neck into good shoulders, straight front with good chest and ribbing and moderately angulated rear. Her top line was a little level both standing and on the move and was she carrying her tail a bit high today. Well presented coat of good texture. Moved freely and soundly on the go around.
