VD (1)
1. Smith’s Digaden Top Hat & Tails. Taller lad, shown in great condition. Strong head, lovely clear eyes giving a keen terrier expression and still has good dentition. Moderate neck, his top line is still firm with slight rise over the loin ending in a good tail set and carriage. Flexible and spannable and he has a thick pelt and harsh jacket. Moved out soundly in all directions with good reach and drive. BVD.

1. Baker’s Pacolito Veni Vedi Veci. A real eye catcher, very workmanlike in appearance and so well balanced, I can see him doing a days work no problem. Super head, wedge shaped with good ear set and dark eyes showing a terrier keenness. Easy to span, and shown in fit hard condition with a pliable pelt. Came into in own on the move, using his strong pasterns and hocks to move freely around the ring. BPD, RBD and BPIB.
2. Hooley’s Hoolmark Cheyanne. Smart lad, younger and slightly taller than winner and at the moment not quite as mature in in his movement, but he did move freely once he settled down with a free and easy stride. Nicely balanced masculine head framed by neat ears, set off with dark eyes giving him a keen expression. Good front assembly, decent length of neck, body is developing just needing to fill out and drop, well set on and carried tail. Easy to span and shown in great condition.

1. Mitchell, Mitchell, & Mitchel’s Foxfur Espionage For Rodzina JW. Two very nice dogs in this class, just felt the winner had the slight edge today in terms of his movement being just a little more fluid. Workmanlike and balanced in appearance, easy to span. Super head, well proportioned wedge shaped, neat ears and dark eyes full of terrier keenness. Decent front assembly with good length of neck with well placed shoulders, straight back with rise over the loin. Correct depth of rib, easily spannable, with a muscular loin and well set on tail. Strong hindquarters with low-set hocks which enabled him to move out with a good ground covering gait. Shown in great condition.
2. Bigland’s Heythrop Tempura. Another lovely dog, similar size and shape to the winner, well balanced throughout, displaying good proportions. Masculine wedge shaped head, dark almond shaped well pigmented eyes giving a keen expression. Clean muscular neck, shoulders well laid back, strong back with slight rise to loin and easily spanned. Strong muscular hindquarters and hocks well let down. Nicely angulated in front and rear with sound movement, just felt today the winner had a little more ground covering stride in profile, but it was a close decision. Shown in good coat and thick pliable pelt.

1. Smith & Smith’s Ch Bellvalley Blackhawk Of Alncroft. This lad stood out for me both in his class and the challenge, well balanced throughout, unexaggerated and so workmanlike. His head is a delight, wedge-shaped head, correct bite, strong under jaw with dark keen eyes. Very good front assembly with straight well boned front legs, correct in shoulders , good spring of ribs which are carried well back and easily spannable, leading to good length of back that ends in strong hindquarters and well set on tail. Shown in the peak of condition, excellent coat and pelt, he looks like he has the stamina and energy to do a day's work. Moved with ease around the ring. BD & BOB
2. Bigland’s Heythrop Toptag. Slightly taller than winner, he is workmanlike showing a typical outline with good overall balance. Masculine wedge shaped head of good proportions, flat skull, well placed ears, dark intelligent and keen eyes. Good length of neck, clean in front with a good length of leg. Right amount of spring to the ribcage to enable spanning, with the ribs carried well back. Nicely angulated hindquarters. Moving out soundly in all directions. Shown in great coat and condition with thick supple pelt. Moving out soundly in all directions but today, just felt he couldn't quite match the fluidity or drive of the winner.

She has a clean neck of good length which is well fitting, decent spring of ribs which are carried well back and easily spannable. Firm top line, good bend of stifle with hocks well let down. Tail is just a little low set. Moved soundly, would just like a little more reach in front. Well presented jacket with thick pelt. Best Special Beginners.

1. McCluskey & Young’s Chadbrook Elka VW. A fantastic class of veteran girls shown in great condition, all keen and active showgirls and a real credit to their owners, but this one stood out for me today. She’s workmanlike yet feminine in appearance displaying a typical outline with good overall balance. Attractive well shaped head with flat skull, neat well set on ears and dark almond eyes giving a keen and alert expression. Easily spannable, with correct ribbing and nothing exaggerated. Well balanced throughout, with good proportions and the correct length-to-height ratio. She moves well an easy ground covering gait. Coat is of very good quality, with a loose pelt. BVB, RBB and BVIB

PB (2,1abs )
1. Mitchell, Mitchell & Mitchell’s Rodzina Remember Alice. Very smart girl put down in lovely condition, I thought she had a typy outline both on the move and stack with a slight rise over the loin. Strong yet feminine well shaped head with good ear shape and carriage, dark almond shaped eyes, giving her that correct keen expression. Good length of neck, fitting cleanly into well laid shoulders. Her body is developing nicely just needing to fill out and drop a little more. Well presented jacket and she spanned easily. Moved out well with a smooth gait. Not quite the maturity of the dog puppy in the challenge for best puppy but it was a close decision. BPB.

1. Levitt’s Proveits Velvet Rose. Pretty girl not long out of puppy class, a good sort but she was rather unsettled today particularly on the move and would benefit from more ring craft and practice to enable her to show off her virtues more confidently. Good wedge shaped head with nice dark almond eye and correct dentition. Straight forelegs with good bone and tidy feet. Spannable and with a good pelt and jacket. Saw glimpses of sound movement but would like a slightly better tail carriage but I think that’s just a confidence thing. Best Junior.
PGB (3,2abs)
1. Levitt’s Proveits White Sally. Feminine girl, well shaped in head with good ear set with well placed dark eyes, good length of muzzle and correct bite. Fair length of neck, clean straight front, and well laid shoulders. Her ribs are carried well back and she’s easy to span. Shown in good coat with a loose pelt. Perhaps a little lighter in frame but she has a nicely balanced outline. Carried herself well on the move, rear action just needs to settle.

She sports a well presented coat with thick and loose pelt. Balanced in profile and she moved out well.

Presented in a smart jacket and supple pelt. BB
