1ST Claran Edge of Glory (Ms K Andrew), 2 years. Black/S with a lot to like in respect to breed type. Admired his overall balance, which was particularly impressive when standing. Head was nicely wedge-shaped, sporting dark oval eyes, aiding a pleasing expression. Neat, well-set ears. Good dentition. Well-ribbed with ample bone and substance; short-coupled. Strong, short topline. Well-set tail, carried correctly. Super coat.

2ND Crystalclear Bobbee Dazzler (IKC) (Mrs Y Hall), 2 years. Sable. Correct head proportions and well-set ears. Balanced head with well-set ears. Attractive eyes, being darkish brown. Enough neck. Well-bodied. Correctly set tail. In good coat. Just preferred the shoulder placement and forehand of 1, but it was a close call.

1ST Ch Claran Court Your Breath (Ms K Andrew). 4 years. Cream. Judged him as a youngster and, upon checking those notes, I found I had written almost the same critique two years later! A super dog for outline and balance. Pleasing finish to head. Dark, expressive, oval-shaped eyes with black pigmentation complement his coat colour. Small, neat ears frame a glorious expression. Attentive to his handler and an exemplary showman. Steady, accurate mover. I had no hesitation in awarding him the CC.

2ND Biggi Best Beast with Longsdale (Imp Lav) (Mr G & Mr D Pearce & Francis). 'All male', presented in a super black coat. There is a lot to like, particularly in his head qualities, which include beautiful eyes. Deep chest and correct length of neck. Secure topline. He could be a tad shorter-coupled. Excellent tail set. His movement was most impressive. Reserve CC.

3RD Dream Team Stars Irresistibly Black (Imp Bgr) (Mrs H Moore).

1ST Yanimas's Black Lily (Miss Y Brown). 14 months old. Black. Feminine and pleasing to examine. Well handled. She is of lovely character, having a friendly temperament. Well-bodied and of good bone and substance. At one with her handler, she moved very well.

1ST Claran Enchanted (Ms K Andrew). 6 months and such a sweet baby. Clearly of superior quality. Feminine head containing oval-shaped eyes, which are well set. Neat ears, well placed. Correct short neck. She is well-bodied for her age, with sturdy forequarters and neat feet. Square outline and level topline. She moves so well. One to watch. BPIB.

Junior Bitch

1ST Yanimas's Fleur De Lis (Mrs H Moore). Litter sister to 2 and similar in many ways. She has a beautiful head and expression. Coat just changing. Ideally, I would prefer a tad more length of leg. In the final go-around, she had the advantage over 2 on movement, but I expect these sisters to frequently change places. Best Junior.

2ND Yanimas's Black Lily (Miss Y Brown). 1st Special Beginners.

1ST Melitabe Lyra avec Fecimus (Mrs B Cheyney-Wiles), 3 years. Classic feminine head, beautifully proportioned and containing most attractive eyes. Well-set, small ears. Enough neck; well-ribbed body. Balanced and square when standing; I admired her overall size. In the challenge, her accurate and precise movement really moved up a gear, and I had no hesitation in awarding her a well-deserved Reserve CC.

2ND Rosco's Breeze (Miss T Beck). 20 months. Cream. Of a pleasing size. A keen showgirl and attentive to her handler at all times. She is well-bodied, but I felt she was carrying a little too much weight. Secure topline; well-set tail. She moved very well.

1ST Ir Ch Longsdale No More Drama Ir/Int JCh CW26 CJW26 TAF (Mr G & Mr D Pearce & Francis). 2 years. Impressive for shape, size and overall angulations. Pleasing head, being of tapering wedge shape, with correct stop. Well-set, oval, dark, expressive eyes; neat, correctly set ears. Enough neck above a well-ribbed body. Short loins. Stands on neat feet. Coat of a lovely texture and beautifully presented. Excels in movement. Delighted to award her a first CC and BOB.

2ND Ch Claran Court of Delights at Kichigai (Lady K S & Mr C Hickson). I first met her as a tiny puppy and am delighted she grew on sufficiently to gain her title. She is so utterly feminine. Small and decidedly feminine, she has plenty of bone and substance. Her head is a special feature, having super dark pigment and appealing dark eyes. Well-bodied. The longish grass unfortunately did her no favours today, which was a pity. Her correct, harsh coat was presented beautifully.

3RD Ch Longsdale's No More The Fool (Mr G & Mr D Pearce & Francis).

1ST Fecimus The Good Fairy (Mrs B Cheyney-Wiles). 10 years old and in amazing condition. Unfortunately, currently out of coat. Feminine head of correct proportions with a nicely wedge-shaped muzzle. She has dark eyes. Compact throughout and well-muscled. She moved really well. A credit to her owners' love and attention. Best Veteran.
