Of correct bone, with a fair neck and moderate angulations. There is depth to his chest and width to the ribcage. Presented in quality coat and wonderful condition. Smart on the move, he maintained his balanced profile, and in the Challenge he gave an impressive account of himself. Should do well. PBD and BPIB.

Limit Dog 6,1
1. Ever Single Verlaine The Poet at Glenauld (Misses L & S Mair). Smart-looking brindle of 18 months, presenting an eye-catching outline with pleasing balance and proportions throughout. His head is a strong feature, giving an attractive masculine expression, enhanced by dark, round, expressive eyes and correctly set ears. Muzzle is of good width and depth, completing the overall picture. He carries a good length of neck above a clean straight front, supported by strong pasterns and neat, compact feet. Body is short and well-knit, with nicely ribs, a deep chest, and a firm, level topline held securely on the move. He is well angulated fore and aft. Muscled hindquarters and adequate width of thighs and short, strong hocks. On the move, he is sure-footed and collected, covering the ground with ease. Overall, a pleasing and well-constructed youngster who combines breed type with impressive sound movement. Delighted to award him the CC (his second, I later learned) and BOB.

Crested neck and topline blend well together. Compact in body with ribs well back and short loins. Stylish mover but her could have been a tad sharper going away. In superb coat and condition and handled to best advantage.
3. Canmoy's Boston Coco Pops at Wildax Rowendale (Imp Fin) (Miss M A & Miss S Wildman & Davies).
Open Dog 5
1. Ch Wildax Liverpool Lad at Boxbos (Mr D Bennett). 5 ½ A beautifully balanced and proportioned, masculine dog, eye-catching yet elegant, with super markings and in fabulous coat. His head is a strong feature, displaying a square skull with beautiful, dark, round eyes that determine the true expression. Ears are correctly set, close to the corners, completing the picture. Muzzle is well padded, adding to overall strength. Neck is slightly arched, flowing into a strong, straight front. Shoulders are well placed, aiding easy forehand reach. Well-laid shoulders and correct upper arm, aiding forehand extension. Well bodied and a deep chest. Secure topline; excellent ribbing. OK for pasterns. Well-bent stifles. When standing, he can look slightly longer than he actually is, but this comes together well on the move. Close call.
3. Burlesk Tiger King (Mr G McCallum)
Veteran Bitch 1
1. Murrayclan Mary Queen of Scots (Mrs M Bundy). An exceptional exhibit for her 12 years, presenting a most pleasing and well-balanced outline. She retains femininity combined with evident strength and quality. Her dark, round eyes are bright and expressive, set within a well-proportioned head of correct type. Defined stop, excellent nose, and well placed ears, all contributing to a most typical expression. Her body is well ribbed with ample depth to chest; secure topline. She moved with notable soundness and ease, displaying balance and purpose. Her overall condition is exemplary and reflects the evident care and attention of her owner. BVIB.
Minor Puppy Bitch 2
1. Aprika Hollywood Dream TAF (Mr D M James). 6 months and lots to like. Head is balanced and square, containing dark round expressive eyes. Ears of good size and correctly set on flat skull. Gentle arch to neck. Good for depth of chest and ribbing. She holds a secure in topline. She moved impressively and decidedly accurate with it too! Certainly an exciting prospect.
2. Vickvally Ruby Aura (Miss P Gallagher). 8 months and not quite as confident as 1. Square skull. Her ears are nicely set and carried. Good length of neck. Would prefer her a tad shorter in loin. Moved OK. Has time.
Puppy Bitch 1
1. Lorddonens Menace in Venice (Miss J Gajda). 7 months. Attractive feminine head being of good shape, balanced and containing kind eyes. Muzzle developing. Would prefer her slightly shorter coupled at this stage of development. Ok for tail set. In excellent coat and condition. Stands on good feet. Moved OK.
Junior Bitch 4,1
1. Canmoy's Boston April Fool with Sirfon (Mr D Owen). 12 months. Just so cute, she really catches the eye and decidedly wilful! A smaller type; lovely brindle coat and produces an appealing square outline. Attractive head developing nicely and appropriate for her age. Eyes are worthy of note—round, dark and full of mischief—complemented by well-set ears. Gently arched neck flowing into well-laid shoulders, with a straight front and tidy feet. Chest is developing well. Holds a level topline with a low-set tail. When co-operating, she moved with purpose. A lovely character.
2. Ivyjewel Cast A Spell (Miss H Roulston) 15 months. Feminine youngster with typical head and expression contains dark, round eyes. Good neck and shoulders but not as mature in body as 1. Confident mover; forehand to settle. In good coat.
3. Jackarhys Our Lady Luck at Rokatoc (Mrs L Rickard).
Yearling Bitch 1
1. Jackarhys Our Lady Luck at Rokatoc (Mrs L Rickard). 17 months. – What a difference from the previous class; she really came into her own in this one. Well-marked throughout, with a balanced head and a deep, wide muzzle. Pleasing eyes full of expression. At times she can stand a little untidily, but holds a level topline and carries a low-set tail. Hindquarters are suitably angulated. Movement needs to settle a tad. Presented in lovely coat and excellent condition.
Post Graduate 4,1
1. Aprika Graceland JW (Miss S Masters). 1 year. A well-balanced youngster of lovely size, and presenting pleasing outline. Her coat is of super quality. Well set ears framing a square head with a flat top-skull. Dark expressive eyes. She has a good length of neck flowing into a well-constructed body, which has impressive ribbing with short loins, all aiding the desired profile. On the move, she was careful and maintained her overall balance. At just 1 year old, she shows great promise and should do well.
2. Olearia Westfalen Real Gold (Mrs M & Mrs V Monk & Jones). Approaching 2 years. I admired her size. She has a pleasing head which contains large, well placed eyes giving typical expression. Her neck flows nicely into well placed shoulders. Overall she is compactly made; ribs being carried well back. Chest of good width and firm in body. Nothing overexaggerated. When standing correctly, she presents a pleasing outline. On the move she covers the ground well but came back to me a tad wide in the final assessment. Presented in excellent coat and condition. Close call.
3. Durobrivae Bumble Bea (J Cox)

Well-proportioned hindquarters. Preferred the head and expression of 1. Presented in superb coat and condition.
3. Olearia Westfalen Real Deal (Mrs M & Mrs V Monk & Jones).
Open Bitch 8,3
A super class, headed by three worthy champions.
1. 1st. Ch Wildax Rowendale Krispy Kreme (Miss M A & Miss S Wildman & Davis). 18 months.
Thought her overall shape and proportions ideal, she simply screams breed type. She has a most beautiful feminine head, with ears set well to the corners of the skull, with dark round eyes completing the desired shape and expression. Her neck, topline and body blend smoothly together, and she carries her head proudly. Hindquarters are well made with a good turn of stifle and low set hocks. Well-marked and presented in lovely coat and condition. Her profile is stunning, maintaining the desired outline and balance. She can move a tad wide in front, which I noted; however, when placed in the context of her many virtues and sheer quality, this could not detract from her placing. A very stylish mover overall, with a silhouette that is hard to fault. Delighted to award her the CC to add to her collection!
2. Ch Wildax Shut That Door (Miss E & Miss A Rankin & Spenser). 3 years. Another beautiful, feminine bitch who pushed hard for top honours and shares many of the same virtues of 1. She has a lovely feminine head giving a most appealing expression. Slightly crested neck flowing into well laid-back shoulders, a strong, secure topline, and a deep chest in line with her elbows. Short, strong loins complete a well-balanced, square outline. On the move, she occasionally could a tad careless in front; however, set against her overall quality, breed type, and balance, this was a minor consideration. In such strong company, I had no hesitation in awarding her the RCC.
3. Ch Chelmbull Double Trouble (Mr D & Miss A Cund).
