1st Place 2589 - Ornella Honey Rider (Mr L & Mrs D Bettis). Best Puppy. A really attractive prospect for the future. Masculine with a lengthy head and strong, punishing jaw. Good bone, legs and feet. Ribs extend well back. Impressed on the move with some drive evident. I could have happily signed a CC for him.

Thick, muscular neck which could be longer for perfection. Well ribbed body with firm topline and some dog behind the tail. Good legs, bone and feet. Moved soundly.

1st Place 2594 - Ch/Ir Ch Thornberryhall U Can’t Touch This Ir Jch (Mr A & Miss L & Mr K Daly & Waddell & Crockett). CC & BOB. Excellent type and balance. Grand, masculine head and good length of neck. Deep, broad chest which is well slung. Good length of rib. Good hindquarters with plenty behind the tail. Very impressive on the move. Shown in first class coat and condition.

2nd Place 2590 - Ch Whooperhill Sand Dollar with Ornella JW (Mr L & Mrs D Bettis). Reserve CC. Another top quality dog, beautifully made and really satisfying to handle. Lovely head and expression with dark, keen eyes and big black nose pad. Good forehand with strong bone and decent feet. Well ribbed and shown in good muscle tone. This was reflected in his strong, driving action.

1st Place 2588 - Ornella Honey Crush (Mr L & Mrs D Bettis). Has lots of quality. Not quite the maturity of her litter brother as yet but beautifully balanced, feminine and soundly made. Very pleasing head and expression. Good neck and shoulders, some breadth and depth of chest. Strong body with ribs extending well back. Good coat texture.

1st Place 2593 - Ch/Ir Ch Thornberryhall Touch Me Ir Jch (Mr A & Miss L & Mr K Daly & Waddell & Crockett). CC. Litter sister to the BOB winner and I later learned that they have done “the double” on several occasions and it is easy to see why. Very free moving with plenty of power and drive. Good breadth of skull and strong, punishing jaw. Broad, deep chest and good bone, legs and feet. Good spring of rib and these extend well back to a strong, muscular loin. Presented in first class order.

2nd Place 2605 - Grevenia Higwen Amber Queen (Mrs V Smith). Reserve CC. Nicely balanced with a very typical head and expression. Not quite the breadth of chest of the winner but she is well slung and has good bone and nicely padded feet. Particularly strong hind action.
