Many thanks to my two excellent stewards, Lynette and Pauline. I thought there were some top quality hounds entered today. Temperaments were excellent despite the rather windy and noisy and windy conditions.
Class 619 SBD/B (3 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: 1589 PAGE, Miss Amy Giovanni Rude For Kokoadax (imp Ltu). Shown in very good coat and condition. Masculine, pleasing head and expression. Prominent breastbone and decent forehand. Well ribbed. Very good feet. Moved soundly.
2nd: 1568 BARNICOTT & PASCOE, Messrs A & M Fahoogle Minack. Nicely balanced with good ground clearance and a pleasing forehand. Needs to settle in topline. She moved out well with an easy action.
3rd: 1579 HEAP, Miss Patricia Ranglewood Katrine

1st: 1605 WILKINSON & WAKEHAM, Miss & Mr Carrie & Andrew & H Bronia Luciano. In my rough notes I wrote “definitely CC quality!” Masculine and well made all through with a most attractive head and expression. Excellent forehand with the best of legs and feet. Well ribbed and these extend well back to a strong loin. Strong, well-muscled hindquarters. Most impressive on the move and I admired him enough to give him BOB over the lovely bitch.

1st: 1576 GARLICK, Miss E A Ranglewood Christmas Star. Once he settled this dog really made the most of himself with his good carriage and particularly good hind action and this gave him the edge here. Typical, masculine head with dark, intelligent eye. Good forehand and bone. Nicely rounded rump.
2nd: 1600 RODRIGUES, Mrs S Sujarah Dare To Dream. Well balanced and presents a most pleasing picture on the table. Good head, nicely arched neck and good shoulders. Prominent forechest and well ribbed body.
3rd: 1587 O'NEILL, Ms Sue & ONEILL, Miss Kim Ranglewood Finlaggan At Donnadach

1st: 1580 LACEY, Miss Kirsty Louise Abydezi Shades Of Glory. Presents a lovely outline both standing and moving. Good forehand with proud carriage, well developed keel. Excellent topline and tailset. Nicely arched feet. Moved out well.
2nd: 1588 O'NEILL, Ms Sue & ONEILL, Miss Kim Ranglewood Pheonix At Donnadach. Very typey and well balanced. Good length of head with pleasing expression. Good forehand with quality bone. Could carry a fraction more weight for perfection. Very good muscle tone and he moved out well.
3rd: 1604 TAYLOR, Mr James Michael & HILTON, Mr Michael & BA Delsaux Made It Jumbo Band
Class 624 OD (4 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: 1586 MITCHELL, Miss Emily Ch Dachyclan Connolly At Bronia (imp Aus). A beautifully made dog of really obvious quality. Grand head and expression, excellent forehand with pronounced sternum and good bone and nicely arched feet. Excellent topline and tailset with ribs that extend well back. Moved with a very easy, flowing gait. Reserve CC.
2nd: 1577 GEESON, Miss Elizabeth Ch Abydachs Return Of The Night. Another dog I have admired in the past. He presents a classic outline standing and he maintains this on the move with his proud head carriage and good deportment. Good keel and length of sternum. Well ribbed body. Good ground clearance. Moved soundly.
3rd: 1583 MCNAUGHTON, Ms Lesley Ch Cedavoch Circeo
Class 625 VD (2 Entries) Abs: 0
Two handsome Veterans, both in excellent condition.
1st: 1596 ROBERTS, Mr D Ch Swansford Gabrieldor. Best Veteran. Nicely balanced and keeps his shape well at all times. Good head carriage, excellent neck and shoulders with good keel and length of sternum. Well ribbed body. Moved out well with an easy gait.
2nd: 1573 GARLICK, Miss E A Ranglewood Harvest Song. Attractive, masculine head and expression. Good forehand with decent bone and good feet. Ribs extend well back. Nicely rounded rump. Moved soundly.
Class 626 PB (3 Entries) Abs: 1
1st: 1582 LACEY, Miss Kirsty Louise Abydezi Abracadabra. Best Puppy. Mature in both body and attitude. Pleasing expression, excellent forehand. Good ground clearance. Well ribbed and her strongly made hindquarters were put to good use on the move.
2nd: 1571 CROSS, Mr L J Abeydezi Bellatrix Loggeta. Good forehand with ample bone and good feet. Very good forechest and length of sternum. Firm topline and shown in good coat and condition.
Class 627 JB (4 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: 1591 PIKE & CARTER, Mrs & Mrs Julie & Ashlie Swansford Olympiadora At Breezelyn. Ultra smart and handled to advantage. Long head with a most pleasing expression. Good neck and shoulders, well ribbed body. Nicely rounded, strong hindquarters. Sound and typical on the move.
2nd: 1606 WILKINSON & WAKEHAM, Miss & Mr Carrie & Andrew & H Bronia Luciella. Not quite as mature as the winner but very typey and well balanced with good ground clearance and pleasing topline. Good bone, legs and feet. Moved well.
3rd: 1578 GEESON, Mrs J F Abydachs Out Of The Fire (a.i)
Class 628 PGB (6 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: 1585 MCNAUGHTON, Ms Lesley Cedavoch Twist Of Fate. This lovely bitch made her handler work hard for her placing but she has lots of quality and is very pleasing to handle as she is well made all-through. Good forehand with pronounced sternum. Strong, well ribbed body and very good hindquarters. On the move, she has a very easy, flowing stride.
2nd: 1570 CHAPMAN, Mrs M Melminds Makayla. Another nicely made bitch, not quite the length of neck of the winner but she has a good forehand with defined breastbone. Good ground clearance and a well ribbed body. Sound on the move.
3rd: 1593 REID, Mr P & Mrs D Cavallibrook One Final Kiss At Maudaxi
Class 629 LB (4 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: 1574 GARLICK, Miss E A Kyrenia Queens Request With Ranglewood. Well put together and satisfying to handle as she has a nicely arched neck, good shoulders and a strong, well ribbed body. Good, well-muscled hindquarters gave her some propulsion on the move.
2nd: 1581 LACEY, Miss Kirsty Louise Abydachs Renegade Angel At Abydezi. A lovely character! Attractive head and expression, good forehand with decent sternum and good bone. Well ribbed but carries enough weight. Sound and free moving.
3rd: 1594 REID, Mr P & Mrs D Cavallibrook Ryhars Final Impression

A good class, I could have happily signed a CC for any of the four bitches presented.
1st: 1584 MCNAUGHTON, Ms Lesley Ch Cedavoch Just An Illusion. CC. Oozes quality and type with her proud carriage, lengthy arched neck and excellent forehand. Well ribbed body with good topline with slight rise over the loins and well-set tail. Strong, well-muscled hindquarters. Moved well in typical fashion.
2nd: 1597 ROBERTS, Mr D Ch Swansford Padmeadora JW. Reserve CC. Presents a lovely picture both standing and on the move. Well balanced with good ground clearance. Good bone, legs and feet. Sown in good muscle tone and this was reflected in her free, flowing gait.
3rd: 1575 GARLICK, Miss E A Ranglewood Andromeda

1st: 1567 BAILEY, Miss Diana Ch Glasvey Double Trouble For Loggeta JW VW. I noted that she too was of CC quality so I was not surprised to see that she has enjoyed a successful show career. Shown in grand condition, attractive head and expression. Nicely arched neck and good forehand. Ribs extend well back. Nicely rounded hindquarters with good muscle tone.
