Bath C.S. Championship Show 2026

A.V. Toy Breeders' Competition

1st Place

Graeme & Lisa Dixon – Lasagesse. A well-matched group of English Toy Terriers. All compactly made with a flowing, elegant outline. Dense, glossy coat with gleaming tan markings. Free moving with some drive apparent in all three exhibits.

2nd Place

Mrs Anne Halls – Jorazan. A classy group of Chihuahuas (Smooth Coat). All with good heads and decent sized, round eyes. The three of them were alert and on their toes and made a really good team.

3rd Place

Ms M Stokes – Anneymar. Bichon Frisé. All typical but perhaps not quite as well-matched as the two above, one being a real baby. All nicely balanced and happy to be on show.

A.V. Terrier Breeders' Competition

1st Place

Ruth Gee – Watercroft. A high-quality trio of Norfolk Terriers with so much to like about them. Good breadth of skull and nicely balanced heads with really keen, attentive expressions. All three were in good jackets and put on an impressive performance here.

A.V. Gundog Breeders' Competition

1st Place

Mrs Jenny Campbell – Ronevorg. Retriever (Flat Coated). A very professional performance from this kennel. Temperaments were absolutely typical of the breed. All appealed for both type and balance and as they moved in unison, I was able to appreciate their easy, flowing action.

2nd Place

Miss K Watts – Oakmarsh. Retriever (Chesapeake Bay). This lovely team also put on a very polished performance, typical, well-balanced and well-schooled with an air of strength and dignity.

3rd Place

Mr. S and Mrs Km Challis – Vizslanya. Hungarian Vizsla. Smart and lively with kind, gentle expressions. Showed to advantage and moved with a fluid, purposeful action.

A.V. Working Breeders' Competition

1st Place

Lisa Webb – Shalissa. Dobermann. Three smart exhibits all presenting a clean outline and good straight fronts with neat, well arched feet. All three had some drive going away from me and were shown in good muscle tone.

A.V. Pastoral Breeders' Competition

1st Place

Kim Harrell – Beaukita. Beauceron. This was a well matched group of handsome Beaucerons. All appeared to have good forehands and strong bodies. Well angulated hindquarters with double dewclaws.

2nd Place

Miss Tina Adkin & Mr Clive Pickering – Bouvibear. Catalan Sheepdog. Well balanced and very much alike, they put on a good show on the move with their easy, flowing action. All in good coat.

3rd Place

Miss P Willcock & Mrs L Ryan – Dynar. Samoyed. All three had an air of quality. Good body proportions and very typical “smiling” expressions. Moved out with some drive.

A.V. Utility Breeders' Competition

1st Place

Miss S Bennett – SEIJITSU. Japanese Akita Inu. A high-quality group, all much of a type. Good head with well-placed and nicely shaped eyes. All in good coat and condition. Moved soundly, I particularly loved the baby of the group!

A.V. Hound Breeders' Competition

1st Place

Sarah Dunsdon – Mawali. A good group of Basenjis, all with typical head and expressions, all had good length of leg and moved with an easy, swinging stride. Most attractive.

2nd Place

Sam Clark – Farlap. Another good quality group of hounds. Pleasing heads of good length and clean eyes. All had depth of chest and good ribbing with some breadth over the loins. Moved soundly.
