Of course the most thanks go to the exhibitors who brought some quality dogs for me to assess on the day and the sporting way my decisions were accepted

Veteran Dog (1)1, Hannington’s Eng & Bel Dutch Int Ch Esp Ch Boudivella Osca Vw Shcex. One who I have judged before and liked, today he didn’t disappoint. At 12 years this wheaten male, is a great testament to the breed longevity, still showing plenty of quality, character and sound movement. There is not much I would change. A super masculine head of correct proportions, good strength to jaw, well shaped expressive eye and neat well set ears. Excels in front construction with well-set shoulders and forelegs that are well boned with desired slight turn, good depth to chest, with well sprung ribs, just right for substance throughout and in grand condition. Movement was a joy to watch, effortlessly covering the with powerful drive behind. BOB & BV

Puppy Dog (2)1, Howell &Hardy’s Amhard Union Jack, showing lots of promise at this stage. I liked his head proportions and expression, masculine and right for his age ,his neck is of a good strength with moderate length, well laid and broad shoulders, ribs that are well sprung and carried back and holds his topline. Showing substance throughout and pleasing in height to length ratios, presented in harsh jacket, moved out well from strong quarters presented a balanced picture overall. 2, Saletti’s Clancy Thunderstorm, another promising youngster, pleasing head properties with good strength to foreface and defined stop, just right for substance and bone throughout. Chest and body of correct depth, firm topline leading rise to strong broad loin, Strong muscled quarters. Presented in good jacket that was harsh to the touch.

Post Graduate Dog (1) Hardy’s Jojase Brogan Midnight Blue with Amhard, I found this one full of breed type. I was particularly impressed with his correctly proportioned foreface with excellent strength. Well made in forehand stands on strong legs that were slightly bowed. Strong neck of moderate length, lovely depth and ribbing, holds a firm topline, with good tailset and carriage Sound on the move from all directions and presented a pleasing outline whilst standing and on the move.


Limit Dog (3 1a) 1, Hannington’s Boudivella Love Story JW, Masculine head with good length and width with desired strength to foreface with excellent expression and neat ear. Just right length of body for height, good strength to neck, good depth to chest with nice spring to ribs that are well ribbed back, firm topline, pleasing bend to stifle and parallel hocks. He is well developed throughout and just right for substance, presented in pleasing harsh jacket. Covers the ground with ease and just had the edge in drive from rear today. 2, Kirkwood’s Cenaubach Can’t Catch Me. I noted his impressive masculine head that is so well proportioned of pleasing shape and strength, with keen dark expression, framed with neat rose ear. Pleasing strength to jaw with correct dentition. Good depth of chest and pleasing spring to ribs, strongly boned legs, pleasing length of body for height, firm in topline with desired rise to strong loin.

Open Dog (2 1a) Pryce’s Ch Cenaubach I Do JW. In the dog line up he look so similar in make, shape and qualities to my BD, now I see why being his son. I really liked his head which had undeniable power to it but without exaggeration. So well balanced throughout, good strong neck, deep chest with good spring to ribs, impressive rear quarters which he certainly puts to good use one the move, moving so well in profile which especially displayed his overall balance fitting everything together nicely.RBD

Puppy Bitch (2 1a) 1, Saletti’s Jojace Ciara Firestorm. Presents a pleasing outline with good bone and substance for age, Pleasing in head, which is correctly proportioned with defined stop and kind alert eye and strength in jaw. Nicely angulated both in front and rear. She moved well around the ring covering the ground well

Junior Bitch (2)Two very promising youngsters.1, Fobister &Davies’s Wilgusbin Wonder pleasing height and length proportions, ,Hands on her confirmation is just what you hope for. Well-made fore and aft, strong and moderate neck, firm topline really good width of thigh moved out well in profile with effortless stride 2, Hardy’s Amhard Uschi. I was quite taken with this 11mth old who has undeniable femininity and breed type. Balanced head with super expression. Good bone and substance for age. Displays a good reach of neck, with well sprung ribs and a good depth to chest. Moved out well, a happy showgirl who combines sound construction with undeniable charm. BP

Post Grad Bitch (1) Hannington’s Boudivella Dottie. Last judged this one as a puppy, and nice to see she has developed into pleasing balanced picture. Her feminine head appeals demonstrating strength without coarseness, defined stop strength to jaw, well boned legs that were slightly bowed, holds her topline well. Excellent bone and depth and her ribs are well sprung, good strong loin and pleasing bend of stifle. Found her in firm condition and pleasing jacket .Very sound both ends with plenty of drive and ground coverage.

Limit Bitch (1) Kirkwoods’s Cazcade Coming Around Again. Found this one, honest and typey all through. Feminine typical head that had desired strength without exaggeration, dark well shaped eyes all framed with lovely neat rose ears. Her clean neck flows into well placed shoulders, topline was firm, just right for substance and bone throughout. Chest and body of correct depth, Strong muscled quarters. She really comes together on the move, as she moved efficiently and effortlessly around the ring

Open Bitch. 1, Pryce’s Ch Cazcade And So It Begins. Impressive in head that demonstrates strength but remains feminine, correctly proportioned with dark eye and neat rose ears. Carries strong bone and substance in proportion with well placed angles fore and aft. Her forelegs are well boned and slightly bowed stands on strong pads. Of correct length to height proportions, contributing to a really pleasing outline, a sound and honest girl who combines substance, strength with femininity all of which very much appealed. Pleasing in jacket which has a very good texture.BB. 2, Kirkwood’s Ch Cazcade Betty Boop, very similar qualities to 1, and now I see why being sisters. Lovely typical head of good length and width with strength, nothing overdone. Pleasing body proportions with correct depth of chest and spring to ribs. She is just right for substance and bone and of pleasing height to length proportions Sound on the move from all directions and presented a pleasing outline whilst standing and on the move, splitting hairs between these two RBB.

Good Citizen Bitch. 1, Saletti’s Jojase Bridie True Blue. Much to like, Pleasing head proportions, strong yet in no way overdone, nor losing feminine. Pleasing in neck, leading to well constructed front assembly with. She has just the right amount of depth to chest and, strong loin desired slight rise , moved out well from strong quarters, in excellent coat presented a very balanced picture overall. Nicely muscled quarters, good free easy mover.
