JD (2,1)

1. Jenks’ Albadhu Force Be with You. 15 mth old who was well handled here and presented a pleasing outline. Slightly arched neck of correct length to balance, pretty good in topline, brisket reaches the elbows, ribbing extends well back, correct croup and tail pleased for both set and carriage. Masculine head with sufficient breadth to skull, expressive eyes, ears set on high, well fitting lips and correct dentition. On the move, he moved freely coming towards but could open up a touch more on the go around. Good coat. Well handled.

1. Bates’ Crumpsbrook Hendrick. This 2 yr old presented a nicely balanced outline with muscular neck, firm backline, good depth to brisket, ribbing well sprung, correct croup and well feathered tail of good carriage. Pleasing head with masculine expression; slightly rounded skull, ears set on well, medium-sized eyes and excellent dentition. He stands on nice tight feet but would like to see more fill in front and this reflects when coming towards, however he has a springy gait viewed in profile.

1. Suchett-Kaye’s Bosko vom Ahler Esch with Settskaye (Imp Deu). Three quite different dogs challenged here. This 6 yr old came out on top and has much to like. All male, he is well off for bone and well-muscled all through. Slightly arched neck which flows smoothly into well laid shoulders, firm topline, good depth to chest, excellent ribbing, muscular loin, correct croup and tail pleased for set and carriage. Masculine headpiece with good skull, ears set on high, pleasing eye, well fitting lips and scissor bite. He stands true in front on very good feet and is well angulated in the rear. Gaiting freely on the down and back and scores here for profile action and carriage. Best Dog.

2. Caile’s Foxy Gabber Uut 't Vossebeltseveld for Kamaze (Imp Nld). 4 yr old presenting a pleasing outline with slightly arched muscular neck, firm backline, good depth to brisket, well sprung ribbing which extends well back, well-muscled loin and good croup. Elongated head with slightly rounded skull, medium-sized eyes of good colour, ears set on well, correct dentition and overall pleasing expression. He carries good bone and stands on well knuckled feet. On the move, he could be cleaner when coming towards and couldn’t quite match the profile action of the winner. Reserve Best Dog.

3. Bodimeade’s Car Z Brumovskeho Udoli (Imp Cze)

1. Simpson & Johnston’s Leriton Corvus Astron. Two 16 mth old sisters competed here with this girl taking the class and for me, she was a comfortable winner. She pleased hands on and presented a balanced outline with slightly arched neck, firm topline, good depth to chest, ribbing carried well back, correct croup and tail good for both set and carriage. Most attractive head and expression with pleasing eye and ear, well fitting lips and scissor bite. She has good angles both ends and pleased in forechest. Went well on the go around and scored over 2 when coming and going.

2. Simpson & Johnston’s Leriton Antlia. This girl doesn’t quite have the bone of her sister and also wasn’t quite as good in outline. Muscular neck but not quite flow into the shoulders that I was looking for, firm backline, brisket reaches the elbows, good croup and tail pleased for set and carriage. Feminine headpiece with good eye and ear. She stands nice and straight in front on correct feet. When gaiting, she has a moderate length of stride and could be more accurate when coming towards.

1. Ryder’s Crumpsbrook Escher. 2 yr old who presented a nicely balanced outline with slightly arched muscular neck, firm topline, good depth to brisket, well sprung ribbing and well-muscled loin but tail carried a touch higher. Feminine head with appealing expression; good eyes, ears set on ok, well fitting lips and good dentition. She stands well naturally in front on correct feet but would like to see more forechest development. On the move she insisted on gaiting with her head down which didn’t help, moving with a moderate length of stride and could be more accurate when coming towards.

OB (4,1)

1. Ogle & Suchett-Kaye’s Dual Ch Raycris The Temptress. 6 yr old who very much appealed, was excellent hands on and solidly built all through. She has an excellent neck, is firm through the backline, brisket reaches the elbows, ribbing is well sprung, muscular loin, correct croup and tail just right for set and carriage. Attractive head which is full of femininity; expressive eyes of good colour, ears set on high, strength to jaw, well-fitting lips and good dentition. I liked her angles front and rear and she stands well naturally in front on excellent feet. When gaiting, moves freely on the down and back and has a lovely length of stride when viewed in profile. Best Bitch and BOB.

2. Robins’ Tarkanya Ritas Ruby with Destanli. 3 yr old who carries good bone and presented a nicely balanced outline. Neck of correct length to balance, firm topline, pleasing rib, well-muscled loin, correct croup and tail good for set and carriage. Feminine headpiece with pleasing eye and ear and correct dentition but for me the winner had the edge in overall expression. She stands on well knuckled feet but is a tad wider in front and this reflected when gaiting, however she is accurate going away and also pleased on the go around.

3. Simpson & Johnston’s Ekkolander Persephone Red at Leriton

1. Ward’s Sh Ch Braccpoint Song of The Wind for Gemlorien. Quality girl of 8 yrs who was a pleasure to go over given her correct construction. She presented a lovely outline with muscular neck, firm backline, brisket reaches the elbows, first class ribbing, correct croup and tail set and carriage just as required. Feminine head with slightly rounded skull, expressive eyes, ears set on well, well fitting lips and scissor bite. I liked her angulation both front and rear and she stands true in front on excellent feet and is well developed in forechest. Gaiting freely when coming and going and also pleased on the go around with good length of stride. Good coat. Very well handled. Reserve Best Bitch and Best Veteran.
