PGD (1,0)

1. Hooley’s Akna Palmatum. Exuberant 19 mth old grey/white who has much to like. He pleased in outline with correct length of neck, firm topline, moderate spring of rib which is carried well back, muscular loin and tail good for both set and carriage. Attractive wedge-shaped head with super eye and ear, moderate length to muzzle, clean lips and scissor bite. He stands on good feet and I liked his rear angulation. On the move, he pleased coming and going and also went well on the go around. Good quality coat. Reserve Best Dog.

1. Allen’s Qimugta Malfy. 3 yr old grey/white who very much appealed for overall type and he presented a lovely outline. Muscular neck, firm level back, good depth to brisket, ribbing moderately sprung and extending well back, muscular loin and tail pleasing for both set and carriage. Well proportioned head with masculine expression; obliquely set eyes of good colour, ears set on well, muzzle of moderate length and correct dentition. Standing on well arched toes, when gaiting he opened up well when viewed in profile and is nice and firm behind. Good coat and well-muscled all through. Best Dog.

2. Atkins & Douglas’ Ir Ch Qimugta S'holmes Ir Jun Ch. 4 yr old white/red who couldn’t be more different to the winner. Out of a larger mould but still with plenty to like. Probably more neck than the standard actually calls for but it is muscular, firm through the topline, deep chest, correct ribbing, well-muscled loin and tail set on moderately high and of good carriage. Masculine head with breadth to skull, pretty good eyes, ears set on well, moderate length to muzzle and scissor bite. I would like a touch more width in front but he moved out very well on the go around and is accurate going away. Shown in good coat and condition.

3. Byrne’s Aavuuta Qimmiq Akiak ShCEx (imp Can)

1. Hooley’s Akna Zira. 6 mth old grey/white with an adorable temperament. Very much a baby as you would expect but she shows much promise. When settled she presented a nicely balanced outline with good neck, firm backline, ribcage of good length and tail pleased for set and carriage. Totally feminine in head with correct wedge-shape, dark obliquely placed eyes, ears set on well and correct dentition. Pleasing angulation both ends and she has very good feet. Moving very well on the go around and goes pretty well on the down and back. Good coat. Best Puppy.

1. Hooley’s Snoqualmie Fairy Firefly. 20 mth old black/white who is at the teenager stage right now and needs time to fill out. Neck of correct length, level topline, ribbing carried well back but still to fully develop, well-coupled and tail set on moderately high and of pleasing carriage. Wedge-shaped head with ears set on well, dark expressive eyes, tapering muzzle of moderate length and scissor bite. Pleasing angles front and rear but standing a little untidy in front right now. Moves out with moderate length of stride. Excellent temperament.

1. Allen’s Ir Ch Qimugta Neptunia Ir Jun Ch. 3 yr old white/red. This girl ticked all the boxes for me; totally feminine, excelling for type and presenting a superb outline. Muscular neck of correct length, firm straight back, good depth to brisket, correct ribbing, well-muscled loin, good underline and tail just right for set and carriage. Most attractive head with breadth to skull, obliquely placed eyes of good colour, ears set on well, close fitting lips and scissor bite. She stands just right naturally and certainly didn’t disappoint when gaiting and I particularly liked her profile action and carriage. Good quality coat and presented in excellent condition. Best Bitch & BOB.

2. Atkins’ Ir/Lux Ch Qimugta Miss Marple Ir Jun Ch. 4 yr old black/white. Very different to the winner and out of a larger mould but still with lots to like. Balanced in outline with muscular neck of correct length, level topline, chest of good depth, moderately sprung ribs, well-developed loin and tail good for both set and carriage. Shoulders well laid, standing on large feet and muscular hindquarters with well turned stifles. Feminine headpiece with good skull, expressive eyes of good colour, ears set on well and correct dentition. Pleasing action all through but winner just had touch more width in front. Super temperament. Reserve Best Bitch.
