JD (1,0)

1. Butler’s Mickleview Fly High at Yarbach. 13 mth old blue. Pleasing outline with long, clean neck, muscular body with correct arch over the loin, brisket still to fully drop, short loin and tail set on low and of good carriage. Narrow skull of good depth, expressive eyes of good colour, leathers thin as desired and set on low, good underjaw and excellent dentition. Standing as the breed should in front on correct feet. Gaiting pretty well all through. Pretty good texture to coat but presentation could be enhanced to advantage.

LD (2,0)

1. Jackson’s Rhicullen Blue Knight JW. 18 mth old blue who was a comfortable winner here for me. He presented a good outline with good length of neck, muscular body with brisket reaching the elbows, arch over the loin, correct croup and tail pleased for both set and carriage. Masculine head with narrow skull of good depth, very good eyes for shape and colour, leathers thin and velvety and set on low, good length to muzzle and scissor bite. Standing correctly in front and pleasing angles both ends. He went well on the go around and when coming towards, just a touch wider going away. Decent texture to coat. Well handled.

2. Scott’s Amifedele Hashtag Hipster. 3 yr old blue with clean neck of good length, pretty good in topline, deep through the brisket, correct ribbing and tail set on ok but not carriage of winner. Pleasing headpiece with correct narrow skull which has good depth, expressive eyes, leathers set on low and nice and thin, strength to jaws of good length and correct dentition. Not standing quite as typical in front and when gaiting he could have opened up more to advantage and winner also had the edge coming towards. Well presented and handled.

OD (6,2)

1. McNally’s Ch Conekesheved Out of the Blue JW. 3 yr old blue dog who was excellent to go over and he pleased for overall type. Good length to neck, correct ribbing and brisket reaches the elbows, arch over the loin, correct croup and tail set on low and of pleasing carriage. Quality head with desired narrow skull which has good depth, dark expressive eyes of correct shape and well filled below, leathers thin and velvety and set on low, good length to jaws, excellent dentition and nice dark pigmentation. Pleasing angles both front and rear and he stands just as he should in front on very good feet. Moving well all through with good carriage. Thick, linty coat and so very well presented. CC & BOB.

2. Fletcher’s Ch Sharnor Sultan of Spica JW. 2 yr old blue who also appealed and was handled to advantage here. He presented a very good outline and has an excellent neck, correct topline for the breed, flat ribbing which reaches the elbows, short in the couplings and tail set on low but not quite carriage of that of winner. Very nice head and expression with narrow skull of good depth, very good eyes for shape and colour, leathers set on low and nice and thin, strength to his jaws which are of good length and scissor bite. Standing well naturally in front and moderately angulated in the rear. Goes well on the go around, nice and firm when going away and although good in front, 1 just had the edge. Very well presented. RCC.

3. Offer’s Ch Woolytop The Phezantplukka JW

PB (5,2)

1. Fletcher’s Maevani Huntress of Spica. 10 mth old blue who shows much promise. Graceful and totally balanced and she was excellent to go over given her correct construction. Long, tapering neck, correct ribbing, natural arch over the loin, correct slope to croup and tail set on low. Quality head with good depth to her narrow skull, expressive eyes of correct shape, leathers are thin and velvety and set on just right, muzzle of good length, excellent underjaw and scissor bite. Good angulation both ends and standing correctly in front and she certainly didn’t disappoint on the move. Very good texture to coat and so well presented. RCC and Best Puppy.

2. McNally’s Notice Queen's Gambit at Conekesheved (imp Swe). 10 mth old sandy who has potential but is rather raw right now. She pleased for outline with clean neck of good length to balance, correct topline, short in the couplings, correct croup and tail pleased for both set and carriage. Very nice head and expression; narrow skull which has good depth, excellent eyes for shape and colour, low set leathers which are thin as required, long tapering jaw and scissor bite. Moving pretty well all through but winner had the edge. Good coat and presentation. Needs time.

3. Martin’s Lorraine Honeymist Fever Dreamz

JB (2,0)

1. Scott’s Mickleview Lay Down Sally. 13 mth old blue who took this class with some room to spare, pleasing for type and good hands on. She has a good length of neck, ribcage of good length but brisket still to drop, correct arch over her short loin, good croup and tail of correct length which is set on low. Narrow skull of good depth and rounded, expressive bright eyes of good colour which are well filled below, leathers are nice and thin and of correct set, good length to jaws and correct dentition. Pleasing angles front and rear and she stands well naturally in front. Light correct action and particularly good when going away.

2. De’Lara’s Rhicullen Twinkling Star. 16 mth old liver. Long tapering neck, pretty good through the topline, ribbing carried well back, correct slope to croup and tail set on low and of pleasing carriage. Well proportioned head with narrow skull, expressive eyes of correct shape but could use more fill below, leathers are thin and set on low and she has a correct scissor bite. On the move, she went pretty well when viewed from behind but couldn’t match the front or profile action of the winner.

PGB (2,0)

1. Scott’s Silverkinn Time For Tea Rose. Two very different bitches competed here with my winner found in this 2 yr old blue. Presented in good coat and condition, she was the best hands. Long tapering neck, good length to ribcage, pretty good topline, fair underline, short loin and tail set on low. I liked her head and expression having the correct narrow skull which has good depth, eyes of correct shape and good for colour, leathers are thin and set on low, muzzle of good length with strength to underjaw and scissor bite. She stands just as she should in front on good feet. Driving well from the rear and ok on the go around and coming towards.

2. Gillies’ Travellerways Flora. Blue of 4 yrs who is out of a smaller mould than the winner. She has a clean neck of good length, is ok through the topline, short loin, correct slope to croup and tail is set on low and of pleasing carriage. Feminine headpiece with narrow skull, expressive eyes which pleased for shape and colour, leathers are nice and thin and set on low and dentition is correct, however I would have liked to see more length to muzzle. Feet are flatter than the ideal and her overall action could not match that of 1.

LB (5,3)

1. Collier’s Tunman Apple Be Lucky for Pocoblu. This was another class which saw two quite different girls challenging. This 2 yr old blue came out on top and she scored in overall outline and was pleasing to go over. She has a nice long neck, brisket reaches the elbows, pretty good through the topline, correct slope to croup and tail of correct length which is set on low and pleased for carriage. Nicely proportioned head with feminine expression, correct narrow skull, eyes good for shape and colour, leathers are set on low and thin and velvety, good underjaw and scissor bite. Standing as she should in front on correct feet and moving pretty well all through. Good texture to coat.

2. Ross’ Mactufts Kindred Spirit. Blue of 6 yrs. Smaller girl who is quite different in outline to the winner. Clean neck, ribcage of good length but rather more rib than the ideal, short loin, good croup and tail set on low and pleasing for carriage. Feminine in head with pleasing eyes for shape and colour although could use more fill below, leathers are set on low but could be thinner, scissor bite and nice dark pigmentation. Standing a little untidy in front, moving ok on the go around but somewhat closer going away. Coat of correct texture.

OB (7,1)

1. Ellis’ Ch Fralex Culibre Jacquetta JW. 2 yr old blue who is absolutely full of quality and she was so good hands on. I thought her correct for size and she presented a super outline with long tapering neck, the best of toplines with natural arch over the loin, correct ribbing, brisket reaching the elbows, good croup and tail set on low and of correct carriage. Feminine head with narrow skull of good depth, expressive eyes of good colour and shape, low set leathers which are thin and velvety, good fill below the eyes, good length to muzzle with strong jaws and scissor bite. Good angulation both ends and she stands as the breed should in front and she has correct feet. Super profile action with correct carriage showing excellent drive from the rear. Very well presented with desired thick linty coat. Well handled. CC.

2. McNally’s Ch Conekesheved Too Shy JW. 3 yr old blue and another of quality and presented in the best of coats and condition. She has an excellent neck, good depth to brisket, correct ribcage, short in the couplings, slope to croup and tail of correct length which pleased for both set and carriage. Most attractive head and expression; narrow skull of good depth, the best of eyes with good fill below, thin leathers set on low, muzzle of good length, excellent underjaw and scissor bite. Standing as desired in front on very good feet and moderately angulated in the rear. Goes well when gaiting viewed from all directions but winner just had the edge.
