1. Sharp-Dixon’s Bilken Janjero Gibbi avec Queenslake (Imp Esp) TAF. 11 mth red/white with plenty to like. Neck of good length, short level back, ribbing carried well back, short coupled and curled tail set on high with ‘bum’ behind. Masculine head of good proportions, expressive eyes of good colour, slightly hooded ears, pleasing wrinkling and correct dentition. He stands well naturally in front on excellent feet but is still to develop in forechest. Pleasing action on the down and back and pretty good length of stride when viewed in profile. Best Puppy.

1. Williams & Wright ‘s Ch/nld Ch Mawali Going Four Gold. Two quality red/white dogs battled it out here with this 5 yr old taking the win. Lightly built as desired with well crested neck of good length, nice short back with firm topline, good depth to brisket, ribbed well back, short in the couplings and excellent tail for set and carriage. Quality head with good skull to muzzle proportions, wrinkling to forehead, expressive almond-shaped eyes which are obliquely set, slightly hooded ears and scissor bite. I liked his angles front and rear and he stands true in front on compact feet. Moving freely coming and going and with a nice easy length of stride on the go around. CC & BOB.
2. Hallam, Kite & Gillespie’s Ch/Am Ch Klassic's Cloudside Walker (Imp Usa). 3 yr old who was close up to the winner here and although quite different to the 1, he also appealed and was good hands on. Well crested neck of good length to give balance, short firm backline, good depth to chest, ribs well sprung and carried well back, short loin and curled tail set on high with ‘bum’ behind. Masculine head with good skull to muzzle proportions, wrinkling to forehead, almond-shaped eyes which are full of expression, correct ears and good dentition. Standing well naturally on the best of feet and when gaiting, he also went very well on the go around, is true behind but winner just had the edge coming towards. RCC.

1. Legget’s Ch/Ir Ch Swanwite Take A Chance On Me ShCEx Cw25 VW. 7 yr old red/white who was a delight to go over and presented here in firm, hard condition. Presenting a well balanced outline with neck of good length, nice short back, good depth to brisket, first class ribbing, short loin and single curled tail which is set on nice and high. Head of good proportions with masculine expression; obliquely set almond-shaped eyes, slightly hooded ears, wrinkled forehead, slight stop and scissor bite. Pleasing angles front and rear and he stands nice and straight in front on correct feet. Eye catching profile action and self carriage. Best Veteran.
2. Hardy & Hallam’s Ch Tokaji Walking in Memphis. 7 yr old tricolour who also pleased in outline with well crested neck of good length, short firm back, correct ribbing, nice and short in the couplings and curled tail set on high as desired. Flat skull, wrinkled forehead, slightly hooded ears, muzzle of correct length to balance and scissor bite but winner had the edge for eye shape. Moving with good stride and carriage on the go around, firm when going away but not quite front action of 1. Short, close coat and pliant skin.

1. Hallam, Kite, Gillespie & Owen’s Am Ch Klassic's Springwillow for Wente (Imp Usa). Rather varied class which saw this 17 mth old red/white come out on top. She pleased for neck which is of good length and well crested, short level back, ribbed well back, short loin and curled tail set on well with ‘bum’ behind. Feminine head with wrinkled forehead, pleasing eye and ear and correct dentition but overall expression not quite what I was looking for. I liked her angulation both front and rear and she stands nice and straight in front on excellent feet and is firm in the rear with hocks let well down. She scored in this class for soundness and she is clean coming and going and has a good length of stride when viewed in profile. RCC.
2. Legget’s Here We Go Again at Swanwite JW. 16 mth old tricolour who has plenty to like. She has a tremendous neck which is well crested, short back with firm topline, pleasing ribbing, nice and short in the loin and curled tail set on high as required. Feminine headpiece with good proportions, slightly hooded ears, wrinkling to forehead and correct dentition but eyes a touch rounder than the ideal. On the move, she pleased on the go around with good stride and self carriage but winner had the edge coming towards.
3. Jardine’s Zulnelsal Star Attraction

1. Sharp-Dixon’s Convica She's Got The Look avec Queenslake TAF. 16 mth old red/white with pleasing outline. Neck of good length with desired crest, nice short back, pleasing rib development, short in the couplings and high set tail. Feminine in head with flat skull, wrinkled forehead, expressive almond-shaped eyes which are obliquely placed, slight stop and correct dentition. She needs to develop in forechest and I would like to see better feet. Moving out pretty well on the go around and scoring over 2 here when coming at you.
2. Lark’s Shyllar Turning Tables. 16 mth old red/white with pleasing length of neck, short back with firm topline, ribcage extends well back, short in the couplings and curled tail set on high with ‘bum’ behind, the latter being better than that of winner. Flat skull with wrinkled forehead, slightly hooded ears, eyes of good colour but not quite shape I was looking for, muzzle of correct length to balance and good dentition. Moving ok when viewed in profile but could be more accurate too and fro.

1. Donaldson & Rabbitte & Van-Dal’s Woodella Caledonia. Red/white girl of 2 yrs who pleased overall and was particularly well handled here. Well crested neck of good length, short firm back, well sprung ribs, short in the couplings and curled tail set on nice and high. Attractive head with flat skull, wrinkled forehead, slightly hooded ears, expressive eyes which are correctly placed in the skull, slight stop and scissor bite. She stands well naturally in front on compact feet and was presented in excellent condition. Eye catching profile action and carriage, true when going away and more than ok coming towards.
2. Casentieri’s The Impossible Girl of Alchez. Approaching 4 yrs, this tricolour presents a nicely balanced outline with good length of neck, short firm back, good length to ribcage, short in the couplings and curled tail set on high with ‘shelf’ behind. Feminine headpiece with flat skull, slight stop, correct ears for size and set, scissor bite and eyes of good colour but a little rounder. She stands true in front on good feet and when gaiting, she has an excellent length of stride and carries herself with style, however winner had the edge when going away.

1. Jardine’s Ch Tadrose North Star. Quality red/white girl of 7 yrs. Presented in excellent condition, this girl was a standout among the bitches present here today. Well crested neck of good length to balance, firm level back, excellent ribbing, good depth to chest, nice and short in the couplings and curled tail set on high with desired shelf. Well proportioned head with feminine expression; flat skull with wrinkled forehead, slight stop, almond-shaped eyes which are obliquely placed and scissor bite. I liked her angles front and rear, she stands well naturally in front on compact feet and hocks are well let down. Certainly didn’t disappoint on the move, having an excellent length of stride and stylish carriage on the go around and she also pleased when coming and going. Very well handled to take the CC.
