1. Perfitt’s Hilshki Heart Full Mischief. Two very different puppies competed against each other here with the win going to this 8 mth old. He has a smidge more length than I would prefer but overall he has much to like. Pleasing neck, firm level back, ribbing carried well back, good croup and tail set on well and of good carriage. Nicely proportioned head with dark oval-shaped eyes which are well placed in the skull, well feathered ears set on fairly high, cushioning to muzzle, good chin and excellent dentition. Soundly built both ends and moving freely all through. Best Puppy Dog.

2. Lemon’s Oldcharm Ginger Nuts. 7 mth old who presented a super outline with correct length of neck to balance, firm through the topline, rib developing as it should for age, correct croup and tail set on high and carried as you would wish. Head of good proportions but has some developing to do, correct stop, eyes of good colour and ears set on well. He stands on correct hare feet and when gaiting, he carries himself with confidence. Excellent temperament.

1. Morton’s Linsdown Remus. 8 mth old who certainly is very lively! Correct length of neck to balance, level topline, pleasing rib development, firm loin and plumed tail set on well and of good carriage. Good skull to muzzle proportions, nice dark eyes, ears set on fairly high and with some lift and very good pigmentation. Pleasing angles front and rear and he stands well naturally in front and has correct feet for the breed. On the move, he pleased on the go around, is firm going away and ok coming towards.

JD (1,0)

1. Smith’s Parloueve Happy As Larry with Lacoral. Coming up to 12 mths and in the middle of casting his puppy coat which makes him look a touch leggy. Strong neck of pleasing length, excellent topline, ribbing carried well back, firm loin and tail set on high and of good carriage. Masculine headpiece with good skull to muzzle proportions, eyes of good colour but a shade rounder, ears good for size and set and pleasing cushioning to muzzle. I liked his angulation both ends and he stands on correct hare feet. On the move he uses himself to advantage such is his character and he went well when viewed in profile and also pleased coming and going.

PGD (5,1)

1. Bevis’ Lacoral Duke of York at Starlance JW. This was a particularly varied class with some very different dogs present. This 21 mth old took the win and I thought him the best overall package. I wouldn’t want him any bigger but he appealed for type, was good hands on and of good construction. Very good neck, level through the topline, very good rib, correct croup and plumed tail which pleased for both set and carriage. Balanced head with masculine expression; slight dome to skull, excellent eye and ear, cushioning to muzzle and good dentition. Well made both ends, gaiting freely all through and with confident carriage.

2. Hassell & Vine’s Lacoral King Edward at Beanalrem. This boy is out of a smaller mould than the winner and they turned out to be littermates. Balanced outline with correct length of neck, firm straight back, well developed ribbing and tail set on high and of good carriage. Good skull to muzzle proportions, eyes of good colour, ears set on fairly high and cushioned muzzle but not quite the expression of his brother. This lad also pleased for construction and he stands on breed typical feet. On the move, he went well all through but 1 just had the edge.

3. Rice’s Ricox I Deserve Your Love JW

LD (6,2)

1. Lemon’s Parloueve Love Explosion at Oldcharm. This was another class with some quite different boys competing. This 21 mth old was my winner and he very much appealed and used himself at all times. He presented a lovely outline with correct length of neck, firm backline, well sprung ribs with ribcage of good length, correct croup and plumed tail set on well and of good carriage. Most attractive head and expression with slightly domed skull, the best of eyes, well feathered ears set on fairly high, blunt muzzle with cushioning and nice dark pigmentation. He stands well in front on very good feet and when gaiting, he went well on the down and back and was eye catching on the go around. Very good coat. RCC.

2. Keepence & Keyte’s Oldcharm Peaky Love for Alandobel JW. 4 yr old who pleased for size, was good hands on and is totally sound. Moderately short neck, firm in topline, well sprung ribbing, short in the couplings, good croup and plumed tail set on high and of pleasing carriage. Good skull to muzzle proportions, ears set on fairly high, eyes could be a touch darker to enhance expression, blunt cushioned muzzle and pleasing dentition. Standing on correct hare feet and on the move he was true when coming and going and also pleased when viewed in profile.

3. Bevis’ Souska Touch The Sky over Starlance JW

OD (5,1)

1. Cooper’s Ch/Nld Ch Dedicated To Legend Is Born Susu (Imp). 3 yr old who was a standout in this class and he was a delight to go over. All male, he presented a super outline with strong neck of correct length to give balance, firm through the topline, first class ribbing, muscular loin, good croup and plumed tail correct for set and carriage. Masculine headpiece but with no suggestion of coarseness; excellent skull, oval-shaped eyes of good colour, ears set on as they should be, cushioned muzzle of medium length, defined chin and good dentition. Excellent front assembly with slight bow to the forelegs and standing on such good feet. When gaiting, he excels on the go around and has superb self carriage. Quality coat and presentation. CC & BOB.

2. Lemon’s Parloueve Made You Look. This lad of 3 yrs also has plenty to like and another who was very good for balance and outline. Strong neck, level topline, well sprung ribbing, firm loin, correct croup and tail is richly plumed and set on high. Masculine head but not quite as good proportions as those of winner, expressive eyes of correct shape and colour and placed fairly well apart, well feathered pendant ears, cushioned muzzle but with some wrinkling evident, good chin and well pigmented. Pleasing angles front and rear and on the move he goes well on the go around and uses himself to the max but 1 had the edge on the down and back. Good coat.

3. Morton’s Linsdown Gibran

1. Thompson’s Ch Susu Prince Charming ShCEx VW. You really couldn’t find two more different dogs than the two who competed in this class. This glamorous 8 yr old boy took the win and he has much to like and was handled to advantage. Correct neck, firm backline, ribbing well sprung, short loin and richly plumed tail set on high. Attractive head and expression; good skull to muzzle proportions, dark oval-shaped eyes, ears of correct set, cushioning to muzzle and well pigmented. He stands on excellent feet and on the move, he went well when viewed in profile and pleased coming towards but is a tad closer behind. Well presented. Best Veteran Dog.

2. Hall’s Balgay Kitang Po VW. 9 yr old who has the most amazing temperament and obviously loves life! He is all male and was presented here in excellent coat and condition. Strong neck, firm topline but with a touch more length than the ideal, well sprung ribbing, correct croup and high set tail of excellent carriage. Slight dome to skull, ears set on fairly high, eye of good colour, blunt cushioned muzzle of correct length to give balance to the head and defined chin. He has good angles front and rear and he went well coming and going and also moved out well on the go around.

1. Perfitt’s Richearon Easy Does It for Hilshki. 2 yr old who presented a pleasing outline with moderately short, strong neck, excellent topline, good length to ribcage and ribbing well sprung, short in the couplings and plumed tail set on high and of good carriage. Slightly domed skull, eyes correct for shape and placement but could be a touch darker to enhance and would like to see more fill below, ears set on fairly high and well feathered and nice dark pigmentation. He stands on correct hare feet and on the move he pleased on the go around but could be more accurate coming towards. Well handled. Best Special Beginner and pleased to see he went on to take Special Beginner Group 1.

VB (4,0)

1. Short’s Ch Malia Summer Memories. 8 yr old who comfortably took the win in this class and what a super girl she is and although I didn’t recognise her, I gave her a CC a number of years ago. Feminine throughout and an absolute pleasure to go over her. Correct in outline with excellent neck, firm level topline, super rib which carries well back, good croup and plumed tail set on high and of excellent carriage. I just loved her head and expression; slightly domed skull, oval-shaped eyes of good colour and correct placement in the skull, well feathered pendant ears set on fairly high, blunt cushioned muzzle and defined chin. She stands on very good feet which are well feathered and she certainly didn’t disappoint when gaiting and particularly pleased on the go around and she has excellent self carriage. RCC, Best Veteran and pleased to learn that she went on to take Veteran Group 4.

2. Rice’s Ricox All About Love JW ShCEx OSW VW. 7 yr old who also pleased hands on but carrying more coat. Nicely balanced with strong neck of correct length, firm in topline, excellent ribbing, short in the couplings, good croup and plumed tail which pleased for both set and carriage. Attractive head with good skull to muzzle proportions, dark expressive eyes, ears are set on just right, cushioned muzzle and overall pleasing expression but winner just had the edge. She stands on correct hare feet and they are well feathered as desired. Another who moved well when viewed in profile but not quite the front action of 1.

3. Simper & Scoates’ Clydum Rhadiance of Rhedd

PB (2,0)

1. Lemon’s Parloueve Genuine Love Taf. Two litter sisters, approaching 12 mths, battled it out in this class with this girl taking the win. Inquisitive pup of sound construction. Her topline is still to settle a tad but I thought her promising. Correct length of neck to balance, ribbing carried well back, firm loin and plumed tail set on well and of pleasing carriage. Feminine headpiece with slightly domed skull, super expressive eyes, ears good for size and set, cushioned muzzle which is blunt as desired and good chin. She has correct angulation both ends, stands on characteristic feet, moved freely coming and going and pleased on the go around too and using herself as she goes. Thoroughly deserving of Best Puppy.

2. Horton’s Parloueve Show Me Love of Dixpat. Another who is well built all through but differing in outline to her sister, having a touch more length of neck. She is nice and firm in topline, rib is well developed and carried well back, correct croup and tail pleased for both set and carriage. Slight dome to skull, dark oval-shaped eyes of correct placement, ears set on fairly high but not quite mouth of 1 and this affects her expression. She stands on characteristic hare feet and moved nice and straight on the down and back and has good profile action too and like her sister, she has confidence of carriage.

JB (3,0)

1. Cooper’s Susu The Show Must Go On JW. I was presented with three very different bitches in this class. This 16 mth old was my winner and she appealed hands on and was well balanced in outline. Correct length of neck, level topline, pleasing spring of rib, firm loin and plumed tail set on high and of good carriage. Feminine in head with slightly domed skull, expressive oval-shaped eyes, ears of good set, blunt cushioned muzzle and definition to chin. Well constructed all through, accurate when coming and going and also pleased on the go around and carries herself with some style.

2. Simper, Scoates & Dawson’s Clydum Mighty Magic. 15 mth old who doesn’t quite have the bone of 1 but she also pleased for overall outline and balance. Strong neck, firm level back, ribcage extends well back, short in the couplings, correct croup and plumed tail which pleased for both set and carriage. Balanced headpiece with feminine expression; slight dome to skull, very nice eye, ears good for size and set and showing some lift, cushioned blunt muzzle and defined chin. She stands on correct feet and has pleasing angles both ends. Gaiting well on the go around and accurate coming towards but winner just had the edge overall.

3. Lemon’s Parloueve Mystical Magical Taf

1. Rice’s Ricox I'll Love You As You Are JW. A good sized class but again some very different bitches competing. This 2 yr old came out on top and scored for overall construction and pleased hands on. Correct length of neck for the breed, excellent topline, good length to ribcage, strong loin, firm croup and high set well plumed tail. Correctly proportioned head with lovely feminine expression; oval-shaped eyes of good colour, ears set on fairly high and cushioned muzzle. Lemon’s Llewodbach Love of Mine at Oldcharm. 16 mth old who also appealed and she too presented a very good outline with strong neck which is well set on, level back, well developed rib which is carried well back, firm croup and tail set on high and of good carriage. Feminine headpiece with slight dome to skull, excellent eye and ear, muzzle of correct length and with cushioning and nice dark pigmentation. Pleasing angulation front and rear and she stands on characteristic feet but toes out more than I would like. Gaiting freely on the go around and carrying herself well as she goes. Good quality coat and very well presented.

3. Simper, Scoates & Dawson’s Clydum Magic At Midnight

LB (2,0)

1. Lemon’s Oldcharm My Kinda Love. 20 mth old who has a super outline with graceful neck of correct length to balance, firm straight backline, pleasing rib and well plumed tail which is good for set and carriage. Attractive, well proportioned head, oval-shaped eyes which are of good colour and placed fairly well apart in the skull and blunt muzzle with cushioning. Well laid shoulders, slight bow to forelegs, very good feet and firm hindquarters with well let down hocks. On the move, she uses herself fully such is her character and she moved freely all through.

2. Rice’s Parloueve Back To Black of Ricox JW. 5 yr old out of a smaller mould and quite different to the winner. Feminine throughout, she is nicely balanced with pleasing neck, level topline, correct spring of rib and ribcage of good length, strong loin and tail correct for both set and carriage. Slight dome to skull, eyes of good colour and shape, cushioned muzzle of correct length to give balance to the head and defined chin but overall expression not that of 1. Standing on correct feet and when gaiting, she pleased on the go around but winner had the edge to and fro.

OB (6,0)

1. Short’s Malia Mistletoe Kisses JW. 2 yr old who wasn’t quite in full coat on the day but what a super girl she is. Totally feminine, an absolute delight to go over and she presented a beautifully balanced outline. Neck of correct length which is well set on, firm straight back, excellent ribbing, strong loin, good croup and richly plumed tail set on high. Quality head with sublime expression, full of femininity, correctly proportioned with dark oval-shaped eyes, ears set on fairly high, blunt muzzle with cushioning, excellent pigmentation and definition to chin. Good angles front and rear, standing as you would wish in front on correct hare feet and firm, well-made hindquarters with well let down hocks. On the move, she was accurate when coming and going and was a pleasure to watch on the go around too. Very well handled to take the CC and her crown, I was informed.

2. Lemon’s Parloueve Love Me Better. 3 yr old who is very different to my winner but she has lots to like. Moderately short neck which flows into well laid shoulders, pleasing spring of rib, firm loin and tail set on high and of good carriage. Attractive, well proportioned head with slight dome to skull, expressive eyes of good colour, well feathered ears correctly set and showing some lift, cushioned muzzle and nice dark pigmentation. She has the correct feet for the breed but doesn’t quite stand as well as winner in front, however on the move, she went very well when viewed in profile and has confident carriage and she is excellent when going away.

3. Simper & Scoates’ Clydum Country Lass
